Found by Mary and David at 12:30. Muggle kids playing football about 100m away paid us no attention. Enjoyed the short walk and the newish houses Our thanks to Stammily.
Another bison tube for today, and another great cache for today. only just started collecting the clues unfortunately!TFTC stammily

A day with gwd.aussie and D@geo in Leongatha. This is one of the caches we found. Thanks for placing the cache Stammily
Found with gwd.aussie and Sharon14.Decision was made last night to head down to Leongatha for some caching. Plenty of newer caches for us to find since my last visit. Thanks Stammily
26 May 2024 10:45 am - 1st Find for the day. Out with non-geo son between miss 11's soccer matches. F ind no. 1079. Fog still hasn't lifted all the way yet. Still chilly and our feet are now a little soggy Thanks for the cache.
19 December 2023 2:13 pm"Are you okay to drive me to my own event?", was the message I woke up to today, otherwise it might be cancelled. With the news that Brains car had had a bit of a malfunction. But Buhfuhguh to the rescue, quickly picking him up and rushing down to make the event in time. All in all was a great little day out caching in this corner that I rarely visit, thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
A quick and easy find… all in good nick.
These streets don’t even exist on Google maps.
It’s a lovely estate.

With 2 weeks off work, and my car at the mechanics, there weren't many options of places I could go, my plans had all bombshelled. Luckily I'd organised to cache with day1976 over this weekend, and a post popped up with someone giving away their prom campsite, so I took it.
After climbing Mt Oberon yesterday, I had a sore hip flexor so I wasnt up for more big hikes unfortunately.
It was a drizzly morning, and a bit windy, but I wanted to make the most of the prom.
We'd both nearly had enough, but decided to get a couple more smilies in town. Surprisingly day1976 spotted this one, he very rarely sees these hides haha.

A newer area in town we have not been to before. A short stroll for a quick find.
After a month long hiatus we were back in the game today! We met up with our good friend Rebel Acts once again after spending some 5 months north in NSW and Queensland. Catching up on things round home and grandchildren had kept us grounded for some time since arriving home.
It was great to be out and about again and the banter and laughs are always a bonus.
There were a few great hides and caches were in surprisingly good condition despite the recent weather. Well done to the COs'
We ran into kbucky and Tiz13 while having lunch in a cafe in Leongatha which was an added bonus on a great day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Stammily.

Found a circle take away container, think it might have been litter though because it was too big for a micro
TFTC! Quiet area with lots of development looking like it will happen in the future. Mrx2 admired the huge sheds nearby!
As we pulled up, there was a muggle standing outside her house, talking on her phone. There was no one in the playground which we thought would at least be one advantage. As it turned out, it didn't matter anyway and we were out of her view when we got to GZ. Thanks for the cache.
After a few days on Phillip Island, I’m heading towards Leongatha and gathering some caches along the way. My GPS hasn’t caught up with the development here so I fell off the map TFTC Stammily
Find 2866
This is the last of the series, except for #10 which seems the hidden spot has gone. Anyway we have all the clues and will wait on J.
Lovely new area being opened up here for housing. A short walk over to find the cache. Found, log signed clue noted and back safe again.
Thanks Stammily, I will return to complete the missing one and the Bonus.

The easing of Covid19 travel restrictions, gave us the perfect opportunity to team up with Suscoe and spend a couple of days caching in sunny South Gippsland, including this find on our mostly "Gatha Day"
We were surprised at the number of interesting playgrounds around town.
Thanks Stammily for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe and Phetlern were caching in the Leongatha area today.
It was a delightful day with plenty of sunshine.
We enjoyed finding a range of caches in a variety of locations.
Thanks to Stammily for this new playspace cache.
Some terrific homes in this area too.

The speed at which new streets appear can be confusing sometimes - I guess we need to update our maps. Once we got there the cache was found and log duly signed. Thanks for the hide.
As we drove into the “dead end” we were looking around trying to find where the playground was!! We spotted it but the coords weren’t leading to the playground and it almost looked like they were leading us past the fence but as we followed them we realised where we were going. Dad says he found it first but I was the one who said it out loud so I say I found it TFTC Stammily
PS: we did not find the cache on the ground like the last log so don’t worry!

Best part of 5km from our house on the other side of Gatha to this cache but the walk was good exercise for us & the morning was perfect. Cache quickly found in good condition.
A cool wet and windy day meant that the playgrounds are quiet enough for me to search peacefully especially here found quickly signed and replaced...TFTC stammilys
This was a dead end for me at first as I somehow dropped the pin on the wrong street! Approaching GZ was easy and a quick find was made. Returning it not so much as when I was rolling the log a few cars came by for no apparent reason! I hope the playground keeps the beautiful green rolling hills in view when the development is completed. Thanks for the cache
Tassie expat and I saw this series had come up and made the (regional) drive up to make a day of it. This one I thought would take us longer. The maps on Google hadn't updated, and I thought we were in for a bush bash walk, but in the end it was only a couple of steps from the car. Lots of farmland being turned into white picket fences around here. Thanks.
Out with frmen1 on our COVID restrictions observed geo-hunt. Our plan was to target this series for today and that will leave the rest of Leo for another day. There was only one place that this cache could have been. There has been a huge felling of cypress trees in the paddock next door. Wonder if this will be the next stage of the development. Lots of building work going on. Leongatha is certainly growing. TFTC
The weather was looking good and I needed to get out of the house, with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed out to explore Kurumburra and Leongatha armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region, this is one of the caches I found today. I was glad that most of these were far enough away from the playgrounds, some great hides.
Thanks Stammily for the cache.

FTF WITH KBUCKY
Dad and I were off to get some
FTFS today. We didn't want to hog all 11 of them,so we weren't sure if we would get them all or just couple. When we arrived at the first cache we happened to bumb into KBUCKY who was also out to get some FTFS. So when dad went back to work KBUCKY took me on a mission to get all 11 FTFS in then the end 11 joint FTFS
Awsome park series from Stamily

Ftf with skunk junior (skunk028). Wow, what a day! Starting the day painting window frames but saw there were many new gc’s in town. So I dropped everything and bolted to McIndoe Park with skunk028 arriving at the same time. Decided to join forces and ended up exploring Leongatha’s playgrounds with the best geocaching company. Congrats to Stammily for a fabulous gc marathon with lots of creative, fun, and some challenging hides.
