Awsome series thanks watcache,a favorite from us for the series took us on a great journey many thanks
Out with tmann421 after the PN event.Heading towards some of the 20/20 series we have not completed yet.Great drive around the areaSigned log tm/ww NZTFTC
*Out with woolwood9 after attending an event in PNorth.*We had a plan and plenty of 20/20 caches to find! Soon had the container located and log signed: *tm/ww NZ*Thanks watcache for placing this geocache series, we enjoyed the visit.
EtherTom and I are out caching with the help of a pack of direction cards.Normally we use these with Mum to find random playgrounds, but it works here too!Signed as EMATS (EtherMiss and the Seagnoid)Thanks for the fun
Not really an early morning cache - more of a really late dawn. Enough light to not need a torch though. And hey! hidden exactly where I would hide it - up there!---Day two of the 20/20. The Wairarapa side.I set out early in the day with little Ethermiss, and we drove to the far side and started up the hill about right on dawn. Alas it was foggy up there - low flying cloud. So not much view. Again we are due back at 2pm, and we finished early, however Ethermiss had a plan up her sleeve. She brought a deck of cards saying "Take the next right", "Follow a white car", etc. Made for an interesting trip afterwards! We wondered a bunch of back roads generally heading south but only got as far as Pahiatua before it was time to go home.Cache signed as either our individual names or as EMATS (Ethermiss and the Seagnoid)
Last time I was in the Manawatu I had only solved 4 20/20 puzzles so that was all I found. I then solved a few more after that trip. When Isis58 and I decided that we were coming up here a few weeks ago we went into full on puzzle solving mode to get all of the geoart trails in the region solved. Now its time to find them. This is the first 20/20 for today. Thanks for the trail and cache watcache

After completing as many of your Viking series as we could in the last two days Paddle Chick and I have now moved over to this 20/20 series - the second piece of geoart we have in our sights for this road trip. TFTC # 20.026
I couldn't just come up this road to sign off one cache so I did two.
It was forecasted to have a few showers this avo so came up here.
Cheers for the cache, watcache.

Flowerydaze and I got the opportunity to finish this series off with Taybee, TaybeeNZ so we leapt at it with open arms. We signed the logs as "TNZFT" to save space on the log sheets. It was so windy today and it nearly blew us off our feet, but we succeeded despite the wind. TFTC watcache
Talla64 and I had started to find this series some time ago, and today the opportunity popped up to complete the series. So today we were out on a 20/20 mission comprising myself, Talla64, Taybee and TaybeeNZ. To save time and space on the log paper, they were all logged as TNZFT. Thanks for the puzzle, the cache and this great series watcache. We appreciate all the effort that has been put in.
With the Geotour coming to and end soon Yvettetb and I decided to go on a road trip to collect Tahi and Rua. Of course I had some puzzles at various places to collect and a few special types were added to the list too.
Today's plan was to get from Woodville to who knows where but probably Napier. As it turned out we only got to Waipukarau.
We had to backtrack to do the Gorge track forxa geotpur cache but now we were back on this side. Glad to have the chance to complete this series today. This solve was only done in May 2022. A quick find. Thanks for the cache

Our North Island Roadtrip from Whangarei to complete Tahi & Rua of the NZ Geotour - Day Nine.
Lis's crew introduced me to Geoart and we made time today to find some of these 20/20 Geoart caches. Thanks for the puzzle & TFGC and series.

Based ourselves nearby for a few days to complete some of the local cache trails. Great day for a 4WD adventure, no problem with the solve or find TFTC.
Today I did some of the Stickman and many of the 20/20. Was driving the whole day and many km. On the gravel roads it was sometimes hard for my camper. Four times asked me people , are you lost? The weather was great and the surrounding very beautifull and clean. Some of the boxes need maintain but I will not write this because I will not have enemies in NZ.
Thanks a lot, if something special I write it now.

Another Wednesday road trip to keep the numbers ticking over. I've had a list of solved puzzles in this series now for quite a while. Finally got around to finding a few today. TFTC
Started off by picking these ones off and seem to be following the footsteps/tyre marks of my recent neighbours kiwicouple. I came here years ago and there were a series of skindo caches at various altitudes. I suspect at least one cache was a repeat visit to GZ there.
Almost time for a souvenir reset for Signal's battles to free himself from somewhere or another and maybe some associated merchandise might also come along for purchase, or not. Anyway, I've been hanging out for a red-letter day for a clear early morning start and get up Wharite and see what's to be seen, and find a few caches of course. I also had the last few 20/20 puzzle cache solves on my radar, thanks watcache for those. And an overdue return to the other end of the Gorge walk and pick off the geotour cache there. Finally, make a start on some of the solved Stickman caches, thanks mar1sa. Quite a day planned then. As usual it wasn't quite the prolific day as planned, but still found 'a few' as well as an archived skindo puzzle in Woodville which has been sat there for a few years unloved. Thanks so much for all caches found and many thanks to the cache owners for their ongoing efforts.

Today we are heading from Fielding to Wellington via the Wairarapa, but first we wanted to pick up as many of the last dozen unfound 20/20 caches as we could. We hadn't been up this steep gravel road before, and hoped our front wheel drive low car would make it okay. Turned out it wasn't a problem, though we were glad the road was dry (that bare clay could turn slippery after rain). We were also glad to have no other traffic on this narrow road, except for the farmer who passed with a load of dogs on his ute as we were parked at the intersection of the road up to the tower.
We knew how to tackle this puzzle, and had a straight forward find here. TFTC

#12,992. We enjoyed solving this puzzle based in Woodville. Fortunately, the final GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

#21084. This one involved a bit of a clamber, so Troodles left it to me (given her two broken arms are still not quite 100%). Quick find once I reached GZ. TFTC.
Our first full day in Palmerston North, and I was keen to make a dent in the 20/20 puzzle series. We had found a few last year but had run out of time as we concentrated on the SHIELD series instead.
I think the last time we were on this road was back in 2013 when we took the mighty Corona all the way up to Wharite Peak (when I say "we", I mean StreetWalkerNZ did the driving). Today we were driving a gutless rental Vitz and obviously the private section of the road has deteriorated since then as today we had to turn back when the road developed huge ruts. So sadly a couple of 20/20s will remain unfound.
The road was really quiet today - no vehicles, just the baaing of sheep occasionally. The blind corners were especially scary, so the lack of traffic was a relief. TFTC.

Four weeks ago Etherlord Cian and I had planned a trip up to Wharite Peak, but the weather was not the best. Today was a better day with no wind. Thanks watcache for this puzzle cache.
This time last month, Popmac and I had planned to ascend Wharite Peak to do our best Sir Ed impersonation and "knock the bast4rd off!"
Unfortunately the weather deities had other ideas and not being able to see the Ruahine Ranges or Wharite, let alone the transmitter tower, forced us to head to other gathering grounds.
Today was a different story with clear views of the hills and heavens, which gave us a definite spring in our steps. We bid farewell to the EtherMinions (mwahahaha! oops, I mean "Sorry darling") and off we trod towards the turbines. Tally-Ho to the 20/20 caches! (and the archived Skindo's too!)
This was the first cache of the day.
A nice simple find in a likely location.
Thanks for the the trail to reach Wharite peak, and helping me to [reach Denali peak](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2021/11/the-reach-the-peak-leaderboard-resets-on-december-6/)

Since Mrs Rubbishparty is in Palmy for the long weekend we decided to finish off the remaining caches in this series. We’d solved them a while ago and just needed to find the last few. It was a beautiful day and the views were great, even if it was a little windy in some spots, but that is to be expected really! Cache all safe and sound. TFTC
Since we needed to head Palmy way for some farm related tasks, and do some maintenance on one of our caches, we decided to head a little further afield and knock off another bunch of these 20/20 puzzles.
Managed to solve this one reasonably quickly and the find was very straight forward.
Many thanks for setting this series up

It was great to join haydn.seek, edvern and PJMacNZ for an expedition up Mt Wharite today to complete the 20/20 geoart series. Caching in a group adds fun and efficiency as resources and skills are pooled and we encourage and support one another.
The weather was variable - reasonably temperate, fine and cloudy lower down but getting increasingly windy and cold as we ascended, with rain nearer the top too.
The puzzle for this cache took a bit of sorting - getting the correct code and dealing with a few twists. It was the first cache on the ascent today and was certainly well exposed to the wind. It took a bit of a scramble for a quick find fortunately as it wasn't inviting to linger despite the good views TFTC.

We left Palmerston north in fair weather and not really cold but by the time we reached the top destination the weather was some what different . there was definitely no view but plenty of strong cold wind and we were in the clouds . - But we went the little extra distance to achieve the Lab cache right up at the top.
We completed the puzzle caches up these two roads and then made our way back down to Woodville for a much needed coffee or tea and a bite to eat. - very pleased with ourselves having had no DNF and only on that required a replacement cache which E. put in.
Thank you for this trip up here today

Visited with geodatum, haydn.seek and PJMacNZ. Signed the log book and solved retrospectively, thanks to a starter from Mrs geodatum. Solved most of it myself but needed one reassuring phone conversation with Mrs G to sort out some doubts about a couple of pesky symbols. Thanks watcache for this puzzle challenge, it's satisfying to log yet another in this series.
solved these from home
as we were on this side of ranges best to tackle these ones.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Easter weekend is upon us. We’ve been looking forward to this holiday - it’s a chance to take a big swipe at the PWGT2 caches. We’re also keen to pick off some interesting hides and avenge one or two previous DNFs...
We went on a 20/20 puzzle solving spree soon after these were published. Some were more straight forward than others. We found collaboration to be the most effective way to manage those more challenging solves. In the end, about five gave us the most grief, and they were duly sorted by the group...
We had no problem finding a small number of this series of caches today. Most hides were found as described on the cache pages and in good order. The most difficult part was the weather - it deteriorated the more we climbed. Nevertheless, this is a great trail and we can’t wait to collect the remainder. Thanks watcache. TFTP and TFTC.

Another Infoferret-planned roadtrip to the Manawatu with GSEL and myself. This time the target was Etherlord Clan's MGC: Pi Day 2021 event in Palmerston North, and to tackle the 20/20 and archived skindo caches on Wharite Peak.
The last stop for me on Wharite (until such time as I avenge my DNF). Another hike up a bank, and a surprisingly different container . Signed and replaced, then one or two more stops for the others to pick up archived caches.
Thank you for putting out this series, and at some point I'll be back to knock off some or all of the others. All good here, and TFTC

Today, I am working on finishing the 20/20 series. I am now on the Woodville side getting the last dozen. The road is all gravel and steep in places. I hope I can get them all without giving up. TFTC.
On a weekend road trip with Philip.Perry, McJandals and NZFlossy down to the Manawatu. Day 1 we are hitting the 20/20 series then not sure what we will be doing. Most of these puzzles were relatively easy to solve except for about five which took a bit of research. Signed the logs TeamBOP.
What to do on a long weekend. Organise a trip to the mighty Manawatu So here we are. Team BoP on a mission. Cheers for bringing me here.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

?????? Off on another adventure with Team BOP to the Manawatu on a long weekend Great weather and company And lots of different types of caches Day one ???? Using this template but will add individual notes as we go Thanks to all the COs for providing the caches and fun ??????
Team BOP back together after a 3 month hiatus - this time hitting the Manawatu with our sights set on some Labs, some geo-art & everything else that crosses our path ??
We’ve signed our logs as Team BOP to save time and log space and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey so far. Pleasantly surprised that very little maintenance has been required and that most caches have been found quickly & without fuss.
While I am cut&pasting these logs using the Cachly ‘text template’ I do genuinely appreciate the work put into these caches, particularly some of the puzzles. Cheers and TFTC ????

We needed assistance from markhnz for the puzzle, but the cache was a quick find after a bit of a scramble. TFTC
I was pleased to have a day out geocaching with TwigNZ. The aim was to find all the 20/20 geoart puzzles, which we managed. We then had some spare time and decided to hit Wharite, finding a mix or archived caches and current ones.
I really struggled with solving the 20/20 puzzles and have only managed a few of them so far (sorry watcache, I'm relying on TwigNZ's solutions). I did manage to do a lot of the finding though. Most were straightforward finds, the puzzles...not so much. Pleased to find all 20 of the 20/20 puzzles on the 20th
Logs were signed S+T or T+S. Thanks for placing the cache.

A very early start to today, as Stardust718 and I had joined forces to hit the nearby 20/20 geoart series and any other caches that we would be driving past.
There was a kind of symmetry that we would be visiting all these 20/20 caches on the 20th. As usual, the CO gave us a mix of straightforward and challenging puzzles to solve, most of which I solved within a day or so of the series being published, although keener people than I made the mad dash to grab all the FTF's. But I'm glad I waited as this will allow me to get my personal goal of 50 caches for the month
We had been making excellent time in finding those caches we had attempted so far. But now we would be experiencing the more challenging aspect of today, driving up to a location I have not previously visited. I was very glad of the good driving conditions as I made my way up in my 2wd. Not perfect views for us once there, but still impressive nonetheless.
No real problems locating the cache, and no issues with the log which was signed as either "S + T" or "T + S" seemingly dependent upon which of us was doing the signing lol. My apologies for the generic logging but we had a good day out finding all these caches nonetheless.
Thank you for publishing these caches.

Time to Cruise up over Saddle Hill to a high place. A nice quick find on the way up. Parking was a bit flakey in some places, but the traffic was non existant, which helped. Thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today we cruised to Napier. Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Up from Wellington for a day's caching in the region, and I have had this series solved for some time, just waiting for an opportunity to come and get them. A quick and easy find here - signed log, TFTC
A quick park in the middle of the road. Out and about with the LNM1961 team. Signed LE. TFTC
Juty Bug and I finally decided to solve this 20:20 series and did so over a couple of weeks of brainstorming. For the most part these were easy or not too difficult but three required a little direction before all were solved.
With the Christmas rush coming up we took a day trip down to the Manawatu to try and complete at least half of the series as the weather was promising. We easily accomplished this including the caches on the Ruahines.
Thank you so much for setting the series watcache and we really enjoyed the day. We'll be back to clean up those still to do. Apologies for the mainly generic logs.

I have been working on this new puzzle series since it came out and had fun doing so. Lots of easy-ish puzzles and some get your brain ticking. I got down to a couple I couldn’t solve for the life of me so had to a PAF to get some hints to push me in the right direction. This weekend worked well for my muggle hubby and he said ok to a weekend away to come sign them off. 68 finds today and no DNF’s so a good day out! Thanks for a some great puzzle art and let’s hope 20/21 is a better year for us all.
Recognised this font right away so didn’t take long for coords to come to me. Cache was tricky to get to and I changed into gumboots at this stage as I got wet shoes and socks.

Set about solving this series not long after it was published and after a little over a week I had them all solved. Some were definitely trickier than others. With that done, next was to plan when to be up this way to find them all. Today was the third and final expedition to complete the set, and was all on gravel roads (pleased I didn't try them in the dark on the first trip). I love how there's almost always a parking spot right where the cache is, big thanks to the CO for the effort that went into this. All good here, TFTC.
Out on a weekend caching trip with Buttels with the aim of picking up the SHIELD and 20/20 series and mostly solved puzzles along the way. Sorry for the generic log, but most of these caches blurred into each other. There appeared to be three types of caches (power pole, brace and bison) mainly with a few other interspersed types. Found all of the SHIELD barring about 4 DNF's. We plotted a route prior to getting out here to reduce the amount of backtracking on these back roads. Managed to get through the whole SHIELD and 10 of the 20/20 plus a dozen others in the day before it got dark. If there are specifics about a cache, I will write them after this:
Great view earns a FP

Found on the way back down with GSEL. We have had a blast, and in a puzzling frenzy managed to get all but 3 puzzles solved and signed off. Not sure when I will be back to complete the formalities on the others - they are too hard for my humble brain. As ever, GSEL had the better caching instincts here. TFTC.
#8726. Second to log. FWF. Its been a big weekend in the Manawatu. Drove up north on Friday with Infoferret and we have attended four events, done a pile of newly published puzzles and traditionals, picked up other caches in the area north of Ashhurst and had a really fun time. Its the nearest you get to a Mega event weekend without it being officially called. Thanks to mar1sa and watcache in particular for the huge effort they have put into making the Pohangina Valley area a geocaching hotspot. Infoferret and I are slowly making our way back to Wellington now. Slowly as in we have a few side roads with caches to explore and few more puzzle finals to grab. Stopped for a late lunch in Ashhurst and now back on the trail again.
We hadn't solved this one before travelling north. While driving back to Woodville we encountered a fellow cacher who asked which ones in the series had we solved or not solved. We mentioned this was one we hadn't done yet and as we were very close to the final the cacher kindly gave us the coordinates. I am still trying to reverse engineer how those coordinates are calculated. Bit of a scramble up to GZ. Missed seeing the cache at first but luckiiy spied it before we went looking elsewhere. The log was duly signed and replaced where found. Thanks watcache for taking the time and effort to set up this entertaining series of puzzles and create a memorable new geoart series. And the phantom cacher for passing on the information about this one.

The puzzle was a little harder than I expected.
The cache was an easy find though.
FTF.
Thanks.
