Might need a touch up before the next test match. I see why its so loved and we love it too!TFTC
Lots of kids enjoying the sporting activities in this area today. Using our standard stealth mode (which can come across as us looking dodgy), the cache was soon located. Unfortunately the container had come apart. Steve did his best to MacGyver it back together, but will definitely need the COs attention when she has returned from her overseas trip.Great cache Ronice88. Cheers.
Nice hide. Took a minute or two for the GPS to settle then a poke around. Soon had it. Cache OK
A last minute decision to make the trek to Mt Beauty for the weekend, with beaut weather forecast, and a beaut number of caches on offer...HaHaHa, fantastic, hit for six, TFTC Ronice, FP awarded !!!
The last time Mrs B & I were in Mt Beauty there were workers around the area so we skipped this however this time we had the area to ourselves. I spotted something out of place, fiddled with it as I am wont to do and behold, there was the cleverly constructed cache. We both agreed this one would make it to our favourites list and luckily I have one favourite point remaining to award. Well done to CO!TFTC
No wonder this has so many favorites, great hide and great cache container. Good stuff Ronice88 very clever.TFTC TNLN
Cruised into Mt.Beauty after a coffee stop at Tawonga. Looking for a lunch spot, we found a few caches close by to exercise the legs. This looked like an incredibly unlikely spot for a cache, but a steady eye came up with a possible unlikely hiding spot. Bingo. Great job. take a favourite from us Ronice88
Visiting Bright for a family reunion we decided to stop and do some sight seeing and my goodness did we hit the jackpot!! Mt Beauty is absolutely stunning I walked past the cache multiple times though hubby was able to see it instantly TFTC
A beautiful weekend away with family was just what the doctor ordered and to top it off we got to geocache on our last day. Lucky for me I had my partner in crime TBS with me to help find this one. He always seems to know where to find those cheeky hidden caches. TFTC it was a beauty
After a wonderful weekend spent with family at Mt Beauty / Tawonga South we had the Tuesday to ourselves so it was time for a caching day, something we hadn't done for months. Very clever hide, a favourite point from me.WE DON'T LIKE CRICKET, OH NO, WE LOVE IT!!!
Game on at all levels! If youve torn yourself away from the box, the cache is waiting..just a wee modification to avoid a repeat problem! Happy caching!
Game On has been clean bowled ie MUGGLED and inoperable. Will return to play in next innings.shortly
Found the container, and had my hands on 90% of the cache. Unfortunately, it has come apart and I couldn't make a tool to retrieve the remainder
After having spent the week in mount beauty with the weather not too condusive for another day on the mountain with the geo kids we opted to spend the afternoon caching. The geo son loves his cricket and was absolutely amazed by the quality of this cache.
Thanks for the effort placed into this cache

Definitely a favourite! Up for the long weekend and wearing the kids and the dog out around the pond. Quick find, logged and returned. Kids loved it. Thank you!!
That was a very cool container indeed -- a well earned FP. Thank you for the hide!
Awesome container. I found this one quickly, having come across a similar setup.
Catching up with some very late logs. This was found while away over night with friends.
Up early for a walk and grabbed this was a fun but easy enough find at GZ. Enjoyed the hide.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

We're on a mini trip to the high country in Victoria. Rick has gone on a motorbike run and I'm with a friend who also cached but hasn't for a while. We met the CO this morning, who recommended this one, and they were right. What a great hide and container. My first time in Mount Beauty, it's lovely, and we'd like to return for a longer visit some time.
We drove up to Mt Beauty from Bright today. The club was quiet except for the workmen right next door. They seemed to ignore us while we searched.
This is a great camo cache. Loved the theme and the cache. Thanks for the fun today.

Trip to Mt Beauty was on the cards today for lunch, swim and a bit of geocaching.
Had to check this one out with the amount of FP. Quickly spotted something unusual and sure enough there was the well made cache. FP awarded !

What a clever hide ! Out for an explore of Mount Beauty and thought we would give finding a cache a go - this one certainly didn’t disappoint
OMG THIS WAS THE COOLEST CACHE ME AND MY FRIENDS FOUND IF YOU HAVNT FOUND IT THIS IS A MUST HAVE
TFTC. Day 11 of our enforced layover in Albury as the Motorhome gets repairs. Looks like we will be here for another week.
We are making the most of our opportunities. Today there was an event in Mount BeUty, hosted by good friend Smittengranny. After the event we spent some time exploring via various geocaches around own. After a bite to eat we headed back to camp in Albury.
A brilliant description and head. Very inventive.

Found with PapaGrouch on a trip to Mt Beauty. Took a little while to spot the well camouflaged hide, loved the themed container. TFTC
Wow wow Wow! A FP for the work that has gone into this one.
Wow Mt Beauty caters for every type of cyclist. From the really daring, extremely fit people who participate in the Peaks Challenge, the MTB daredevils, the BMX riders to the social casual older folk and the rip roaring youngsters who love tearing around the paths mostly on one wheel.
I guess with my nom de plume, you can guess which group I belong to, and today I targeted just one cache along a route to ensure that I completed my personal calendar challenge. As usual I couldn't go past one that was begging to be found on this beautiful sunny morning. So instead of one cache I managed to find and sign four logs which were all found to be in good condition. Thanks Ronice88. Excellent work.

It’s MEGA Road Trip time!! A plan is hatched and we are good to go.
DAY SIX: Harrietville to Albury, via Mt Beauty & Tallangatta.
Now THAT is rather clever! A definite favourite point heading your way.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Ronice88

Day #6 of the MEGA road trip. It was time to pack up our campsite at Smoko and head further north. We set off to complete a tour of some of the Towong LGA on our way into NSW.
This was a clever hide at GZ and worthy of a favourite point.
Thanks Ronice88 for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

This had got to be the best cache ever. I was incredibly impressed. How unique is this? Well done.
This one had me stumped for a while, but I eventually got off the mark. Very nice hide.
Great cache. Real good. Found on the day of the great wet.
Well to us it was. 33 everyday then. Bammmm the great wet.

After a damp day yesterday, this morning was dry but very windy.
We did a bit of walking around town, often crossing over our tracks with multi's.
Fortunately no game on here day (except for geocaching!)
A very nicely themed hide, and well constructed.
Thanks, Robmc.

#18070. A day to spend in Mount Beauty and man was it windy. Thought our little dogs might blow away several times. However the weather hasn't put off the tourists as the caravan park is pretty full now for the weekend. Only managed 8 finds for the day and a DNF but that was enough.
After the nice walk to Many Bridges this morning we ventured out in the chariot after lunch to gather up the others. Some interesting information re the development of the bat. Dad used to be a pretty good cricketer and I used to love the smell of linseed oil when he was lovingly tending to its needs. A favourite point for this one. A brilliant hide that I enjoyed very much.
Thanks Ronice88

First of all apologies for the very late logging of this cache - it seems that I'm better at actually finding caches than logging them and have heaps of draft logs saved in my phone.
This cache was AWESOME and had us fooled for quite a while. Loved it!
Thanks Ronice88 for placing and maintaining this cache.

Finding some caches while in mount beauty for the weekend. Had heard about this one from some caching friends but still with their advice took a while to find in the dark. Eventually we discovered something suspicious and sure enough it was the cache.
A well designed and exciting cache. TFTC

An exceptional idea, design and placement. Double favorite on this cold morning.
Just completed a 52 km circuit on the bikes with 1033 m elevation gain up to Eskdale Gap cache what a great day out on the bike.
Finished of with with a couple of caches as a bonus during our roll back home.
Loved this cache and took some time finding. Lucky for me there were no muggles in attendance.

A lovely walk/drive around this cool lake in a lovely little town. I haven't been here for a very long time - pre caching in fact! Hahaha awesome find, cool container! Favourite point added. Thanks for the cache Ronice88.

This is a very clever cache. The container is brilliant and the container is even more brilliant and then the container is a typical geocaching container. So inventive.
Sure enough there was a game on but only soccer between a few mates. Great hide which gets a fav. Listing from us.
We did enjoy reading the history of the cricket bat size and shape. Another special Ronice hide, but spotted quickly amongst the recycling! SL at 1.19pm #7661 TFTC
The CO, who we’d met while in the shopping centre insisted we look for this cache, so of course we did. It was well worth it! We had a bit of fun playing with the cache when we found it. It was so cleverly hidden and well built! Unfortunately access to it was made difficult by other stuff being put in front of it. My electronic device had GZ a few metres away from the cache, but still within tolerance. Hers was much closer. It proves each device can lead you in different directions.

FAVVVVVV!!! What a cool container!! Finding this cache made the trip so memorable!!
There was a game going on.. nobody quite noticed us .. we made a video of finding the cache and shared it with our folks.
Caches like this is what makes me want to keep caching!! FP awarded

Very nice hide. Alls well on site. Thanks for bringing me to this place and will now bat on to the next Bc site up the hill.
Hubby, geo dog Roxy and the eldest geo kid drove back home 2 days ago. The rest of us are staying up here in Punkah for another 2 days as there is definitely no rush to get back with all the recent Covid outbreak. So it was geo kid SowaMLE and Snook and also Babcia. We decided to take a drive to explore Mt Beauty.
The weather was looking more and more menacing. The heavens opened up but the rain was still light so we had just enough time to get to this last cache for the day. So glad we did as this was a fantastically awesome cache. The kids and I absolutely loved everything about it. So well designed and executed.
The cache and log was in good condition.
There was some nice street art nearby. Here endeth our day out in this lovely area. It was time to go back to the van and decide what to have for dinner. But first we had to safely navigate the mountain through what now was a very heavy rain storm.
Thank you for the cache here Ronice88 obviously a fav point from us for this fun and clever cache.

Back at Mount Beauty after a break of a couple of years. What a cache festival has appeared this year! Fantastic work!
This was the third of 4 today to open the new year account.
We continued round the pondage into town and stopped to search for this popular cache. Nothing presented itself immediately, but then a comment in a recent log caused us to look slightly further afield.
Aha - what’s that? Oho - that’s big! Wayhay - what a ripper!
TFTC Ronice88 and thanks for stepping cache placement up a notch (or two!)

Lockdown over, the ring of steel down, it was time to hit the high country, so I headed out with my geocaching partner in crime, packed up the car and hit the road. Spent last night at Smoko camp ground and headed this morning to Mount Beauty. Chose one cache before heading up the mountain and what a grate cache to choose. So much effort into this hide, a favourite point left behind for the CO.
Thanks to Ronice88 for the cache.

With the geowife away at a sewing retreat and a fine day forecast I offered the kids a trip to either Bright or Mt Beauty for an early season swim. Thankfully they chose the latter so I could finish an Adventure Lab I started months ago and try a few of the many caches placed since my last visit.
Back to the park for a last play before heading home. Wasn't going to get this one but so glad I did - worked out straight away where the cache was hidden, but the design of the final container was so well done - had to give a favourite here (and there will be many).
Will be back to get a few more early next year (I hope).

#4289 We have thoroughly enjoyed our caching day in and around Mt Beauty today finding many quality caches. But... this hide could be the best of the day. The quality of this cache could be compared to a Ricky Ponting front foot cover drive in his heyday. Great work and TFTC Ronice88, another FP from us.
In all are travels we would not have even thought to traveled to this location.

As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
Please excuse Generic log. Covid has placed many a restriction/s on many of us. Given a now larger border bubble, we noticed many new caches in Mt Beauty and as we had not been to the town as a team before, we took the opportunity to leave Albury/Wodonga and grab what we could at a leisurely pace on a beautiful day.
We were very impressed with the effort that obviously had gone into the making of the various and varying caches. Well done and thank you CO.
