Quick cache after leaving the room in torrential rain. Follow the goat trail. Tftc
I spy with my little eyeeventually in the right spot! I made a mad decision to drive those extra kms to Leongatha to gather a few caches and visit a local CO who was holding an event and a CITO soon. Now those rain drops are getting bigger! Luckily todays event dodged the promise of heavy thunderstorms. Now I'm some way from homebase at higher altitudes in the NE and finding just a few caches in the hood. TFTC and the FUN.
Found by Mary and David at 12:45. Found easily enough. Inner container has no lid. Our thanks to Stammily.
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Fryer's day the eighteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Cache signed and returned as foundTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
First find in this playground series, thanks.Found with @Ye_Olde_Tabernacle
Bogonghazy and Geo dog. On our way home from a lovely weekend in Foster visiting a friend. Thanks for placing the geocache sneaky hide
Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy after a night with a mate in Foster. Now into Gatha. Took a while, thanks Stammily
Enjoying a day off in Leongatha.Out caching with Sharon14 & [email protected] you hide StammilyLogged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
A day with gwd.aussie and D@geo in Leongatha. This is one of the caches we found. Thanks for placing the cache Stammily
Found with gwd.aussie and Sharon14.Decision was made last night to head down to Leongatha for some caching. Plenty of newer caches for us to find since my last visit. Thanks Stammily
Initial plans for today were aborted so SnipsandCo and I decided to cache in Leongatha. We hit up the playground series along with a few other strays. This was one of the caches we found after a late lunch.
Looked high and looked low but no luck for us here today. Didn't spend too long as it was starting to rain. Maybe next time. Thanks anyway
On our annual holiday in Cape Patterson. With a quick visit to leongatha for an appointment and find a few caches this was nice quick easy find TFTC
Took me ages! But found it! Very well hidden, but when you find it actually seems a little more obvious
19 December 2023 2:25 pm"Are you okay to drive me to my own event?", was the message I woke up to today, otherwise it might be cancelled. With the news that Brains car had had a bit of a malfunction. But Buhfuhguh to the rescue, quickly picking him up and rushing down to make the event in time. All in all was a great little day out caching in this corner that I rarely visit, thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
Found quickly enough, but got threatened by bull ants and had to try to sketch putting the cache back. Coordinates for us almost spot on, and I am pretty thankful for the hint. TFTC Stammily
Found this cache this evening as we walked up from our motel room. It is Approx 7 metres out and still has the original log. Collected clue but we won’t have time to finish the series unfortunately.
Thanks Stammily for the placement.

We spent a bit of time in this spot and couldn't make the find. A Banksia branch has recently come down, maybe its hiding the cache?
Found at 2:35 PM GAFF5 in the company of xambo4u.
This cache was a bit more difficult to locate as a limb of a banksia tree has fallen across GZ. However the intrepid Robyn still went in deep and located the nice hide.
Thanks Stammily.

This one could have taken a while but we were fortunate to spot it quickly.
After a month long hiatus we were back in the game today! We met up with our good friend Rebel Acts once again after spending some 5 months north in NSW and Queensland. Catching up on things round home and grandchildren had kept us grounded for some time since arriving home.
It was great to be out and about again and the banter and laughs are always a bonus.
There were a few great hides and caches were in surprisingly good condition despite the recent weather. Well done to the COs'
We ran into kbucky and Tiz13 while having lunch in a cafe in Leongatha which was an added bonus on a great day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Stammily.

holy moly thought this one was going to be a dnf again i was about to give up the i saw it a i thought wow that looks out of place
Well this one took a little bit of searching. Luckily there were no muggles around. Based on the hint we had a good idea of what to look for. After doeraeme did what he thought was an extensive search of one area, mrx2 went and found the cache immediately- whoops! Glad to have found this one- TFTC!

This one took a little while to spot. It had been raining and everything was wet. Anyway I soon spotted the cache. I have not actually seen this type of cammo before. Something similar but not that. Signed the log, noted the clue and then got stung by a bullant on the leg. A stinger as I replaced the cache.
Thanks

The easing of Covid19 travel restrictions, gave us the perfect opportunity to team up with Suscoe and spend a couple of days caching in sunny South Gippsland, including this find on our mostly "Gatha Day"
We were surprised at the number of interesting playgrounds around town.
Thanks Stammily for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe and Phetlern were caching in the Leongatha area today.
It was a delightful day with plenty of sunshine.
We enjoyed finding a range of caches in a variety of locations.
Thanks to Stammily again for another installment in the playground series.

Once looking a little further afield, the cache was located. Thanks for the cache.
A chilly early morning followed by a lovely day of exploring Sth Gippsland with MrsPapi4506 & RoamingHowie, targetting LGAs, solved puzzles & good DTs.
Took a while before I spotted the familiar hide.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Stammily

The sun was forecast to shine today so we decided to head out South East to explore some uncached territory and maybe climb some trees as well.
Took a while searching for this one. Eventually found it with a slightly wider search radius. Came across this stile of hide only just the other day for the first time.
Thanks Stammily for the cache.

A cool wet and windy day for a Monday so that makes it quiet in the playground which was great for me today searching, found quickly signed and replaced...TFTC stammilys
With my wife off on a 35 km run on the rail trail from Leongatha, that gave 999HK and myself time to collect a few local geocaches that caught our eye.
Our second find of day, and for a change a nice easy one. This was far enough away from the mother and daughter in the play ground not to worry us and with good coordinates was an easy find.
Thanks for the cache Stammily

Another nice playground and surprisingly quiet despite a busy road nearby.
I haven’t seen this type of cache container before and it’s rather neat!

Thought it about time we had a go at some of the newer local hides. Today was a perfect day for it. This good hide took us a little longer but got there in the end.
Tassie expat and I saw this series had come up and made the (regional) drive up to make a day of it. Accurate coords and well hidden, good helpful clue. Thanks.
Out with frmen1 on our COVID restrictions observed geo-hunt. Our plan was to target this series for today and that will leave the rest of Leo for another day. frmen1 had the eagle eyes for this one. I'd been here previously for a cache of old. Road works made getting around a bit of fun. TFTC
The weather was looking good and I needed to get out of the house, with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed out to explore Kurumburra and Leongatha armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region, this is one of the caches I found today. I was glad that most of these were far enough away from the playgrounds, some great hides.
Thanks Stammily for the cache.

FTF WITH KBUCKY
Dad and I were off to get some
FTFS today. We didn't want to hog all 11 of them,so we weren't sure if we would get them all or just couple. When we arrived at the first cache we happened to bumb into KBUCKY who was also out to get some FTFS. So when dad went back to work KBUCKY took me on a mission to get all 11 FTFS in then the end 11 joint FTFS
Awsome park series from Stamily

Ftf with skunk junior (skunk028). Wow, what a day! Starting the day painting window frames but saw there were many new gc’s in town. So I dropped everything and bolted to McIndoe Park with skunk028 arriving at the same time. Decided to join forces and ended up exploring Leongatha’s playgrounds with the best geocaching company. Congrats to Stammily for a fabulous gc marathon with lots of creative, fun, and some challenging Hides. We were lucky some muggles had just left the park. A lovely little area
