Sorry to put a Needs Maintenance on this cache but there is only a wet log book in place and no cache. In fact we found the log book a couple of metres away from the hint location and only by chance. We are on holiday so didnt have anything to fix it with.

24-Jun-24
will maintain this one soon

23-Jun-24
This was our first full day of holiday in the Adelaide Hills. We didnt have a solid plan except to visit a cellar door, so one of the things we picked up which we thought was going to help us out was a cryptic sheet of local markets. I call it cryptic because it didnt actually list dates but freak occurrences and also location names that only exist in Narnia or Dr Seuss books. For example, on the third Sunday of every month with a full moon where the wind blows from the North and your grandmothers bra size perfectly fits on a sine curve then there are markets held on the Yellow Brick Road. Another market was only held in Diagon Alley on every Saturday that begins with the letter Z assuming that the difference between how low or high your testicles hang on the coldest and hottest days of the year doesnt exceed how far you can pee into the wind before getting wet. What this all means is that on the sheet there were markets in Mount Torrens but we could not tell the day, time, hemisphere or planet they were on. We had nothing to lose so came out on a wing and a prayer. We didnt find any markets but we also didnt find a cache. We did find a log book on the ground which is crusty from being out in the elements so we signed it and put in back in between the trees. tftc

I was heading for the hills today to meet up with Doctor Owl and CPwanderer to find some new Adventure Labs in Mount Pleasant and Springton and then pick up the odd cache here or there. We had a great day driving around the area, walking through long lush grass, falling over (me) and partaking of a beaut pub meal to break up the day. [^]

I had left the others and was now on my way home with a few little detours on the way. Big Grin

Parked the car right at GZ and soon found the cache. My last up in the hills and the sixth GSM for the day, pretty pleased with that. Wink

Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy. Smile

First time caching since the Millicent Mega. Life just got in the way. Today, we set out to meander towards Mannum with some trads and multi's picked up and the Ad Lab at Mannum to finish off our outing.

Mary wanted it to be harder terrain and Mark didn't. Mark was right. A nice fresh log book here today, as it has been replaced. This was our closest find to home today.

Coordinates changed from:
S 34° 52.183 E 138° 57.468

Coordinates changed to:
S 34° 52.122 E 138° 57.447

Distance from original: 385.9 feet or 117.6 meters.

The cache was being moved to other locations in the tree, and on a recent visit it was entirely visible, but I could not change it as people were present. Today there was a community gathering which was centred on GZ tree. I have decided to move it to the other end of the sporting complex to avoid this issue, for both me and finders.

09-Jan-22
All good to go in new location.

20-Nov-21
Came today with a previous finder. We had the whole place to ourselves. We searched high and searched low and searched around other spots too - no cache could be seen today.

I will need to check this one. Sorry for the inconvenience

It had just started to drizzle again as we arrived at this location. Thankfully it didn't take long before this cache was located. Unfortunately there was some water inside and the piece of paper supplied recently was saturated. We drained the water and supplied a new logbook in its own sealable plastic bag. Thanks OZGrumpy for the cache.

Fences are down. Cache available. Funny how Cacher’s behave, it isn’t where I put it. It’s on the other side of the tree. Visible. Twice as high. Go figure. Cache on

23-May-21
We should've read Lava12's log before stopping for this one. It's behind a temporary playground construction fence.

23-May-21
Inaccessible at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience

23-Apr-21
I could not get it because it was fenced around the park .

A quick find for a beady eyed Rat.
Had to deploy the extendable legs, to reach the cache. Tftc

24-Feb-21
We thinks this may have been moved as we didn't ecpext to need extendable legs for a 1 1/2 star terrain. Cache is certainly safe. Thank you for the placement of this cache OZGrumpy find number 7407 at 24 February 2021 3:24 pm

A good fun place for a cache. I think our son is part cat

29-Jan-21

Lobbed on by...

Well it seems that unless you're a tall cacher or a cat with good climbing claws, the T rating may be a little deceiving! Wonder if the log from 12/11/2020 increased the T rating slightly as there was another nice place it could go Twisted

All good though. Cache was soon served.

Thanks OZGrumpy for another smiley from this fun cache on our geomap Big Grin

Tennis Tip of the Day: If you walk into a bar dressed as a tennis ball, you’ll be served right away.

"A cache a day keeps the doctor away" - seems legit Razz

Found today with Purrfect Di.

TwistedTwisted 2020 won. it's not over yet! TwistedTwisted
Cool - - cache at a social distance wherever you can - - Cool

Stay away from all the bugs ( except travel bugs of course Razz )
- avoid people as much as you can, they spread the nasty bugs! [:o)]
- go out and place some new caches in our regional areas where it's safer Big Grin

Found the time today to go out caching but with the temperatures forecast decided to concentrate on the many fairly recent published that I've yet to find and hoping for mainly drive-bys. This was one of twelve found.

The great Southeast Saunter down to the Millicent area was over. Twisted Back to my 2020 caching goals. Only one of the three set at the start of the year was now possible and should be complete by Christmas. [^] So pressure off and back to caching when and where the whimsy takes me whilst I ponder some targets for next year. Cool

Today I was headed out to the badlands for a meeting of the Befuddled puzzle solving group. May as well grab a few caches on the way. Wink

A quick find in the obvious spot with not a soul around. Smile I can't believe this was published over two months ago and i haven't been past since then! Surprised

***Thanks OZGrumpy for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin
