Hunting again with dummy after finally coming back here after 3 years

After a big day walking around up on the high plains doing cache maintenance, I came back down to the lower altitude to do a bit more maintenance on one of ours nearby, and this one was very close to where I left the car.After the very short walk, that I was VERY happy about after the day up on the mountain, I found the cache easily enough, but then again blind Freddy on a galloping horse could spot that sized container.I signed my life away and dropped a TB in that I retrieved from up at Falls, as unfortunately the TB listed in the inventory isnt in the cache.

Quick grab with Mrs Mochila. What a stash! Nice one! Thankyou to Ronice88 and the Landcare group not only for the cache, but for the work they do with others in looking after this wonderful location.

Quickly found with gwd.aussie. We have set up camp at Omeo and have come over the mountain for the day to grab a few caches. Sadly only had time to grab a few local caches before starting to head back over the mountain.

Found this morning with Harrowang and were particularly impressed by this bespoke cache. We didn't have anything befitting to leave in it except our signature, so were sorry to be so ill-prepared. Thank you for another cache Ronice88.

TFTC. Day 11 of our enforced layover in Albury as the Motorhome gets repairs. Looks like we will be here for another week.
We are making the most of our opportunities. Today there was an event in Mount BeUty, hosted by good friend Smittengranny. After the event we spent some time exploring via various geocaches around own. After a bite to eat we headed back to camp in Albury.

An easy close find on a walk within our 5km lockdown radius.

Out for a few laps of Big Hill on the MTB. I've left my non caching friends to do laps on their own and have the day free to ride my own trails. Of course that means the ones with geocaches.
After a very cold start I soon warmed up riding up the fire trails to this one. Now the ride back down.
Ended up at Cranky Charlie and then on the way back to town saw a steep trail heading down the river. Well there were a couple of cache down here so here we go, wow another great ride.

Day 4 of the Magnificent Mount Beauty Caching Festival, with a visit to the golf course and the local swimming holes. I have to say, today was a real highlight with some superb caches on offer.

This was the 10th of 13 finds.

Backtracking from Into the Wood I found my way back to the track and this monster was soon discovered! Lovely.

Took 2 TB.

Hubby, geo dog Roxy and the eldest geo kid drove back home 2 days ago. The rest of us are staying up here in Punkah for another 2 days as there is definitely no rush to get back with all the recent Covid outbreak. So it was geo kid SowaMLE and Snook and also Babcia. We decided to take a drive to explore Mt Beauty.

We were looking for a swimming spot but couldn’t find one until this geocache led us here. Whilst there was a rock pool nearby, the kids decided the water was too cold and we went caching around instead.

What a fantastic cache here. It was chockers full of all sorts of goodies. We swapped one item. The cache and log was in good condition.

We took TB’s “Howard the Duck” and “Gold and Glitter Bear”

We left TB “Fiddler’s Green Lobsrer Boat” in exchange.

Thank you for the cache here Ronice88 It gets a fav point from us. We really enjoyed this cache.

With the geowife away at a sewing retreat and a fine day forecast I offered the kids a trip to either Bright or Mt Beauty for an early season swim. Thankfully they chose the latter so I could finish an Adventure Lab I started months ago and try a few of the many caches placed since my last visit.

Next one on our journey. Sent the kids down one track and I went the other. Hadn’t read the cache notes and so was pleased with a nice large cache. Dropped a TB and signed log and then to catch up with the kids.

#4272 So many many many new caches in Mt Beauty since our previous visit. Spoilt for choice! We had rolled into town at about 10am and visited the bakery first (priorities!). Before lunch we set out to do basically a lap of the golf course collecting caches all the way. This was our starting point and first find.

As we approached gz the cache had already been retrieved by other cachers! Sprung! We met Nordic Ned who was busy recruiting another cacher to this wonderful activity . Very impressed with this 'beauty' of a cache to get us underway for the day. Nice one and TFTC Ronice88.

Nice to get out and about after so long.
The weather was a bit iffy, but not enough to stop caching.

I think this is the third time we have come out to this path, but certainly the shortest walk along it for a cache.

#17432. We are trying to get the few things done that we want to, before School Holidays start today. Seem to have managed this today with a trip to Mount Beauty. Eleven caches done, 1 x 3TF, 3 x 2TF, the last two Wonders achieved (we think) and picked up 2 TB's to move along. A bike ride to make getting to The Junction shorter and a long walk in the rain to get 3 caches on the way to the Gorge. A good day.

2TF today. We are quite familiar with this area now, this being the 3rd visit in as many trips over here. Very nicely done and we scored a 2TF. So many nice goodies in here. I grabbed the TB to move it along and left a wooden letter 'Y". Favourite point left, for the camouflage and nicely filled container.
