Today we went for a lovely walk by the lake, played this Wherigo and watched the swans and the pelican.Everything worked perfectly with the Wherigo. Thanks for the WherigoTeam sissifalke
2665 - I headed out on another windy afternoon to go for a walk and to grab a few caches. When I was looking at the map I noticed there was a Wherigo here that I hadn't attempted before and another couple of caches I could easily grab whilst I left the geomobile in the car park here. I followed the compass around the lake and noticed how much more pleasant it was on the north side of the peninsular than the southern side, as it was more protected from the westerly wind that was blowing, and of course it had more sun shining down on it. I loved how you placed so many waypoints in such a small area, and I admit I probably should have solved more of the questions on my first try than I did. After I received the final coordinates I sat on the hill and watched a family feed some black swans down on the water and a pelican playing or fighting with some ducks. I then went to search for the cache which I found easily and in great condition at 3:06pm. Thanks for your great Wherigo cache Orange Crew, I enjoyed it!
Took a few attempts to run various apps and project the final location, but found it in the end. Nice location, thanks for the wherigo
Enjoyed this whwrigo with geosteve as I wandered around shoreline. Found the cache and signed the log. Thanks Orange Crew. All good with this cache and wherigo.
We targeted this cache today to help with one of our own personal goals/challenges we set ourselves. What a great idea for a wherigo! Thanks to GeoSteve we did learn some more things about caching as we wandered the shoreline getting our answers. Arriving at GZ we saw a possum with baby on her back, high in a tree and being harassed by crows, a magpie and mickies. Anyway the harassers soon tired and flew off and left them alone. Thanks for your effort in setting this up its a beaut wherigo in a pleasant setting. Happy to report cache is in very good condition. Thank you Orange Crew.
Post event caching on the northern end.
Taking my time to find more caches than on previous visits
It was peak picnic time when I arrived here.
A possum waited for me at the final location
Find number 29766 for me.
Thank you Orange Crew for hiding this geocache.

Prior to attending the Dayboro Mega over Easter 2021 I solved lots of puzzles around the Petrie & Strathpine area. However due to the ️ at that time I was not able to find them. Today I was able to return to these suburbs and make the find. TFTC

Orange Crew I found your cache Celebrate 20 Years of Geocaching on 1/1/2023, 2:55 pm. This is my find 4610 and find # 8 today. Thanks for the history lesson. Cache was found after widening my search area. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found with a little help as the coordinates didn't come up at the end of the whereyougo.
2 years, 600 caches and this is my first whereIGo!
Nice easy walk after a birthday picnic. Love this spot.
I’m also glad we found this one after a DNF at the other end! Found with Rach. TFTC.

After a picnic for a friends birthday, this was a great walk with friends around the lake and an opportunity to grab a ‘C’ for October. Gorjess516 first Wherigo! TFTC
After 3 years and 9 months of caching, i have finally completed my first Whereigo. What a great experience. It had taken we a while over the last few months to work out the cartiridges, app etc but now that i have it all sorted and completes my first i will be looking arouns for more. I knew most of the answers already but had to look up a couple of them. Quick find at gz. I love the dam and living so close to it. We come down here all the time and today i came down with my youngest daughter for a play at the park and to finish this cache off. All is good with the final hide but log only has a few spots remaining. TFTC Orange Crew.
My first Wherigo cache. Good one to start with as I’m relatively new to geocaching. Definitely learned some things along the way. TFTC
A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed the walk around the area doing the whereigo part of this. We did have some technical difficulties and weren't able to extract the final co-ords for some reason. We eventually worked it out and today I returned to find the final prize.
I was nice and early and no one was around so I didn't have to worry about any picnicers wondering what I was doing in the bushes at GZ.
This cache took a bit of searching for but I eventually found it all good.

I was having a day off - so I decided to do a few things that needed catching up - one being.. apparently.. to find a Wherigo in March for one of this cache owner's [Challenges](https://coord.info/GC9BY7R).
For a novel idea, I decided to actually do the Wherigo - rather than hitting someone else up for answers or hacking the cartridge
It was an enjoyable day and I enjoyed doing the answers. I did pretty good while on the western peninsula.. not so great on the eastern side. Every day is a school day! I was worried I would be swimming to arrive at some of the destinations. I am happy to report this was not the case.
I arrived at the given GZ to find the cache safe and sound. I signed the log and rehid the cache as found. An apt little cache - and I *did* learn quite a few things. I appreciate the effort gone into this one by the cache owner. TFTC Orange Crew

Targeted this one today to close a gap in my calendar and to be one step closer to logging a challenge I’m working on
Well put together Wherigo
Had fun completing it.

This is a beautiful place to go wandering around finding answers to the questions. We even enjoyed our lunch here. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC
We headed out to chase some tree fishing caches nearby and we decided to go find this cache to turn it into a yellow smiley face along the way, we are still waiting for our pole to arrive so The Green Geckos ?????? and Muggle 65 offered us to borrow theirs, while Muggle 65 was collecting a couple of caches in this area to complete his Difficulty and Terrain Loop.
Before leaving the new geocar (Track my adventures here D78QWZ) we read the description, hint, confirmed the difficulty and terrain. We set off to walk over towards the posted GZ for the search to commence. The MummaBear and the Cubs Gang started directing the group to where we needed to go. We started our to walk towards GZ, we were discussing about where this geocache could possibly located and what we were expecting.
Thankfully after a decent search in the wrong place. We made this find MUCH harder than what it needed to be and JLK started reading previous finders logs then realised who she needed to call to being the local postie BrisLions, within minutes, Muggle 65, DFC and Princess1005 had spotted the cache, then The Green Geckos ?????? retrieved the LITTLE CHEEKY BEAUTY and we added our little ink mark to the logbook. While JLK headed back to the geocar to start writing this log.

With afternoon plans at home, I managed to escape for a visit in Joyner. I planned on completing a walk at Forgan Cove targeting the *A Dam Fine Walk* series at Lake Samsonvale / North Pine Dam. It was already quite hot when I arrived, but there were enough trees to take the majority of the walk under shadow. After looping back to the car, I just had enough time in fishing for a couple of tree geocaches, and calling into Bullocky Rest to complete the *Celebrate 20 Years of Geocaching* Wherigo adventure.
This was an enjoyable Wherigo to play, and knowing the history of geocaching, I was able to answer the majority of questions without too much difficulty. Once my adventure was complete, I proceeded towards GZ. I think I was just fortunate that a couple of other Geocachers had found this geocache earlier today, as I was able to follow their geotrail, which lead me straight to the geocache! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Orange Crew for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

This kind of caches are not really our favourite ones, as once you are stuck with an answer for a location, you can't go ahead.
Not all answers were correct at the first try, but we could finish the Wherigo and got the coords for the final cache.
As others before, we widened GZ a bit, and found it!

I enjoyed the walk around answering the questions.
I thought I knew the history pretty well but I struggled to get most of the answers correct the first time.
I struggled to locate the cache at the end and decided to leave it for later and after a coffee break at the Coffee Club I returned with some information to narrow it down It still took me a few minutes to widen my search area enough to spot the cache.

It was a pleasant, peaceful morning for a walk along the lake. And I was able to answer most of the questions right first time. Thanks for the cache
We had an extra special surprise here, walking back from signing I saw a koala just casually strolling along the ground - we acted like ninjas and stealthed our way over. It began to climb a tree, when it saw us it made a bellowing sound then climbed up high. We ended up watching it for a while as it climbed to a super high skinny branch and began to have its afternoon tea. It’s been a while since I saw a koala in the wild.
This was one of the target caches for today as I needed a Wherigo in October. This one was perfect because I have never been to this area of Lake Samsonvale before. I really enjoyed this Wherigo, it was in a lovely spot, easy to follow and I do like a bit of history. Once at GZ the cache was soon spotted, all good here. Adding a FP, Tftc Orange Crew

Out for the day with nikid1 to do some fishing for a D/T I need & whatever else we happened across. We were here for the celebration event but didn't have time for the wherigo that day so this was a must do on our list today. It was a beautiful day for a stroll along the lake & I learnt some caching facts along the way. I don't know what was wrong with us at GZ but we made a fairly easy find take way longer than it should have! Oh well there's plenty worse places to spend some time taking in the sunshine & scenery.
Thanks for a fun wherigo Orange Crew

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG. I love Wherigos so was very keen to do this one. It was a lovely day by the lake for a walk around testing my geocaching knowledge. I did get a few questions wrong but lucky you get more than one attempt.
At GZ we had a case of cache blindness walking around in circles till we eventually found it.
Thanks Orange Crew that was a lot of fun.

This cache is perfectly in tact with heaps of room left on the log, no maintenance required. It seems the newer player was at the posted coordinates not the final coordinates when NM was made.
Bullocky Rest was my target area for the day, but because I’d gotten distracted by so many shiny things on the way here that time was now running out… I considered giving the Whereigo a miss, but FOMO won out and off I went…
I’m glad I did… and enjoyable stroll around the area… sidestepped lots of canoodling couples… and listening to all those Podcasts finally paid off… I think I got a fair number right first go…
Tftc… an easy fave point… my only complaint, GeoSteve’s hair… it’s not possible to keep it that “styled” while out caching…

This was such a fun time! Out with Stephyy this afternoon, this one was on our list to do.
A lovely walk around, and, for such a beautiful day, along with lockdown freshly lifted, it wasn’t as busy as I’d expected. Perfect!
We were lucky we teamed up on this one as we both had turns at answering a couple of the harder questions. Ooooh so smart.
No surprise that Stephyy spotted the cache in the end - young eyes and all that.
Thanks for a great Wherigo, Orange Crew

TFTC. We have not completed a wherigo for quite some time. It was a pleasure to walk around this fabulous park answering questions about our favourite pastime/obsession. Got most of the answers write first go. Must have been paying attention somewhere. Got to the final GZ and the geo Highway made it an easy find.
Found on a day out with McLookers and beckNmonts. We were targetting certain caches today.
Enjoyed wandering about around here with a buddy. One of the WPs lead us between a wedding and a birthday party but glad we could very quickly and seamlessly get that one! Final is fine and dandy. Thanks very much for giving us a reason to explore!
Dayboro QLD Mega - Day Six:
The sixth day of our mega road trip with buhfuhguh!
Another extremely long but successful day! After spending the day around Dayboro yesterday, it was time to focus on some Brisbane caching. We had Wherigo's, Challenges, T5 Kayak's, Virtuals and Earthcaches on our list to grab. We had to skip out on one challenge series, as the plagues or mosquitoes was literally unheard of. We got attacked in the hundreds the minute we walked into the wetlands, worse than either of us had ever seen! But plenty of other quality caches to get instead!
A great day around Brisbane, 13+ hours of caching all up and approximately 35 quality hides!
Thanks to all the CO's

This Cache:
A fantastic idea for a cartridge, and to coincide it with a CC Event is also very neat! Thanks for publishing it and keeping it around too, we enjoyed finding it whilst caching around here today!
Absolutely dead quiet around here today, not a single car on this wet miserable day. No need to be stealthy and no traffic so a plus for us!

Day two of our trip to the Mega after Gladys said yes. Pole fishing was a strong theme of the day and the areas north of the city had plenty to chose from. Despite the rain the Megatons as it appears in a number of the logs where signed as we pushed on. Some tricky hides and reaches but success at each one. TFTC
Managed to slip in this WiG in between the pole fishing.

I was unable to make this celebration event so it was fun to do the Wherigo . Imbunda tells me it rained at the event and it was raining again today, I’m sure the dam needs it ️. So taking our wet weather gear we took a tour with Steve and learnt a fact or three. No probs with the final. Made me remember why I like Wherigos so much. Tftc ️
Attending the Mega Event at Dayboro and caching with ChasingAdventures we needed a Wherigo and this one seemed suitable so off we went. I found i had lost my Phone Power Pack so we were running on one phone. We enjoyed the tour around the area and the smell of the BBQ cooking even though it was raining. Last time I visited this area for a Celebration Event it was raining too. Found cache and signed the log before an as found. TFTC
TGG & I nailing a multi here & so this cache screamed “solve me”. So we did in the drizzle
Muggle65 and l enjoyed our stroll in the rain. We really didn't know many of these but we do now! Fun cache. Thank you for placing it
This area was buzzing today as we moved around. We managed to get tangled up in an Easter Egg hunt or two. Thanks for the Wherigo and for bringing us to this very pretty area Orange Crew.
On day three of our adventure, we had a list of caches to target, of course we needed a wherigo. After obtaining the required information, all that was left was to evade some Easter egg hunts! Thanks for placing the cache Orange Crew, and making our day a great one!
Completed the Wherigo a few weeks ago, but when we arrived at the final location there was a young couple who had set up their picnic blanket about 10m from the GZ [:(!]. We loitered a bit trying to see if we could spot the cache inconspicuously, but no luck.
Returning today we had the area to ourselves and after a bit of a bush bash the cache was spotted and our names were inked. TNLNSL TFTC .

Out today with Nayfee collecting some target caches and some that were as we passed by. This one was one I missed at the event held here. A walk around collecting information and I was soon at a likely final spot.
At first I was on the wrong side of the fence for this one, then Nayfee tells me it’s down there. I soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. With the cache replaced we made our ways back to the cars for our next target cache and more on the lab series.
Thanks for placing this one here, a nice little walk around and a nice placement.

After dropping a kid off at a nearby holiday activity I headed here to try my hand and brain at this cache. A slow wander around the spit had me at GZ where the cache was spotted after a few minutes checking all the alternatives. TFTC Orange Crew
Out today doing random geocaches, and this one popped up - the right weekend to look at this I think. Placed to celebrate twenty years of geocaching on the planet ... found in commemoration of twenty years geocaching in Queensland. And it is a lovely spot to do so - some of the best that Queensland has to offer. With relative ease the walk was completed and the views were enjoyed in the lovely afternoon breeze on a perfect sunshine day. Peaceful, relaxing, lovely. And no issues with these temperamental cartridges for me today - all without a hitch we were soon enough looking at a likely GZ and inscribing names. Thankyou muchly.
Thanks Orange Crew for entertaining me at this location.

I've kept this cache up my sleeve for an upcoming mini milestone - 1800 caches! After a mini power trail today (21 caches, which we knocked over in about 80 minutes!), a challenge cache, a few stunning trads, and generally a great time laughing and caching, I was so glad to get out of the car, stretch the legs, and go for a wander around the dam.
I missed out on the 20th anniversary celebration (doh!) which was a real shame given successive celebration event have been postponed. But the whereigo almost made up for it - nicely themed, easy, great walk around a great scenic area. Cool cache at the end of it. The geokid #2 loved it, and it's pretty hard to get thumbs up from this harsh critic!!!
Sending a FP your way.
Thanks for a great whereigo Orange Crew!

Out for the day with @1MinnieMoo and @Nyssaflutterby for my birthday
We spent a lovely day driving around Lake Samsonvale. We started here and 1Mm and I did the wherigo while waiting for NF to join us.
We wondered what we would be looking for here but soon realised what was required of us. We got a few questions right, a couple we had to try twice. A fantastic wherigo Orangecrew, well done.

Wombles and co and I were awaiting the imminent arrival of NyssaFlutterby, who we were meeting out here for the day’s adventures. While waiting, we decided to kill some time and complete this Wherigo. I recall seeing people wandering around doing it on the day of the celebration event out here, but Fangsoki and I opted that day to stay dry in our shelter, and save it for a different kind of rainy day.
We made our way around rather enjoyably today with the glorious weather, and were soon at the end of the Wherigo. However at the end of it, the cartridge didn’t give us the final. Thankfully that was the exact moment NyssaFlutterby came along, and noting our confusion, pointed the way, explaining the same situation had happened to her too.
Thanks for the cache Orange Crew.

Thursday. Found this one and had great fun. Whilst Mr SP’s arrow pointed him into the drink, mine had us on the straight and narrow. Such a lovely area here, and I really think we should come here more often. We learnt a few things too about geocaching milestones. Nice fun walk and such a beautiful area. Dropped a FP in the cache after we signed the log
This was the 1st of 3 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***Orange Crew*** for showing us this place

I missed finding this wherigo on the day of the event so decided to make a visit today and create another smiley.
The dam is always a lovely place in the afternoon as the sun is going down. Being a week day there was only a handful of muggles about. I wandered through the tour and got most answers right the first time. I also learnt a few things I didn’t know about geocaching milestones.
At the final WP I hunted about for a bit and then read some past logs which pointed me in the right direction. Finally finding the tiny beasty I left my scribble and replaced as found.
Thanks for the smiley Orange Crew
Happy to part with a FP for this cache!
Well put together and I loved the tour guide.

I should have been nose down on the computer, in the CBD. After the new norm bug went through the office and rearranged desk spaces, old problems like ICT still remain (believe it or not!). I came to work with no computer docking station or other peripheries to keep me busy so left to come home mid morning, via a stop at this lovely spot.
With the computer working through invisible means, I could collect what I needed to work through the WIG. Pretty much had most of the answers already sussed from a geocaching quiz sent through a week or so back.
Today the strong winds kept most of the muggles at bay and I had a clear run to the final. At GZ noted the trampled grass in a few directions, stopping at a particular point where the cache was found. Thanks OC for an interesting and topical WIG.

I need a wherigo for the month of August so out I come. I did love the history lesson of geocaching. Orange CrewTFTC. *3775* Finds
Travelling with RoddyC on one of my first ventures while still in moonboots. Extra precaution as it was very wet.

Released as part of the Geocaching Turns 20 event GC8K1KZ. Congrats to saint75 on being FTF.
Found with a group after the nearby event. Eagle Eyed Gloria found the cache while I stayed on higher ground!
Absolutely loved the trivia master in this wherigo! What a cutie ?? FP from me.

We joined in with a nice group of cachers to assist with this wherigo. The hide wasn't where we all expected it to be but after widening the search it was soon located, good job CO.

After eating such lovely chocolate cake at the event organised by Orange Crew in celebration of 20 years of Geocaching, we joined a large group of like-minded people and chatted our way through this where Wherigo. I had little to do with solving the actual answers but was very happy to be in good company and enjoying the walk in the light drizzle.
Snickersallan went down and did the task of retrieving the cheeky Hide, and then I joined her to sign the log.
Thanks Orange Crew!

I accompanied the first to finders along on their little wherigo exploration of this area, and thoroughly enjoyed it! The rainy weather had eased up enough to let us complete the journey, and there was a lot to see and learn along the way. A very enjoyable experience, TFTC, Orange Crew. =^.^=
Found with a rather large crew at the event on Saturday.
Had a lot of fun wandering around the park chatting and catching up with people.
Cache was found, log was passed around for all to sign.
Thanks Orange Crew for bringing us together and organising this Whereigo. A fav from me.

Out and about with Selva Girls and joined in with a group doing this WhereIgo. Enjoyed the walk gathering information. Soon found. TFTC, Orange Crew.
On the day our names went into the log, we were gas-bagging and blindly following the herd at the event. In fact we were so slack that we even started walking in our own direction hoping someone was actually doing the work on their phone. When the call came that we were in the right area the large group started looking and made light work of the find.
It hadn’t sat right with me that we were just passengers that day. Wherigos are my favourite cache type and so a week later actually came out to run through the cartridge properly. This place is so much nicer when you aren’t huddled under a shaded BBQ trying to stay out of the rain. tftc

Attending a nearby event, I joined a group to find this WhereIGo. A lovely stroll around the headland and then the search for the cache. It was located and our names added to the log. TFTC
I was at the celebration event here and the prizes were announced. Oh look Shane got the wherigo.. that'll be funny to watch. But then Saintsmadhouses phone wouldn't download the cartridge either. I handed off my trusty oppo and kept chatting to the co and other cachers. Soon enough I was given the direction to catch up with them and I was able to meet up with them just before GZ. At GZ we were all pretty blind, the cloud cover and rain made the accuracy not so accurate. But soon Shane found the container and he was properly the first to find. Thanks for the cache Orange Crew
Enjoyed the questions in this cartridge. Really tested our knowledge of the game we enjoy so much! Thankyou for the effort putting this together for us and others to enjoy. Completed as part of a group assault while attending an event.
We joined with three other cachers to complete this Wherigo adventure. The questions asked at each stage did test your knowledge of geocaching over twenty years which was a fun challenge. We worked our way through each Wherigo waypoint and were rewarded with a new cache log where we added our names.
Many thanks to our team and to the Orange Crew for creating this Wherigo.
A favourite point from us for a well crafted and creative cache.

Found this brand new Wherigo while attending the “Geocaching Turns 20” event. Despite a bit of rain here and there, we were able to complete it quickly without any hassles and remaining relatively dry.
Nicely put together Wherigo with a bit of history, thank you Orange Crew for putting it together for us to enjoy.

Out for a solo run this afternoon to attend the CO's GC20 event and gather a few caches nearby.
After helping with the FTF on the new multi, I set about getting this new wherigo done as well. No idea why, but it was a struggle to download. A few of us worked on it together, and eventually with most phones primed, our group was underway. It was a leisurely wander around the area, and I had no difficulties running the cartridge. The final container took quite a while to discover, and DeafPhantom took the honour. TFTC and geocaching history lesson, OC.

Out and about today attending Orange Crew's Event. Between the showers a group of us tackled this Where I Go. Enjoyed answering the questions asked and then it was onto finding the cache. Cache found after a search and log signed. TFTC Orange Crew. Giving a FP .
Found this one with a large group after an event nearby. We enjoyed the walk and talk with a lovely group in the drizzling rain. I must admit not helping with the answers but enjoyed the walk. Thanks for the fun. Was a great afternoon ??
TFTC smile 7026 ?? out and about with miss Millie geo dog ?? did this whereigo with DuchAussie, RoddyC,?? Hatzoff ,??
Thank you, Orange Crew,?? for placing this cache for our enjoyment. ????

I love the dude who guided us around on this whereigo! it was an easy one and I recommend this for anyone who has never done one before. I learnt a few things as I walked around and it was an easy wander. I took about 20 minutes to walk it at a really slow pace, could be done in as little as 10 minutes. At the final spot the hunt for the container was a slightly trickier terrain but there were things to hold on to so I didn't feel I would slip. Saint175 popped his name in on his first ever FTF, First Wherigo and we headed back to the event. Thanks Orange Crew, you have inspired me to make a Wherigo! This gets a Favourite point for 3 reasons, #1 It wasn't a hike or long distance, #2 It was easy and informative and #3 It had a Lego Minifig!
Another good group effort. Thanks for an interesting wherigo entertainment - enjoyed the history questions.
