DNF I couldnt find it but I only spent 5 minutes there Im going to try again
The 'stick series' has great containers but takes a little bit of time to find, as we were restricted for time we abandoned it. This series would be great if you had a week up your sleeve to dedicate the time for it. Tftc
Just started out this morning on a trip to Broken hill. Trying out our new Teardrop camper planning to geocache along the way. After setting up camper, headed out for a few caches.Couldn't spot anything obvious here, so read some logs and looked at the hint. We'd been on the right track. Did find something that maybe could be the cache, but no log found. Will send photo to CO to check it out.
Messaged CO, Very prompt response. It was what we'd found, CO happy for us to log a findThanks
Geo hubby messaged the co, we actually found the camo but not the log. Co suggested that we log it as found. Thank you very much.
Came here with geo hubby while staying a night here. Unfortunately we couldnt find it. Didnt want to spend too much time on it as its a bit late already, but will be back one day. TFTC
Found in the wrong place under a rock. Put it back where it was obviously supposed to be.Matches all the favs and descriptions. Here with the Roos.Tftc
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a week or so in Yass, today we headed out after lunch to tackle a few caches. We struggled with parking with so much long grass and not being able to see if there were any holes, and so many were on double white lines further making it difficult. The shadows got longer making the hunt another degree of difficulty, once we had 2 DNF in a row it was time to call it quits for today. On the road again.... homeward bound via Yass ..bye Canberra thanks for your Mega shenanigans..this was one of my cache pitstops on the way home. When Tiz13 tries learning not to take things so literally.... eventually the penny dropped... there was a lot of head scratching though..
In the area with woolwood9 today. ????*We soon had the container found!* ????SL *tm/ww NZ**Thanks for putting this cache out for us to visit*

Canberra Geobash Road Trip 2024. Day Two: Exploring Yass & surrounds. As RoamingHowie grabbed something to move it out of the way, I spotted the cache fly out the end. Just as well. Easy to drop and lose. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Sui_001 ~~
Day #2 Geobashing After arriving in Yass overnight, OzHockeyChick and I decided to tackle some challenges and Wherigos on our way into Canberra. There were plenty of unscheduled stops and diversions along the way to just grab this one.We suspected we knew what we were looking for but lucky OzHockeyChick was watching as the cache fell out while maneuvering and I didnt notice. Be careful here not to inadvertently lose the cache.A big thanks goes to Sui_001 for taking the time to add YassFM to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). We are staying in Yass for the last night before we are arriving in Canberra for the MEGA events 2024.Last year when we were in Yass, it was just too wet to search for this cache. Now with dry sunny weather, we found this cache and signed the log. A fav point from me!Tftc Sui-001
Yass Day 4 0our last day staying for a few days at the showgroundsA large variety of DTs completed today. Suausages, frogs Lizard & challenge caches are included in our trip. This was a great way to visit the area,In the afternoon we did a few caches closer to townThanks Sui_001 for hiding this cache.
Found appropriate sticky but nothing inside. Found under leaf litter after a search and used a paper clip to secure it better. Placed under tree in its hidey spot. Big thanks to Sui_001 for placing this cache. Cache number 8652 on March 15, 2024
Quick find here turned into confusion as we discovered two logs in two different receptacles. We signed one but put both back in the bison and replaced the bison where we found it. Something might be awry with the camouflage. Found with ktbrwn1. TFTC
Found It!I found two caches here next to each other so I signed both.TFTC
A well overdue expedition out and around Yass with prolific cacher Green-Martian. Reasonably early for a Sunday, a cool and foggy Winter's day lay ahead. North over the highway along Cooks Hill Road and branching off onto Blakney Creek Road was the plan. Had touched base with esteemed local CO, Sui, who out of the blue pulled up whilst we were searching for a particularly difficult hide. Graciously he accompanied us a little while longer before scheduled appointments took him away. Continuing on through a now sunny afternoon the well hidden and/or camouflaged hides found without too much issue. A few of them unfortunately eluded us, this time.....we will be back. Called it a day as the sun started to set, another enjoyable and successful adventure. Thanks as always to GM, and all the CO's for their cache placement and continued maintenance.
A prickly search, the cache eventually found after sticking to our initial plan. TNLNSL TFTC

Caching today with IamCoust in Yass and surrounds. This was a real crafty cache, down low, IamCoust came up with the goods. I get the hint. Tftc
Nice find on a miserable day. It kept raining on and off. There was some work going on a bit further down the road, but I was undisturbed as I went looking for the cache.
I spotted the suspected hide and with almost a little pop found the little cache as well. Very nice camo, really well done hide!
TFTC Sui. +1 favourite point.

Catching up with very late logs for caches that we found on our trip in April and can't recall the details
We formulated a plan a month ago to meet up with alansee, mclookers, maccamob micaparamedic, moonb1, muzza and pprass to try our luck at some challenges and also any other series and other random caches that were around before heading to the Rutherglen Mega event.
Thanks to the cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for us to find . We signed as Vic1 to save room in the logs.
This one gets a favourite point from us.

Found with a team consisting of McLookers, Maccamob, Muzza, Team Crackers, micaparamedic, pprass and Moonb1, Today was a mixed day with some very good caches (with faves) some DNF's, and quite a few tricky hides. Many thanks to the Cache Owners.
A great day out enjoying the many caches in the Yass area with VIC1 cachers. Some easy and some not so easy!

Found what we thought was the cache camo and took a photo to sent to the CO. We also looked along the small watercourse in case the cache was washed away. The CO has allowed us to log a find. Thank you very much Sui_001
I found one half of the cache container and recognised it for what it was as I have a similar one, feathertop found the other half, but we could not find the log container. Meeting up with the cache owner later he gave us permission to log it and we signed a new log to be placed in the repaired container later. Thank you Sui_001 - don’t forget to replace it!
Day 4 of my caching adventure around Yass with cyberganv. The weather had improved, cold but the rain had eased up.
We were meeting Sui a bit later so we tackled a few of his hides.
Found the cache holder but cache missing. Logging with permission. Cheers

Today, I am on way home from the ‘2022 Better Blokes Conference’ and of course I decided on caching my way home. However, some of the caches I was going to attempt had road work and farmer muggles at/near GZ plus one DNF. Even though that was the case, I still enjoyed the caches I did find and I hope to be back soon to find the next part of these caches. Thanks so much for the caches I found as they brought me so much enjoyment. TFTC’s A nice quick find at this one.
Yass has one of the best powertrails I have seen (not exactly for numbers). There is so much variety in each of these caches (we don't count the sticks). My favourite hides are ones where you come up to GZ not knowing what to expect. Love them. Got a decent amount of caches today, will definitely be returning to Yass in the future!
Thanks Sui for all the effort put into making all these cool caches for our enjoyment!
That was sneaky... And I didn't know it at the time but I was going to encounter plenty more of these hides soon...

We moved a whole 60km today from Harden to Yass and are looking forward to the plethora of caches in the area. We were set up by lunchtime, so after a bit of shopping and a quick lunch we headed out into town to do some caching.
We found a variety of caches including trads and multis, as well as completing the Adventure Lab. It was tough going at times with some challenging hides and a few DNFs. Also some high Ts that were beyond us!
The weather was cold with a chilling wind to boot, but better than sitting in the van.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Sui_001.

Heading north for another New South Wales family holiday. This time for a week with the entire family. Means the car is fully loaded and no room for ladders and other TOTTs. We have a few geocaches on our 'Want to Find' list, most to help with challenges, and other than those it is just whatever caches that catch our eyes.
Driving past another cache, we saw the CO's name and made a quick double U-Turn and parked at GZ. This time I was on the ball, and quickly found this well disguised cache.
Thanks for the cache Sui 001

TFTC and great. Camo! We truely love finding these caches and the effort that has gone into it. A favourite point from us!
Adjacent landowner a tad curious about bike and person but with a cheery smile I waxed eloquent about no trees like this where I come from! Glad for sticky clue too. What a great idea to stop over in Yass for a few days enroute to our ‘esteemed’ National capital Canberra for the NFF. The remarkable old buildings and stories of Yass’ past have been fascinating- being south of the border I didn’t know much it seems . Cache found in good nic. TFTC AND THE FUN
Travelling through Yass on our way to Canberra for a long weekend, a very well constructed cache, with great camo, seen some caches like this previously in our travels, so didn't have to 'stick' around too long, TFTC Sui_001

Out with LuckyL10n for a run on some of the caches in the area. Had varying success, with a good majority found although we had 3 or so DNF's as well.
Now back into town and no problems with this one. LL actually had it in hand before I was out of the car. Log signed and we were off to the next one.

#13139 - 11:02:00 AM; Out for a run around Yass with Sol de lune to collect some newer caches and then onto the challenge cache trail. We enjoyed varying degrees of success with a few DNFs on the way around, but managed to log the majority of the caches we sought. All were in good condition, including this one. After a couple of DNFs it was nice to bag a quick find here! TFTC Sui_001
A quick find. Thought this might have taken longer, but found after examining the first object. Deserves a favourite point.
Grabbing a few caches before meeting up with some other cachers today , so stopped for this one. I think my luck was really in here because I think it could take a while to find but I managed it quickly today. It is very clever and deserves a fav point . Thanks for the cache Sui_001 tnln replaced as found sl
# 7724 Found with iPlod65 after doing the local parkrun. Third attempt on this cache for me. It was not on the plan, but we just happened to be passing on the way home when we thought we'd give it another try. This time we were in luck.

Staying at Yass for a few days after being able to travel after lockdown. Found it after a search but without the container. Eagle eyes Mrs A also found the container. We met up with the CO who was going to accompany us to some of his more T5 difficult hides further down the road.

With most of our Wednesday night caching crew out with the flu, GLISS and I decided to take the opportunity to clear out some GCA’s and earn a few more battleship shots. On route we thought we would have another shot at this. We got there in the end but it took some hunting, the mud was NOT my friend. Thanks for the cache.

GPS was slow to settle at this location but when it did, accurate coordinates led to the finding of a well designed and presented cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Sui-_001 for the cache. It earns a favourite from us.

Thoroughly enjoying this series, so many interesting caches, with just enough challenge to give that nice find buzz and so far nothing to give gray hairs! Glad we have a few totts that are coming in handy on retrievals. Love the use of natural camo, well crafted again and yet another fav, glad we came with plenty to give out. Tftc

The Day: Lovely weather this weekend and Aquilus and I planned a long overdue attack on some of the new caches around Yass that we had heard so much about and which looked quite intriguing.
After most of Pebbles guests were due to depart midday, that is when we arranged our start. As the days are nice and long this seemed to plenty of time, although we did run out of light in the end but only after we had hours and hours of fun with the new and old caches up here.
We had a few that we were particularly keen on. Burdern of Sisyphus was one of them which we did early on before we ran into Sui soon after. (Just amazing!) And bowning creek was another which sounded super intriguing and turned out to be cooler than my wildest dreams. It was great to have the CO there for this and many other of his caches we did. Not just for the mischievous smiles/laugh or the TOTT that help with browning or the occasional hints he gave (between laughing with glee , but for a very fun and cheery company [^].
Aquilus' company was, as always, very enjoyable and we had an absolute blast with so many cool and inovative caches around. We didn't quite get to do them all, so will be back for more.
This cache: We found this one in pieces and though it must be gone since someone had surely found it. But then we spotted it on the ground and could sign and put it all back together as it was meant to be.
Thank you Sui_001 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

It was a lovely spring day, no forecast of rain and a perfect day to be out enjoying the beautiful green countryside up around Yass. With Flintstone's driving and my company for the day we made our way north to find what we could of the newer caches up around the area, and a few of the older ones as we passed by as well.
We had a number of must do caches, some we had heard a lot about and came prepared with a selection of TOTTS that may help the cause. A great selection of caches greeted us and I loved the variety, with Burden of Sisyphus we hit the challenge early on... I say 'we' but really have Flintstone's to thank for tackling the bulk of what was required through out the day.
I had heard that many of these required trees, its true. However with the right TOTT these are achievable and not difficult to access, just need to spot them first! Lightly camouflaged caches was the theme of the day, some taking a little more time than others, the neck took a stretching with the looking up required! Not all up though and a variety of hiding locations and objects greeted us.
Met up with the Sui through the day and a loan of a TOTT that was useful for a certain cache, we had one that would have worked but this one was, well, best for this location! The three of us made our way around, my logs may be brief as not to spoil what awaits... but the CO has had the enjoyment and knowledge of how they really went!
A really enjoyable day and looking forward to being able to return for the many caches we still have to find. A great effort in the construction, thought and placement of these caches, had us searching but I liked that, its all part of the fun, and well... we do this for the fun, right?! Many thanks to Flintstone's for his driving, navigating, finding, TOTTS, climbing, wading, good coffee and company! Thanks for your cache that led us around on this lovely day.
Very sticky indeed! Found the hide okay, then had to search out a little more to find where the container had gone to, not quite as intended but found non the less!!!
