Logs
No love today! We thrashed about twice, once heading up and once coming down. Must be cunningly hidden!
I didn't know this track was here. Nice spot. Disturbed a slater family! They weren't too impressed! Tftc, santry79.#9991
Finally found and it's residence slaters.
Wasn't the hint , no wonder I couldn't find at first but reading through the logs helped.

Taking advantage of a break in the weather I dragged the boys out for a walk. We missed the entrance to the reserve on the first pass but then spotted it. Considering the reason we've had it wasn't too muddy and while the boys explored the steam I followed the hint. It wasn't until I looked back I spotted the anomaly and soon had the log in hand. It shared its home with a few woodlice and a slug but hurray for water proof paper. Soon signed and replaced and heading onwards and upwards to the next one. Tftc
Was busy looking for a tītoki tree amongst the karamu but didn't need to bother! Google says tītoki was used in alcohol production but now the compound is synthetically produced. Haven't tried it myself. After yummy lunch at Harbour House. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I needed to take the car for a drive to check for oil leaks! There were a couple of newish caches around the head of the harbour so we headed out and found them!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

I was passing through Governors Bay and noted that there was this cache, placed not too far from one of mine, so I made a call to see what sort of a catastrophe the Kaea had caused. Took me a little while to discover the well crafted cache. Gets a fav from me for craftiness
But why oh why do some cachers leave a fresh log in the baggie with the old sodden scrunched log[xx(]. Where are your brains people? [:(!][:(!] I removed the sodden heap.

So what happened to the Keas here? Or were the Keas who caused the catastrophe? I'm confused.
Anyway, cache was soon found, after checking all the wrong places first, of course.
Kia ora! Paldies!
TFTC, santry79!

Another cache found with the lovely coconuts3 - after a bit of a caching wander down by the water.
I haven't explored this bush and shall return for a leisurely walk. Thanks, santry79.

We were out with KotukuSI to find a couple of caches. This is a lovely spot we had never been to before. A very clever cache so a fav from us. Thanks for this cache santry79.
What a great hide, well done! The witch was cackling while I still valiantly searched! A fav from me. Clever. TFTC
Took us a few moments to find and the witch cackled as Busypaws was still looking
Out for a walk on a very windy and later quite cold day. Not sure about the coordinates, which were pretty solidly pointing over across the creek. Eventually read the clue, and then after a bit of hunting realised there was something not quite right, and there it was. TFTC.
Checked the cache, still in place. It is in a new container and very well camouflaged only enough space for a log sheet.
Couldn't find this one. As someone else said the location given was 10m away in a creek and speedwell you don't have to leave the track. There are a lot of trees that have been cut down so I wonder if it's gone missing?
Found at the start of our walk up the Titoki track. A great walk with some excellent views! A good hiding spot, tftc!
We quickly found it,but the Log Book was wet and sadly we didn't have our Geocaching Gear with us to replace it for you..But TFTH
Came over to Governors Bay for a walk and some caching. This one was a quick find at the start of the track. Nice camo! TFTC.
What a view!! Made this more difficult than it should have been. There was the carefully camouflaged cache almost in full view. A special place and one I had not been near ever!! Thank you.
This one took quite a bit of a hunt, as the GPSr was pointing to a creek bed away from the track. The hint was also a bit mysterious. The cache turned out to be at the base of a much more familiar item of flora, rather than the one mentioned in the hint. Perhaps the CO just meant the name of the track. In the end we discovered that there had been no need to leave the track at all. All in order. TFTC!

Well, i think i found it. A small plastic camo container...but it was quite visible and the lid was off and nothing inside. It certainly looked the part! Added waterproof paper and tucked back where i found it but a bit more hidden.
Lovely spot that i havent been to in a while. Cheers.
Added note: Ahh, i see, this was hidden a couple of months ago. There has been some heavy pruning and tree felling at gz which may have disturbed the cache.

Cache checked and rehidden. Originally had a few swaps and a log book but I think they must have been muggled before it was published. I have added a new logbook and pencil and have put in a couple of swaps. Enjoy
