Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, jesswrigley and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, it was our final leg to Brisbane. It was raining cats and dogs, however there were patches of dry weather, so we decided to make a stop at Surfers Paradise initially to have a walk along the beach promenade. We also took the opportunity to make a stop at Logan to find Queensland's first geocache, and subsequently had a nice walk in Karawatha Forest.
We came past this one, and had a good look as per the suggested hint. Like others have commented, we are pretty sure that this one is missing, so it is definitely in need of a CO check. Thanks anyway gotadollarmate for the cache placement.

There is nothing resembling anything as previously photographed.
Check the pole and the ground all around. Lots of empty brackets.
Needs a check
Good spot though.

Staying pretty close to this one at the moment so the kids and I came down not once but twice. Unfortunately even on the second attempt we came up empty handed.
A coupling of missing signs at GZ my explain our problem or I could just be out of tune.
Thanks anyway

After two attempts we finally found it. First attempt took us over an hour until we gave up, second attempt took us less than 5 minutes.

First of a couple of days on the coast and while strolling along the markets, it made sense to walk just a little further and have a go at this cache. [^]
I figured I knew where it might be hiding as I approached, but I was way off track as I spotted the container immediately on arrival. Well, at least it was easier to retrieve than I expected...
Log out, I etched my name at the end of the list, then tucked the cache back. We love a nice quick find in a busy location that's for sure.
Cheers gotadollarmate.

I came down to the Gold Coast this morning to spend a few days with Just a Trifle. This afternoon we took a jaunt to Surfer's Paradise to grab a few caches.
We stopped for me to grab this one while collecting WPs for the nearby multi and virtual caches. Good thing I had a previous finder with me because the hint sent me to the completely wrong spot! Soon I was redirected and the cache was in hand. TFTC, gotadollarmate.

Found with Brendan85. Lots of folk around so had to wait for the right moment. TFTC!
Log was full so have put in some more paper, it’s very snug now. Loving the Goldie
Tonight I decided to venture away from the family and go for a wander along Surfers Paradise. I had noticed the Virtual Cache and the large Multi along here and wanted to give them both a crack. It was very busy down here this evening, I was unaware of the markets occurring tonight lol. So with printed copies of the Virtual and the Multi, it was off I went. Had to park almost 3km away from the start of the multi and virtual, but these things happen.
Came across this one whilst doing the big Multi along Surfers Paradise tonight, as others have mentioned, the log is FULL so I scribbled RWLD in a tiny spot running longwise. The CO will need to replace the log on this one.
Thanks for the cache placement gotadollarmate

This has to be one of my favourite caching memories! The location is fabulous, and the girls and I decided to hire some electric trikes to zoom up and down the foreshore while collecting clues for a nearby multi, appreciating the views and judging the skimpy bikinis. Well, maybe not the latter .
The electric scooters were fabulous, so much faster than I ever imagined, and then girls were grinning from ear to ear.... right up until when geokid #1's trike tire exploded. It sounded like a gun going off. Que tears, frightened faces, and a distinct lack of confidence. We limped back to the rental place, and exchanged trikes. Confidence restored, we collected the rest of the clues, and then picked up the final, followed by this little cache. Wahoo Awesome!

As others have suggested, the log is full and unable to be signed. I've taken a photo of proof of find. CO might want to pop a new nano log in.
Thanks,

Spotted this one rather quickly. It helps when your with a group but no one was interested in what we were doing anyway. Tftc signed as J83
Finally got into Surfers for this one and another AL further up. Saw it straight away, luckily it was a quiet Wednesday afternoon pre school holidays so coule look casual retrieving and replacing. TFTC gotadollarmate
Out and about caching today - weather was fine and cache found - luckily not many muggles around. TFTC gotadollarmate
Yes, we were having a great time. I forgot to take a photo though, sorry. Found the cache just where we thought it should be so a nice quick find which is great when there are people about. A minutes wait for traffic to pass before replacing kept it all good. Thanks for the cache gotadollarmate.
Cheers and happy caching!

Nice location and I’m glad the log is reduced as I didn’t bring my tweezers.

Quick trip out with Krcamber to get this one, being early Saturday and drizzling there weren’t to many muggles out. Quickly found, signed and placed back without hassle. TFTC
Well it’s international Geocaching Day so of course a cache was needed. An early start on this rainy Saturday had Reezielou and I heading to this one. Not too many people around this morning and we made quick work of this with Reezielou spotting it almost immediately. Signing done and off we went. TFTC!
Not as easy when first looked. Maybe a couple times round, finally saw the cache happy log. Thanks for the hide
FTF out early Sunday morning in the rain no muggles about at this time took this one back to the car to sign to keep the log dry. easier to replace than extract TFTC gotadollarmate
