A day with gwd.aussie and D@geo in Leongatha. This is one of the caches we found. Thanks for placing the cache Stammily
Found with gwd.aussie and Sharon14.Decision was made last night to head down to Leongatha for some caching. Plenty of newer caches for us to find since my last visit. Thanks Stammily
LOL, when is a stump a stump and not a tree! You will see.Fun find, thanks Stammily
Initial plans for today were aborted so SnipsandCo and I decided to cache in Leongatha. We hit up the playground series along with a few other stray caches. This was one of the caches we found..We kept forgetting to grab the clues, this was one we had to return to after forgetting thankfully we had only taken a few steps.
While staying in Inverloch for a couple of days, we ventured to Leongatha for lunch. Very impressed with the town. Lovely lot of shops and quite busy. Nice easy find. Thanks for the cache
Eventually found it….. hint is applicable!!!
Think that GPSr doesn’t favour the trees!
TFTC and clue.

Thought this was going to be another DNF until I put my hand right on it. Word of advice don't read the hint. It's not there. Log book a bit damp but otherwise ok. Thanks.
An afternoon in Leongatha, collecting a few nearby caches.
A nice quick find here today.
Cache in good order.
Thanks Stammily.

Hint had us looking in the wrong spot for quite a while. Eventually found it elsewhere.
A hot weekend, so day1976 and I headed to a river and waterfall to camp near. The next day we drive the long drive through the plantations to find more caches, and then out into civilisation.
After lunch we continued caching.
No so much of a stump now, as much as a multi limbed tree.

Found with LittleBoss2 after a night at Fish Creek. Thanks for the well placed cache Stammily
The park was quite soggy in patches, but the area around GZ was dry. Found the cache after a short search.
After a month long hiatus we were back in the game today! We met up with our good friend Rebel Acts once again after spending some 5 months north in NSW and Queensland. Catching up on things round home and grandchildren had kept us grounded for some time since arriving home.
It was great to be out and about again and the banter and laughs are always a bonus.
There were a few great hides and caches were in surprisingly good condition despite the recent weather. Well done to the COs'
We ran into kbucky and Tiz13 while having lunch in a cafe in Leongatha which was an added bonus on a great day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Stammily.

Found it!! The clue had me looking at tree stumps, but not hidden near the “stumps” i though
Lots of water around at the moment and couldn’t of chosen worse footwear for today but got there in the end TFTC
This one had us a bit stumped… what was once a tree stump now has lots of new vegetation sprouting from it. Luckily we had a good look around and found the cache. TFTC!
Found after a few minutes. Quite large container. Not exact with GPS. Clue was very helpful. Ivy is quickly becoming an issue.
Find 2856
This one had us in the wrong entry at first. Looking more carefully we walked to the park entrance. Soon we were at GZ and a small search had the cache located. Log signed , clue noted and all back safe again.
Thanks

Found by David in company with pprass at 15:45. Mary and cprass took the day off to check out the local shops. Our 24th and last find on a rainy day during which we managed to stay fairly dry with fortunate breaks in the showers. Interesting camouflage! Our thanks to Stammily.
Found at 3:47 PM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob.
Final cache for the day as we started early in the morning when it was bucketing down with rain and we weren't sure how we would fare, but after 24 finds and 1 DNF we are now on our way back to some comfort and drinkies
Cache was found with some interesting junk camo and the co-ords were spot on.
Thanks Stammily.

The easing of Covid19 travel restrictions, gave us the perfect opportunity to team up with Suscoe and spend a couple of days caching in sunny South Gippsland, including this find on our mostly "Gatha Day"
We were surprised at the number of interesting playgrounds around town.
Thanks Stammily for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe and Phetlern were caching in the Leongatha area today.
It was a delightful day with plenty of sunshine.
We enjoyed finding a range of caches in a variety of locations.
Thanks to Stammily for this hide, we just cant get over how many play spaces that there are.

Wonder if it’s there? Went to the obvious place as good description but no where to be found
Another smiley here and didn't take too long so off to find another. Thanks for the cache. There is always time for one more or two or ... or . . .
A chilly early morning followed by a lovely day of exploring Sth Gippsland with MrsPapi4506 & RoamingHowie, targetting LGAs, solved puzzles & good DTs.
Found after our GPSrs decided to stop spinning.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Stammily

The sun was forecast to shine today so we decided to head out South East to explore some uncached territory and maybe climb some trees as well.
Gps was a little unsettled due to the tree cover. Found it after a short search, not over the fence as my gps was indicating.
Thanks Stammily for the cache.

This series has been around for a while now, but I’ve only found one so far. Today we caught up with Kbucky for The _Evil_Muggle to show her a few tips to build/repair a cache and we had some time in the town to find a few more caches before it got too dark. I chose three in this corner of Leongatha, this being a first. We found a great little park with a great garden and play equipment. Down the back adventure awaits, no doubt, for children and , it turns out, geocachers. Unfortunately the ivy has the potential to become a major weed problem unless eliminated. The cache was quickly found and log signed.

A trip down to Fish Creek for a few days.
I was a bit early, so stopped for a few on the way after I was out of the Big Smoke.
The GPSr was bouncing around a bit, so I consulted the clue. Not a lot of help as the ivy has taken over most of the back of the grounds!
I think I checked most of the possibilities before locating the hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

While in Leongatha just had to collect some caches and decided to target this fun series as I checked out the town. Another lovely park and several places to hide a cache TFTC Stammily
A cool wet & windy day meant quiet playgrounds day, great for me while I searched, found quickly signed and replaced...TFTC stammilys
Tassie expat and I saw this series had come up and made the (regional) drive up to make a day of it. Found pretty quickly using the clue. Thanks.
Out with frmen1 on our COVID restrictions observed geo-hunt. Our plan was to target this series for today and that will leave the rest of Leo for another day. I'd been here previously for a cache of old. Tradies opposite were too busy to take any notice of us. A quick find, using the hint. TFTC
The weather was looking good and I needed to get out of the house, with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed out to explore Kurumburra and Leongatha armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region, this is one of the caches I found today. I was glad that most of these were far enough away from the playgrounds, some great hides.
Thanks Stammily for the cache.

FTF WITH KBUCKY
Dad and I were off to get some
FTFS today. We didn't want to hog all 11 of them,so we weren't sure if we would get them all or just couple. When we arrived at the first cache we happened to bumb into KBUCKY who was also out to get some FTFS. So when dad went back to work KBUCKY took me on a mission to get all 11 FTFS in then the end 11 joint FTFS
Awsome park series from Stamily

Ftf with skunk junior (skunk028). Wow, what a day! Starting the day painting window frames but saw there were many new gc’s in town. So I dropped everything and bolted to McIndoe Park with skunk028 arriving at the same time. Decided to join forces and ended up exploring Leongatha’s playgrounds with the best geocaching company. Congrats to Stammily for a fabulous gc marathon with lots of creative, fun, and some challenging hides.
Kids were playing in the playground, as they should, and started exploring where we were but managed to find quickly before they reached us.
