When we placed this cache, we decided for difficulty 2.5, for a cache which ist just 1.5-2m off a track. As the track is obviously not anymore maintained as before, nature is taking back the track.Even with 10000 or more finds, it happens from time to time that also experienced cachers have to search longer, or to come back a second time or need a PAF.The coords which the last finder noticed, have only a slight difference to ours', taken by phones and e-trex. It's a game. Happy caching, Uwe and Susan
**S 27 07.400 E 152 53.572**rxrica and I had tried for this one on two visits about 20 minutes apart. My smart phone had me in a certain area. Which was odd because it seemed to be loaded up with lantana (yeah - maybe not so much anymore )We widened our search. rxrica is only new to caching and was getting a bit frustrated at her smartphone jumping around and not understanding what she was looking for. I explained about "bounce" and that she just needs more experience seeing more hides. However, my 10,700 finds / 14.5 years experience was coming up with nothing. I fell back to a PAF who kindly gave us a fat hint. After about 5 minutes of more searching, rxrica came up with the goods! I signed the log for us and re-hid the cache as found.I am posting up the coordinates that worked for me today. I am not sure if it's going to help anyone. I am using a smartphone and there is a fair bit of bounce with the foliage. A great little hide. TFTC TBU2Uwe001
Evil hide. Needed a PAF from CO's wife. And disturbed a poor young guy who just wanted a quiet bong in the bush. Thanks for the cache TBU2Uwe001
Susan checked the cache yesterday: still there and waiting for the next cacher. There might be plans for backburning - I will keep an eye on this . At the moment: all good to go
I passed this area today, and yes, the container and logsheet inside is still there in its hiding spot. Happy caching, TBU1Bikesu
I couldn't get mobile phone service in the Conservation Park. Searched the rough area, but to no avail. Too hot to stay for too long.
Unfortunately we could not find this cache. Hope to come back later for another look
You just have to love a south east Queensland winter, whilst the mornings can be cool the days are often bright and pleasing and a trip out into the nearby country side to hint caches is a lovely way to spend a morning.
After finding an appropriate spot to park the geowagon, I walked over to collect the prize. It was soon found, log extracted and signature added before returning safely for the next cacher to find.
Very pleased to be able to turn this cache into a yellow smilie and off of search of my next adventure.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Headed out on the geo-car for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around upper Caboolture.
After circling around a bit, I soon narrowed the cache down. Well that was a tricky cache. Worthy of a FP.

Round and round and round we searched to no avail. We were just on the verge of messaging the CO for a hint when Mr T spotted the sneaky hide.

With a couple of hours before work I thought I’d come north for some caching around Morayfield…
I can’t believe it’s been over 2 years since I was here last… and I almost thought it was going to be another DNF… persistence paid off… turns out I didn’t need to impale myself on the Lantana…

Found it on 6 January 2023 1:30 pm find number 1109 for this pirate lady. Tftc I almost gave up as I hate lantana. Clever hide.
TBU2Uwe001 I found your cache Sheep Country on 22/11/2022, 2:45 pm. This is my find 4465 and find # 7 today. After confirmation that the cache is there decided to make a return trip. This time searched around GZ and found the cleverly camouflaged cache. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Well this cache had us searching for quite a while and eventually we sent a message to the CO for any help. A message came back that they were out on their motor bikes so we conceded defeat and moved on to the next cache. But defeat didn’t last long as the lovely CO sent another message and we came back to GZ where the well disguised cache was found. At last we had our signature in the log book and the the container replaced as found. A favourite from us for the hide. Thanks TBU2Uwe001 for a great cache and for getting back to us.
TBU2Uwe001 I didn’t find your cache Sheep Country on 1/9/2022, 5:09 pm. Searched here and there but nothing found.
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.After a search and a message to the CO we went to grab the other caches nearby on the way back with a message received we headed back to GZ.Once back we found the cache and signed the log we must have looked everywhere except this spot.Sneaky hide thanks for the cache very well camoflauged.

Two times DNF, third look in place suggested by COs wife, and found the little blighter, it sometimes pays to widen the search area a couple of metres, and turn on cache eyes, Thanks for the hide, TBU2Uwe001, now to extend my search area, and look to wider horizons
Due to health issues, we didn't check immediately this cache after a DNF - particularly as it happened couple of times before, but it was never gone.
As Susan met Cliff in Scarborough on Australia Day, we apologized for the delay, and went today to check the cache. Yes, it's still in its hiding spot, but we replaced the logsheet.
It's all good to go.
Happy caching!

Trying to convert Blue grumpy faces to happy smiles, but not here today, there has been some tractor slashing in the area my GPSr points me, including some saplings broken down, hope this is just my GPSr being out of whack, but two times over a month apart is just a bit wrong, I will await further finds to be made before coming back to donate more blood to the local Mosquito's
Came here today, to fill a date on my statistics, sadly caching eyes were not working too good, but as this hide is less than 1 kilometre, from my back door, as another person has said "I will be back"
Changing a wet log of the nearby cache, we checked this one to. As the log was pretty full, we added a new logsheet. Happy caching!
We took a stroll here today targeting a nearby letterbox for a challenge but couldn’t get so close to this one without finding it as well. It was lovely, bright and crisp on this winter’s day, just perfect for exploring this area. Information in a previous log really helped us to find this one. TFTC TBU2Uwe001
First for the day. Thought we had to give it up then we found the sneaky little hide. TFTC
Creative cashe.. owsome..

Collecting caches in this locality and this was one we targeted and found. It took us a long time to find this well camouflaged cache Fav point alloc. Thanks for hiding and enhancing our enjoyment of the area.
Out today to pick up a cache near home and this one was very sneaky ... and found it! Has earned a Favourite from me. Signed the log and put the cache back where found. TFTC
GPS had us scratching around like a termite but that was not required. Circling to avoid the lantana at Ground Zero and we soon had the log in hand.

Thursday. Second visit here today for Slow Puncture. First time we had no luck at all, even though Mrs SP had put her hand right on the container! Very sneaky cache here. I couldn’t believe how much drier it is this time round. A couple of weeks makes a huge difference here.
This was the 13th of 16 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***TBU2Uwe001*** for showing us this place

Found with Quesera after a search and PAF it wasn’t in the obvious place we needed to expand our search area. Thank you for placing this cache here
Sharpem and I decided to take a little walk and find the 4 caches in this area. This was our last cache here for today and after feeling very happy with our geocaching skills so far but knowing this was going to be a tricky hide I still felt confident. We looked and looked and looked etc etc etc . After around 45 minutes and feeling a bit dizzy i decided to ask the co for a hint. Took ages to get reception to send the message. The co replied straight away (Thank you). Thanks to the information we spotted the cache in the second place we looked. Must have passed it a dozen times. Thankyou for taking us here and for placing this crafty cache here for us to enjoy .
We walked this morning to locate a set of caches and this was the last of the set. At the GZ we spent a lot of time searching and studying. Wazza did an outstanding job in locating the very sneaky little hide. The log book was signed and returned to its original position. A favourite point from us for the excellent container.
After my blunder of the other day, I came back this morning to find it. Department loses patience after a while so sometimes it is better to search alone. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks TBU2UWE001. All good with this cache.
Owner maintenance: after 2 DNFs checked it, still where it should be. All good to go.
Searched for this one in the pouring rain for quite a while before PAF who happens to be the CO for a hint, thanks for that Susan and then geowife found it at the same time - great hide, loved the camo. Definitely deserves a favourite point from us. Signed and returned as found before going back to the car absolutely soaked to the skin. TFTC TBU2Uwe001

Today after work I decided to stay in the area and designate the rest of the day for caching. I saw that their was a new AL series nearby so I decided to get started on that and grab any other caches as I travelled to complete that. My morning started in Morayfield and I made my way through Upper Caboolture and ended up in Rocksberg. I've never ventured out this way before, so it was great to come to a new place and enjoy the scenery.
As I was looking for this cache I could here voices coming my way, so I quickly looked around and I could see a group of people walking down the trail, so I turned around and wandered up the trail to avoid them, but they stopped at the spot I was looking, Hmmm.. Maybe they're looking for the cache to? So I wandered back down to GZ and asked if they're Geocaching, yep! indeed they are, it just so happened to be the CO. They had the container already in hand, so I was able to sign the log. I'm glad they were there because it was a really sneaky hide, I don't think I would've found if it wasn't for them.

We went today with our 4yo grandson and my brother to check on the two caches from hubby Uwe.
Coming around the corner, we spotted a person walking away ... Hmmmm.
We checked this cache, I signed the log for me, and there was the suspect back. Was nice to meet and chat with Geonafe, and after a while he took off to find the other cache .
Didn't think that hiding caches is so much fun!
Well done, hubby.

After a day of Little Bird watching by bike IolantheK & I headed of on another adventure by car. A few caches and a few labs later and this was our next nearest.
A short walk to GZ and a quick hunt to find this neat little hide. A favourite point for this one. [^]

After a bike ride with teamdfl this morning to collect some Little Birds, this afternoon we are rounding up a few stray caches, just because!
A short walk to GZ but here we thought the search could take a while. However we quickly had it in hand. Nice work on the camo, so have a favourite point. TFTC, TBU2Uwe001.

A nice stroll to GZ with wombles. We didn’t see any horses today but we did spot a cache.
Thanks for the smiley TBU2Uwe001

I do have a tendency to do stuff that looking back could have turned out differently. And this was no exception.
Having dropped the geo kid off at a party in the area, I decided that I wouldn’t stay at the party. So I took myself for coffee, and what else to do. As soon as I remembered the cache notification that came up this morning, they couldn’t make my coffee quick enough.
So I pulled up to the trailhead in the light rain praying that it would hold out long enough for me to find the cache.
Listening to the kangaroos crash through the bush in the gathering darkness, I realised that no one knew where I was, my GPS was bouncing all over the place so it was hard to get a lock on GZ. Finally inspiration hit and I had the log in hand. I was so excited that I signed it twice (sorry). Then back up the now dark trail feeling satisfied that I was FTF.
