Lovely place for a walk and a cache to start the day. Searched for a few minutes before something familiar caught my eye.
Thanks for the hide!!Great spot for a walk around the park and nice bridge.Cheers the HillyLads
Found by Mary and David at 10:50. Took us a while with our elderly eyes. Looked in several wrong places first, as our indicated GZ was a little off. We enjoy exploring these well-planned estates. Our thanks to thefinderz5.
Heading home after a caches further south and this was my next stop. Managed to make a quick find here and soon had the log signed. The back to the car and off for the next one.
Thanks for this one thefinderz5....

Lovely little park, even on a dreary cold winter's day. Which worked in our favour because not another soul was around. Was cacheblind at first, because we had a preconceived idea on what we might be looking for. Once we let that go, we found the cache nice and quickly. All is good at GZ. TFTC thefinderz5.
Took my cousin and her 4 month old on an adventure because the little man wasn't sleeping, fell asleep quickly in the car while I ran out and got the finds
Nice quick find for us today!

Good time on the prowl with JTreeTrack2! Accidentally left in my drafts for a few months!
My oh my! The cache was incredible and hard-to-find. Cache is also infested with ants.

Yay! A relatively quick (and intact) find, *not* where I would have expected for a structure of this construction.
Thanks heaps, thefinderz5!

A quick find for us tonight. Good concealment. Thanks for placing the cache thefinderz5.
Found it, adult daughter freaked out by the spiderweb within. Saved by the preschool grandchildren.
Went with five teams as we're in Ballarat for the weekend for Mum's 70th Birthday and to celebrate Christmas - our first full family group gathering since December 2020. A fun find here. Tftc.

After catching up with many cachers, from times past and meeting many for the first time at the Morning Tea in Ballarat Event and the Smythesdale Cemetery CITO, this is one of the caches we found, turning the green icon on our map to a happy yellow.
Thanks thefinderz5 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Quick find. Surprised there wasn't more people around this lovely reserve on such a beautiful day.
After having a look around and scratching our heads trying to work out where it could be, we finally found it. Unfortunately it wasn’t hidden and we had a bit of a scavenger hunt finding all the parts to it. Happy to say all were found and accounted for. I’ve hidden it, but most likely not where it’s supposed to be. Tftc
Sorry for the late log and a generic log. A combination of some heath issues making me not able to look at the computer for any length of time and a mishap with my phone that has caused me to lose my list of saved caches.
Found on a trip out with AusFox; and Neville_devil.
It was also AusFox's Birthday
Thank you for the hide

I ventured up to Ballarat on this special day with SimsFamily and Neville to attend an Event and CITO and grab a few caches nearby.
I looked where I thought it may be, but turned out I was closer than I first thought.
Log signed and replaced as found.

We enjoyed the walking track here, and had been meaning to come and find this for a while.
Took a bit to spot as we had assumed it would be a different type of hide LOL
Accurate coordinates meant we spotted it in the end.
Thanks for the hide here. There is usually great Christmas lights to see here too.

A little cache blindness happening here. It took us longer than it should have but we did manage to find the cache and add our names. Thanks for placing it for us to find.
With the lockdown over and the Geotour event going ahead in Ballarat, our original plans to camp and visit were back on. The adventure for GT37, Papi4506 and OHC, now begins!
A little cache blindness to start the day! We were looking for something more complicated than it should have been. A few circuits and rolling around when GT37 claimed... “are you sure it’s not this?”
Thanks thefinderz5 for the cache.

A camping road trip with Papi4506, Geoturtle37 and RoamingHowie, exploring Ballarat and surrounds, with focus on the new Geotour, the Goldfields Track and various solved puzzles.
Day One...
We spent quite some time searching for this one before GT37 spotted the obvious hide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, thefinderz5

Bookgroup was only a couple of hundreds metres from here tonight so I nipped down for a quick find first. Lots of people about walking and riding. Some magnificent houses through here. Many thanks for the cache.
A return visit and I was lucky enough to locate it straight away. After my first visit this was most welcome.

A nice easy find as i have found a few of these before. Nice to find some newer caches in Ballarat. Cheers.
Suscoe dropped by here this morning to check out the hide.
We passed three young kids playing in the creek/drain a way down stream.
They were having a ball getting muddy and wet.
We wondered about what might be in the chemical makeup of the water and if these kids had done this before or were they going to "get the rounds of the Kitchen" as our parents used to say.
Anyway we found the cache and signed the log.
All good here today.

We needed to be in Ballarat for an appointment and with having a little spare time we used this to go cache hunting. SL TFTC
Crossed to the point required and looked down only to find i was staring at it. So stunned by what i saw just stood there a moment. Good to instantly recognise a cache hide. One i have used extensively. CIGC TNLN TFTC.
Find #2422 for me. Found at 3:11 pm while visiting the area from Bendigo. This was the first time I'd been able to visit Ballarat for several months so I was very happy to finally be able to get out and enjoy this wonderful game again. Once at GZ I crawled under and acted like a troll for some time without success. The GPS signal had been playing up for me a little today but once it settled it was spot-on and I was able to make the find. I'd seen this kind of camo before but this one was more more realistic than the others and it blended in perfectly. Thanks for bringing me here today thefinderz5 and thanks for the cache!
Out and about with wozzle68 taking advantage of the sunny day and the lift of COVID restrictions, grabbing a few unfound caches in Ballarat.
Wozzle and I stood on the bridge keeping an eye out for muggles while Mr Triton made the find and signed the logbook.
Thanks thefinderz5 for the placement here for us to enjoy.
