No luck here today. Even had someone on a balcony across the road trying to tell me if I was hot or cold. I just ran out of time. back some other day.

Finally! I have passed this many times on my bike but today I had the right tool on hand to retrieve. TFTC.

Lo and behold the pattern of one find to one DNF has been broken. I have now two DNFs in a row.
I had in my mind the hint and this conjured an idea to guide my searching. An idea that just did not produce a geocache.
I tried to manifest other ideas but they were as forthcoming as the cache.

Checked this one twice but couldn't spot it

A beautiful day today, but with the sun comes the muggles. We made the difficult find with richlink. Take note of the hint.

Found second time around after thinking a bit differently nice one signed and returned tftf

Found with geokids A and Z and Rainbow Scjaz on our first Geocaching expedition in a while. Coordinates off by about 10m. Tftc

On a day out with Scjaz and geokids. Thought outside the box for this one, may not have found it otherwise. Nice hide tftc

Have to come back with a jumper and a fresh set of eyes.

I couldn’t cap it off and without tools I had no chance.

What a windy day!! Which helps keep the muggles at bay after reading the hint walked straight up to GZ, but it was stuck, tried some other likely hidey holes, reviewed previous logs and found a hammer might be useful, didn’t have one of those so improvised with a heavy metal object hanging close by and VOILA! Cache in hand! Another great hide on this series! TFTC!

The Better Half and I came down to Wellard to visit and then took Gwiber and Gwawr out for a drive caching along this stretch of beachside.

Cache found without problems after reading the previous logs that stated the coordinates were out a bit. Log signed and cache returned as found.

Most caches I am sometimes worried about breaking it or something I think it’s a cache but isn’t.
With this one I was worried it would break me.
Very fun.

Good hint. A little too high for Geo-Rabbit on this occasion. Coords are out a little, approx. 10m. A Tott was needed this time.

Once again, the listed coordinates had us 16m from what ended up being the actual GZ. A helpful resident who lives across the road walked over and told me where the cache was hidden. We needed a hammer to get to the log. Thanks for the cache and to the helpful locals.

Spent a long time looking, mainly under bushes. A lady asked what I was doing, so I told her about geocaching. Couldn't find the cache.

Bit of elbow grease helped retrieve this great hide. Thanks for the cache Buzzy@29

TFTC - found with Bjossi. We loved this series. It showed serious thought about the camouflage. We started at the end and worked our way back, doing more than we originally planned today.

Thanks Buzzy@29 for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 11:28:00. This was my Find 9 for today out of a Total number of 10 Finds and 0 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.

This find brings my total number of Finds to 5211.

Phew we had the right idea but no suitable too. The neighbours came to the rescue with confirmation and a suitable amount of brute force. Way too hot for procrastination!

Well we didnt have the right TOTT with us, but made a mental note to pack one more next time!!

Found with the help of old mate across the road. It was our 3rd attempt this week so he must have felt sorry for us. We brought a TOTT this time which was very much needed. The cache was in one of the places we were going to check once the muggles had cleared. Number 6 in the series stills stumps us TFTC

If I thought there was muggles about at the last one I was wrong. There was twice the amount here! But eventually I could search.

And search

And search.

I finally called it quits and on the way out I checked some alternate spots. One of those yielded a prize that I was fortunate enough to be able to get to without a TOTT.

Once my name was in the log the muggles started again. Timing my run carefully I replaced the cache, but the next finder will likely need a TOTT.

Out with Kapelula on a fine spring day. Beautiful walk along the coastline. This one needed a little extra help so we looked through our boots and came up with something that would do the job and it did! Girl power pow pow pow!

We had to come back with a TOTT to retrieve this one. Found whilst out and about with Geotrakka. TFTH!

After a few days away up the coast chasing some elusive caches that we’ve never managed to get we were back home and decided to cleanup this new series of caches near Safety Bay Rd.

This one took a little time to find, it is rather off theme compared to the others in the series and is also off the listed coordinates. While looking I was approached by the owner of the house across the road who has been rather intrigued by the strange activity of late occurring outside his lounge window, give him a wave as you search, he is now fully conversant with what is up.

Made the trip South to hunt down this new little series.
Creative caches, a couple of which we needed a little help from a friend to locate.
Coords 15 metres out for us.

The most well hidden of the series it took a bit to get the find here today, abandoned the gps and just went with whatever idea jumped into my head I was about to trash the search again when a last ditch effort turned up the cache, again about 10m from where I was pointed.

Unfortunately I was unable to locate this cache today. I will add it to my list and hopefully return soon to claim the prize.

A bit more cover at GZ but the same result, waking away empty handed.

We came. We hunted. We did not find.

The rain probably didn’t allow for a full comprehensive hunt.
