Found it with OZGrumpy on a chilly morning grabbing BFE puzzle caches. Didn’t have an elevation device last time. Puzzle was solved a while ago, should’ve read the hint and brought a sharpie.

Found with doineedthis and the little champ. He is so much fun to be caching with, constant support and help is such a nice feeling. We spent some time in the wrong place on this one, then managed to find the cunning hide. I spent some time drying out a section of the chopping board hide, then we applied our stamps resulting in a fine record of our attendance.

Nice hide here BFE, another one where a Sunday find is the best time. I packed away the BIG ladder with only a couple rungs used, and we were on our way.

Thanks for the puzzle and hide BFE, find #8736 at 9.18am. Everything here, there and elsewhere is fine today.

Having come out north to run a few errands, I thought I should at least try and find a few caches along my way home. This was one of many puzzles north of the CBD that I had solved and had waiting for a day I was in the area. Having found a few other nearby caches, I decided to attempt this one as well. Having arrived at ground zero, I parked in an appropriate spot before making my way to the cache. Once there I began my search for the container and it did not take me long before I had the cache in hand. The log was quickly signed; the cache was replaced, and I was on my way to my next find. This was an enjoyable cache and one worth a favourite point.

Yay. Found it. Many thanks for the smiley!

I now have four of the required implements as I misplaced the first two. Was shopping nearby and they were screaming at me to buy them. Someone kindly left another useful tool nearby and put my hand straight on the “logbook” without trying another position. I do love that when that happens.

Thank you for placing it for us to find BFE. Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

A day out with Mattycat to tackle some around the western suburbs some we both needed and the odd one only one of us needed the smilie which helped narrow the search, having solved similar before in a similar area we solved this without any hassles, has been sitting in our solved pile way too long so made the detour to finally add to the found list

Time for another Wednesday Wander . [^] Today we had myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Blackadders as usual roaming around the Burbs in search of solved puzzles and any others that popped into view in our wanderings. Cool

Continuing on my journey back to temporary BFE/REEL/IT'S/AVAILABLE/NIRVANA or BRIAN (now that is a catchy acronym) I had to revisit this shonky location again. Surprised The cache was a quick find - almost like I already new where it was likely to be. SmileSmileSmile[:o)] Adding my stamp I am down to just two to go.

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. Twisted So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. Cool That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]

Found after the PATOG bike series. We had parted ways with Tallbikestan and azzo after finishing the bike series. The rest of us keeping on going for a few more caches. Logs signed as JAMS. Found with a previous finder. Sunday was a good choice to find this cache, muggle free. cache fine.
Out with Tallbikestan, allister w, JJ52, azzo and mogni. Todays target was to do all of the PATOG Series using bikes or power assisted bikes. Getting dropped off at one end and getting picked up at the other end. The only problem we had was the one cache that needed a ladder, Tallbikestan's bike was just too short by about 1/2 foot. Easy found with the ladder deployed. i never got to complete the last bike trail, i only ended up finding about 11 of them. We even had a lunch break about 3/4 down the trail. A fun but tiring day out.

A big day out with sir_spectre, Allister W, JJ52, tallbikestan and azzo (and his Dad). Today we tackled the PATOG series and all caches were found, only a couple took more than a few seconds. Having completed the series, JAMS when for a couple of bonus caches.

This was a quick solve, as soon it was seen.
Arrived at gz, to find muggle workers every where.
So we waked around admiring the product on show.
Soon located the hide.
Stamped the log.
Some more admiring and returned the hide. Tftc

Luckily I had previously solved GC331EC *A Reel Shonky Type*, so I knew the required solving methodology for this one. Sure enough, my suspicion was right, and I had soon solved this puzzle shortly after its publish on 22/12/2020.

This evening after work, I needed to run an errand to the west to drop off something at West Beach. I then spent the rest of the night chasing interesting and target geocaches towards the north, with a few requiring a TOTT to obtain. A nice night out.

There was some construction occurring nearby with the road, and so I wasn't able to get too close to GZ. I sighed, and parked my car just in front of the lollyman, and jogged the 800 m to GZ. It was after hours, so there weren't many muggles about (except for the occasional high fluoro construction worker nearby). I probably repeated what others had done before me... looking in amongst the structure inside and out, but no cache. I expanded my search to the other nearby smaller structures, and I did find a good hiding place, but no cache there either. Confused, and defeated, I made a PAF to a previous finder. As it turns out, the cache was where I thought it would be, but was just very well hidden and a different hide type that even tricked me! Nicely played! The cache container/logbook were in good shape. I didn't bring a felt tip pen with me, but it did seem to accept my stamp ok. Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. This wasn't the shonkiest of puzzles or hides!

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Well, a BFE puzzle that I coulds solve without too many brain cells bursting. The puzzle initially had me stumped but after a little research the memory bakns kicked in and a solution was quickly achieved that the checker liked. Then into the TBF queue until the right moment.
This morning on the way to the office a small detour was made to some familiar BFE territory and a cache was located in the last place I looked which was not the first place I looked. An interesting log was made and returned as found.

Had a couple of hours to spare between events so of course a plan was hatched with locus cache to come and find a few caches in the northern suburbs. [^]

A new BFE puzzle that I had in my solved pile just waiting for me to get out here to make the find and tonight was the night. Big Grin

We had to contend with roadworks close to GZ but we were able to get a park and then sussed out where the cache would be. Found that but as we are both short we had to get a TOTT from the car. Retrieved the unusual cache, stamped the log and replaced as found. Cool

Thanks for the puzzle and cache BFE. Smile

Today was the day to go out and collect all the BFE puzzles that we had not yet found. We were away when some were published and busy at other times. We did have all but one solved. Somehow, we had missed that one so had to solve it as well before venturing out. We added the BFE Adventure Lab to our target list too. As well as the odd multi and traditional. It was a very pleasant day for a drive and while a couple of hides were challenging, we managed to find them all without having to resort to seeking assistance. Quite satisfying really. So once again we have reached BFE puzzle nirvana (although there are still a few non-puzzle ones to collect another day.

Sometimes you get the feeling of deja vu. This one was a very quick solve.
However the find was not so quick as the GPSr was hunting and had us inside a structure for a while searching multiple excellent but emoty spots. We read a couple of logs and changed tack quickly locating what was needed.

I was passing the area and BFE requested a check to see if a cache he had placed some time previously was still there. The cache was found in the last place we felt, which as usual was not the first place we felt. So glad we are not worried by cobwebs and spiders. Aren't they just friendly pets? So glad we are 180cm tall and not a hobbit. We do love your work. We signed the log. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

I am currently on my L-plates and wanted to get some hours up. Today was a perfect day for a big 6h drive mainly on the North Eastern side of the city. Lots of opportunities for parking practise, reversing, u-turns and finding a few of those mystery caches that my dad had solved throughout the year but never collected. Total tally was 18 caches visited and 18 caches found. Most caches were stamped with my dad’s stamp but when there was a pencil available he also added my name.
Thank you to all Cache owners

If that had happened the D/T rating would have remained 4.5/2

While Brad was solving this puzzle from Goolwa, I was at my office in Mawson Lakes...and it was on the cusp of lunch. When I opened the puzzle up I thought that it looked familiar and extremely doable but was wary of a twist appearing. So I entered the numbers and surprisingly got an affirmative from the checker. I jumped into the car for a short drive into familiar BFE territory where the cache was quickly located. Unfortunately I didn't have a sharpie so a usual pen had to suffice for the signing. Just three days out from Christmas a BFE FTF (@12:30) was a rare, and appreciated, gift indeed. TFTC BFE.
