I actually qualify for this one.[shazzar66](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=shazzar66) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8Y5YY/53738 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.CLIMB: 131 FLOAT: 200 RIDE: 1000 WALK: 26 SHINE: 27 THINK: 166 LOVE: 89 TFTC, TFTH, TNLNSL & TFTSF
I haven't been able to log too many Challenge caches being still relatively new .. but excitedly I discovered that I actually qualified for this one whilst talking to the CO yesterday over coffee. Woohoo - now just gotta go get it. Well, today I got driven to the parking coordinates and with a suitable tool handy was able to deploy it to good effect to reach, sign and return as found this one.So, according to [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8Y5YY/53738) I have currently foundCLIMB: 37 FLOAT: 18 RIDE: 439 WALK: 15 SHINE: 13 THINK: 66 LOVE: 108 That's pretty cool - never thought I'd do half of that, let alone so many of each. Love this game.thankyou thankyou thankyou for a special find for me on this special day (IYKYK)
Out with Shazzar66 and geofriend for a day of treefishing tree climbing and bush bashing as well. According to Project GC I qualify for this challenge with climb 251, float 106, Ride 1000, walk 89, shine 143, think 847 and Love 207. The cache was found. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks Oz bean counter. All good with this cache and challenge. A favourite from me
I had spent the morning with hubby catching up with Supping friends at Sandstone Point. After we got home, I sat enjoying a coffee at home and when I got a call from Team Benders. It was quickly decided I would meet up with her and Si for a particular challenge cache and that turned into a full afternoon of caching. What an adventure today turned out to be. Lots of tree climbing and tree fishing. A great afternoon was had all round.Hi oz_bean_counter. I have found GC8Y5YY in advance of qualifying. Signed as shazzar66Thanks for the hide.
Logging with permission from the CO.I remember the strawberry farm that use to be here back in the day, I even bought strawberries from there. Today you wouldn't know except for the sign at the entrance to the park, housing development has taken over. Today, I was joined by Seffnjarah on a run around the northside, collecting interesting puzzles and the odd higher DT cache here and there. This cache was one of the primary targets for the morning. We were fully equipped - we had a decent ladder and a couple of gold medal climbers. I had visited this previously in the pouring rain, and decided that a climb then would result in broken bones. However, at GZ, we were unable to spot the prize. I clearly remembered where it was and upon further searching the stainless steel tether for the cache was spotted - but there was no container present. After a thorough search of the surrounding areas and the ground, we called the DNF. This one needs some attention. Many thanks, Oz Bean Counter
Nice day to hang out in a tree but unable to spot this cache from the ground or up the tree. Noted Bedmaker also didn't find it.
A DNF on this one for us today. We looked at the photos from previous finders and could see what and where the container should be, I think it has 'flown the coop'.
The Townsvillians and greencordial went to pick out a few caches that took our fancy for one reason or another, This one was both for a challenge, a decent tree climb and to get a bugbear off of my back. After visiting previously, once at night, and then once more where I wussed out looking at a gap that wasn’t as insurmountable as my trepid mind made out. Mind you, burgo just monkeyed his way up so I just had to, to get this off of my case. He said I’d already done the hard part, and he was right. Looks like I can now concentrate on my bucket list plans.
Thanks oz_bean_counter for placing this challenge for my find # 4484. Qualifying was the easy part, waking up to myself on the climb was needed
Down in SEQ for a few days to celebrate the life of a caching ambassador and a great friend Karicka.
This is one Rickard would have enjoyed. Both for the physical challenge of getting to the container but also the caching memories the challenge inspires. I’ve added some photos of such memories to this log.

Greetings from Ireland! I am visiting Australia for approximately 5 weeks (I was born in Darwin but moved to Ireland at the age of 3. I am now 40 and it's my first time back!)Today I was kindly picked up by Wayn0 who had all the gear any geocacher would need so we hit the road early and spent the day picking off high DT / interesting caches!I qualify for this so tftc![irishalan](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=irishalan) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8Y5YY/53738 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.CLIMB: 60 FLOAT: 19 RIDE: 1000 WALK: 43 SHINE: 48 THINK: 182 LOVE: 525
Out and about with new geo friend, irishalan. This was our first find of the day. I like this challenge. For some reason the memories that flooded in while reading the description were all from Europe. This was probably due to us discussing Europe. I've added a three picture collage. WALK - Significant hike. Geocaching on Mount Triglav. Image of a mountain goat near the summit. THINK - Cache with a difficulty of at least 3. Image of inside a war bunker under a forest near Thionville in France. An unforgettable mystery cache location. LOVE - Cache with at least 50 favourite points. Image of GC40 in Belgium which has nearly 7000 fav points. Big smiles after finding this one! Thanks for the cache and thanks for triggering great memories. Fav Regarding the cache, the o-ring has perished and the logbook has seen better days.

I realised that I qualified for this cache and got the green tick on 31/07/2022. Just over a year later and I make the effort to stop here with Billy. Starting with the hint we spotted out target quickly.
Billy and her mastermind did the route planning with trial and error. She finally got there, much braver than me. Then came the next step, battle of the ants. Bitey ants have made a home. Cache required some firm twisting. TFTC found with Billy91.

We got here after dark hoping to log a find before the end of July as we only had to log 2 more challenges in July for a further challenge, but even if it had been daylight neither of us would have been climbing that high off the ground without ropes. The T4 would indicate it's an easier climb than it would appear from the ground, but in any case the height is a deterrent for us. Logging a dnf as this cache is not one we will be able to ever log.
I look forward to logging this cache in the future. Thanks for the challenge.

We came , we saw, we had TOTT, not sufficient elevation. We too fat and too old. And we hear old bones are brittle. Next time we will visits Coates hire and grab a cherry picker
Sims_family and Dromaniax are on a huge journey that takes them from home in Geelong, Victoria through NSW to Canberra then back through NSW to Goondiwindi, Queensland and then across to the Gold Coast. All towing a massive 12x8x7 foot trailer fully initially loaded and very heavy.
A day in Brisbane without the trailer was a welcome relief aloowing to be able to get to some key caches that we were after
Loads of challenge caches were signed so I am initially putting notes on them all to work out what I actually qualify for.
I will log any later as I qualify for them.
Thank you Orange Crew for the Challenge

Came down for Georodes event and see what other trouble I could find .
This one had been on my to do list since publishing as I instantly qualified.
Fast forward to today and found myself at this location.
Quite a tricky free climb that required sone leaning and grabbing to sign the log, and some monkeying down to get home safely.
I love this because it’s totally useless for a cacher with a ladder and will require a very competent cacher to complete the find…
Thanks OBC…
As noted in previous log.
Log Damp and no O ring on the bison.

Another weekend of rain and I was crawling up the walls to get outside. So I took a drive to see what caches I might be able to grab without getting too wet. Stopped here to scope this one out. Nice placement!
I reckon a ladder or a rope might be needed here. It certainly wasn't a tree climb I was going to attempt in heavy rain.
Thanks Oz Bean Counter

This evening, it was a return back to Chermside to pick up my vehicle from its service. I then arranged to meet nikid1 at [The Bucketlist Challenge](https://coord.info/GC8Y5YY), with the plan of making this climb in the late afternoon, but vehicle servicing delays meant it was a delayed catch-up. Following that tough climb, we called past a few other geocaches in Carseldine, before I returned home.
There was interest from nikid1 to complete this cache, and after she noticed my previous December 2021 Write Note, she contacted me to see if we wanted to make this find together. We had planned a couple of random dates, but either our availability didn't work, or rain put a dampener on our plans (pun intended!). I knew I'd be in the area today, so I came prepared with my 5.6 m TOTT, and thought we'd be able to do this just before we lost light around 16:30 hr. However, belated problems at the mechanic meant we ended up meeting around 17:30-18:00 hr, which meant we were truly in the dark. Nevertheless, we committed to this plan.
I brought with me my trusty TOTT to GZ, and it wasn't long until nikid1 and I reminded one another to where the cache was. That cache certainly seemed higher than what I remembered, and the TOTT was deployed, but alas, it was too short for this challenge cache. Under torchlight, I continued to trace out the best route to get to the cache, and I couldn't see a good way to reach. We ended up repositioning the TOTT to get us up halfway (although I can certainly acknowledge that climbing the tree itself would probably have done the job, as that wasn't the hard part). I then navigated a few more branches, and the cache wasn't too far off, perhaps within 2-3 metres reach. It seemed like a tough couple of steps in making the transition over to where the cache was, without a branch to hold. Of course it was still dark, and nikid1 provided assurances to not do anything silly, and we should just return in the daylight. I was mentally thinking that I could probably step across ok and take hold of the branch there, but returning back along the branched slope without another point of contact may be silly. Without providing nikid1 any commentary on my forward plan, I took the step, and behold, I was at the cache!
I wanted to end my story here, and say the usual... "all were in good shape", but that wasn't the truth. Trying to grasp the bison container with one hand while I provided security with the other, and the darn bison wouldn't unscrew. I then repositioned myself, and then took hold of the bison with two hands, but the container still wasn't releasing, even with as much force as I was giving it! I passed the container to nikid1, who ended up using pliers from her car to open it - seriously, the container only needs to be hand tight, and it looked like it had been significantly tightened from its last visitors (the o-ring had also deteriorated). Unfortunately the logbook was also damp/soggy. We then spent another 20 minutes trying to pass the container back up, and after a few throws from nikid1, we had the idea to use a fishing TOTT to pass it back up, and that worked a treat! The descent down was still scary, but we managed to safely get back on the ground. A tough T4! Thanks oz_bean_counter for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Oh my what an adventure!!
I have been and looked at this cache twice before. Once by myself. Once with another cacher armed with a ladder. Both times I had to concede defeat.
I put a watch on this and noticed that Davidwazza had visited and had also left without a smile.
So today was the day we decided to go get this one together. Third times a charm (or so they say).
We had arranged to meet up at 4. But life gets in the way sometimes so it was closer to 6 (& dark by the time we got there).
The area looked more pruned than I remembered from my previous visits. But the cache again was very easily spotted from the ground. Davidwazza got out his longer than my ladder and set it up. Up he went but then there was the problem of how to get from where he was to the cache. While I was suggesting we come back in daylight so not having to juggle a torch as well, he hopped and jumped (well maybe not) but had made his way to the cache. Then the dramas and comedy of errors began.
The bison has lost its O ring and as such we just couldn’t open it. In trying the metal split ring broke as it was very rusty. Bison dropped down to ground level. DW was left in the tree as I tried and tried but just could not get the bison to budge. I went back to my car grabbed the pliers and finally managed to get into the bison only to find a wet log. Managed a scribble on the log (even with my good GCing pen). I placed a small zip tie through the bison to replace the broken split ring.
Up the ladder I went and threw the cache back to DW. Not sure if it was my great throw (?) or bad catching by the man balancing 5m in the air but we watched the cache fall back to earth. Down the ladder searched the ground in the dark. Found cache, back up the ladder. Take 2. After take 4. We decided we needed a new plan. Off to my car. I didn’t have any rope but I had a plastic tape measure and some plastic strips. I tied these together and then to the bison. Back up the ladder. 3 failed throws later and when I got the “rope” snagged on a branch I had an epiphany. Tree fishing! Back to the car. Tied the cache to my fishing pole and passed it back to DW.
Then it was time to get him down safely. With my guiding from the top of the ladder we had him back on terra firma.
All in all I think this took us about an hour. Definitely a comedy skit could be made of our antics.
As for my favourite caches. Well it’s stories like this. A bit like my FTF on GC9G1DG.
Basically I love an adventure whether intentional or not.
Luckily qualifying for this was a lot easier than the find so a smiley it is.

We came along today to find a selection of challenge caches with ilook4geo. The checker was run here and Project GC says we have found large numbers which more than cover what is needed here to fulfill this challenge.
Unfortunately we are not as agile as we were in our younger years, so the climb was ruled out and the 5 m tool was not long enough to reach the cache, so we just had to pack up and head off to something else. However we were approached by the neighbour who had seen people with ladders at this tree before. We explained the basics of the game and he was happy to know what was going on here.
Thanks for this cache go to oz_bean_counter.

Found this cache with goingplaces2 and Project GC says I have found enough caches with the required attributes. The only problem was they it was too high for me to reach.
After MummaBear66's house flooding we happened to be staying a hotel nearby, so we knew we had qualified for this challenge a month or so ago, but DFC had broken his wrist and was unable to make the climb until it healed. So today he wanted to make this climb. We starting to walk over to this park to find this challenge cache after picking up DFC from work and we decided to go sign this challenge cache So, we set out to find this cache to turn it into a yellow smiley face.
Before leaving the accommodation we read the description, hint, confirmed the difficulty and terrain and pervious finder logs. We set off to walk over towards the posted GZ for the search to commence. Princess1005 was directing us to where we needed to go. We started to walk towards GZ, we were discussing about where this geocache could possibly located. This challenge cache has been on out radar for a long time as we were only one off qualifying.
Absolutely love this cache hide and the very well urban camo, used to hide this cache. The little beauty of a cache container, its urban camo and its logbook are perfect, nice and dry.
Thankfully after good tree climb DFC had the cache in hand within minutes, and we added our little ink mark to the logbook.
While JLK and MummaBear66 headed back to the geocar to start writing this log.

Found with Peppa, Catboy67 and Tangothief.
Peppa had several target caches in his sights for today seeing as it is school holidays and Catboy and his friend were available for a day of adventure. Now, Catboy has a certain skill set that Peppa is more than happy to utilize (work smarter not harder), and I'll always tag along as the driver.
On approaching GZ a scan was made by the team and the cache located. Now that IS rather high up - but not too much of a challenge for Catboy. Up he scampered with Peppa looking rather nervous the whole time. Log dropped down and signed now to get it back up and in place. Peppa was masterful at the throwing and hit the target after a few tries. With Catboy placing the log back in the cache (a little tricky one handed) all he had to do was make his way back down. All up a very challenging cache but with the right Team anything is possible.
My most favorite thing about caching is hanging out with friends, the car rides, the chats, the lunches, the snacks, meeting other cachers. Good Times.
Thanks oz_bean_counter for placing this cache.

With a ladder in the car and a teenager who has zero fear of heights we’re concentrating on tree climbs today…
I’ve actually been here once before to have a look and knew exactly which TOTT I would need to bring along… Catboy67…
Apparently this climb was slightly out of his comfort zone… I know I found it uncomfortable and I was on the ground… having attended the lofty heights, the log was sent down… getting it back up there though… that took some broad thinking by the team… but up it went… several times… but we got there in the end…
Favourite caching experience… Road trips… Kayaking(never thought I’d do that)… getting my butt up (well halfway up) a tree using ropes… Climbing the odd hill… they’re all good, but mostly it’s about spending time with friends, both old and new and enjoying the shared experiences…
Thanks oz_bean_counter… while swatting flying vampires I’m pretty sure a fave point fell out here…

This evening, I took a short drive over to Carseldine to grab a few geocaches, in preparation for the wet stormy weather that will be affecting Brisbane later in the week.
This was to be my final cache visit for tonight, and I wasn't exactly sure what was to be expected here. I took a walk in this little park, and then investigated the rather large fig (?) tree. After following the directions of the hint, I soon spotted the cache, high above me. So I came, I saw, and deduced that I shall return with a ladder TOTT to see if it could assist with my retrieval. Thanks anyway oz_bean_counter!

Thanks for the cache and taking us here oz_bean_counter. Finally!Glad to have my name on the log. Enjoyed the adventure.
We had run this one through checker some Time ago to see if we qualified, and all was good.
It was then put in a pile to consider finding if we were in the area at some point in the future.
A few weeks ago, after some kayaking in some of northern waterways, we took a short detour on the way home to have a quick look for this one. It was dusk, and up high, we thought we could spy something which was nesting in a tree. Could this be the geocache?
In the fading light, we decided to give this one a miss and come back another day.
Yesterday, on a mission on the north side, we decided to head back to GZ and give this another go in a good daylight. The weather was good for a tree climb, and, suffice to say, we found the challenge of this cache to be a lot easier than getting to GZ itself.
Mmmm… that was a high climb, and definitely not very elegant. There was definitely some adrenaline happening and the heart was beating a little faster than normal.

Just time for one more cache today as darkness was nearing and this one seemed more or less along my route home.
Thanks for the parking coords which were way better than trying to do something tricky on a main road.
I strode into the park and admired the tree before looking up as suggested. I saw something a little unusual up there and hoped it was the cache!
I swung into action and only when I was about 1m from the cache did I get a little nervous. After a moment to settle down, I kind of lay down and wiggled toward the cache, thankful that it was now within reach.
As is often the case, the trip down needed particular care and attention but I think I made it without too much damage.
TFTC and the most challenging climb I’ve had for quite a while.
I have many geo-stories to share: some of the best are found on my public list of “Caches that nearly killed me”. You may like to check out what happened to me yesterday by way of example!

Found at 8:48 AM GAFF1.
Orange Crew kindly helped out here by providing a better TOTT after yesterday's attempt.
This was a lot easier, but do you know what happened when the container was accessed? It just came away without any effort
It seems that the previous finders didn't bother to actually screw the container back again as it was barely attached by half a thread!
It is now attached by one thread [:o)]
Thanks oz_bean_counter.

We stopped by to see if we could get to this cache and after a bit of mulling over and including getting a 3.85m ladder into the middle of the tree, it was decided that it was not worth the risk and we pulled the plug with just a 2 metre gap to get to the cache

***COsI'm catching up on my logging backlog, some of which I'm embarrassed to say goes back quite a few years. It started as a series of unfortunate events and went from there. ??????????????Anyway, better late than never!????To keep my stats in order, I'm logging the caches I've done on the date that I actually visited them, not the date I'm logging them on.??Apologies for the late log.?? ************************************Out signing challenges with hatzofff, RoddyC, Snickersallan and patrol14 today. This one was quite a challenge to get our names on the log! Our TOTT wasn't quite up to the task and we couldn't see a way up without it so after a bit of head scratching it was off to the local equipment hire place. We returned with more appropriate TOTT and many hands made light work of getting it into position and keeping it there. Snickersallan was the one who went up while we clung onto the ladder.CLIMB: 87 FLOAT: 163 RIDE: 1000 WALK: 13 SHINE: 34 THINK: 356 LOVE: 186TFTC??
Out today with RoddyC, hatzofff, Snickersallan, echocage1 and GrannySmith1947 to find some Challenge caches.
This one was the hardest to get to as our usual TOTT was not long enough to safely get to where we needed to be. Some bright spark (not naming names), suggested we could hire a longer TOTT that would do the trick.
A phone call and a 7minute drive and we had our TOTT on the roof of the car. Back to GZ and with much toing and froing we managed to get it close to the cache.
With many hands holding the TOTT, Snickersallan ascended the lofty heights to capture the cache and sign the logbook. Once back on terra ferma, it was back to the car with the TOTT and returned to the hire place. That was the hardest earnt Challenge ever.

After looking at our individual grids over the weekend, it was set into plan to visit the challenge heartland. With some qualified and some not far off, here we are.
What a challenge. A challenge to get a challenge.
Off to get another TOTT as our existing one was not suitable. It needed the six of up to keep it under control.
Now to check my qualification on this one.

Well without sounding repetitive by RoddyC's log, this was the hardest T4 tree I have ever tried to climb all along thinking I was going to be swooped by something from above at any minute, lol. Most of us had a go at climbing this tree but just couldn't get a decent leg up to the last part for the log retrieval process. After exhausting most avenues and taking our safety into consideration we decided on a more suitable ToT that would reach to greater heights...and that was what I would call our real Challenge for today.
A great cache guardian who appears to be very alert and well fed, a favourite point from me and naturally I am still alive to tell the story.

Well, well, well. We arrived at GZ and thought long and hard about how to retrieve the cache. How could anyone get there? Who could get there? How could they get back? Is it really worth it?
Having answered the last question in the positive, we then had to define ourselves into the others. We tried the TOTT. Too short on the ground. What about trying it from within the tree itself? That didn't work either! Eventually, we decided it was just too hard: we didn't have the appropriate tree climbing skills in our group today.
Plan B is now hatched. Off to Kennards. How do you explain to the hire hand for what you needed the requested implementation? Yes, it's a two storey home. OK. Will 8 meters do? Should be OK. So off we go.
Suffice it to say the cache was soon in hand. I am just so thankful no neighbours were around to view today's "cirque du soleil". This photo just doesn't do the performance justice!

seems i qualify for this one, kids lets go get it , hmmm.
Out and about collecting school books for the eldest child and I suggested we do one cache which was just around the corner. When I told them it was a tree climb it was all systems go.
I had my nephew with me as well today and he loves a tree climb to (age 11). We pulled up at Gz and wondered over to the tree, a look around and I soon spotted something that was “nailed to its perch”. A scout around to find a suitable way up and the kids were off, leaving me below to supervise and make sure things were in hand. All was going fine till this one section, the nephew who knows all continued to shimmy along the branch and could just reach the cache. He then ducked under a branch and got further up and to a more suitable sitting position. With the log passed down and then signed to was a relay event to get it back up to its hide. With the log replaced and cache all set it was then that the tears started “I can’t get back down”. I let him calm down and asked if he was comfortable and ok sitting there and that he wasn’t going to fall. Ok, now for the rescue mission, I had to climb up and get above him so as I could haul him up out of his perch and onto a suitable branch to make his way down, this was no easy method as I had just two points of contact and in my head I remember my training saying always three points of contact.
Anyways drama adverted and we all managed to get down safely and without major incidents, just a few scraps and some embarrassment. On the ground and it was all laughs and giggles and the comment from all kids was “I thought we were going to need the fire brigade”, how funny. At the time it was a little concerning but these things are set to test us, lol.
So a good tree climb, one differently not for the faint heartened, there are some tricky parts if your climbing up using the branches.
Thanks OBC for this one, one to put in the memory bank as moments to remember.

1MinnieMoo was in need of a cache today - so I suggested this one.
We had been previously.. and yeah... that kind of climbing isn't going to be done by either of us. So 1MinnieMoo and I visited with a TOTT.
After debating how we should approach it, 1MinnieMoo mad the climb. I wasn't particularly pleased at the bend in 1MinnieMoo's TOTT as she approached the cache. But thankfully she managed to do the deed and get the log signed. On her descent, she appeared to bring down a million mosquitos with her. A nifty little Challenge. TFTC oz_bean_counter

4/1/21 Find #4488
Fangsoki and I turned up at this one a few weeks ago as the day was coming to an end. After an initial attempt, retrieval was aborted, and the decision was to save this for another day, bringing along a useful tool.
Needing a cache other than a traditional, today was that bucket list day. A dash to the shops in Abigail, who happened to have the required tool loaded inside already, then a detour over here soon had us lugging our tool back to GZ and assessing our approach.
Soon all was set and we had an acceptable approach set up. Then it was time to make the ascent and soon enough logbook was in hand.
There is a sign here that suggests swooping magpies. I can assure you I did not find any of the swooping kind here today.

On the way there I remembered I still needed to grab this challenge cache, so we parked at the neighbouring garden place and walked over towards GZ. There’s only one place this cache could be so I started looking up and eventually spotted the cache sitting up high on its perch, it’s a bloody long way up, Eeek!!!
From the ground I’m trying to suss out the best route up, I could see a few scuff marks from previous finders, so I started there, as I got higher I could see more scuff marks, so I followed them all the way up to the cache. Once there it was easy enough to open and signed the log without dropping anything, I replaced it then started making my way back down, but as soon as I moved I slipped off the branch I was standing on and grabbed what ever I could that was in reach, but unfortunately it just so happened to be one of the branches the cache was attached to and the damn thing snapped and the bison dropped all the way down to the ground, you have got to be f****** me!!! In the process I also hit me knee, luckily that stopped me from falling out of the tree. I’ve tried to fix the cache as best as I could, but could do with a looksie to make sure everything is ok.
My favourite cache that contributed to this cache? I would most certainly say this one, but it didn’t help towards this challenge since I already qualify for it. Hmmm, let me think... Possibly the EVIL series at Pomona? Some of those mysteries are pure evil hence the name. Yeah, I’ll go with that.
I’ve contacted the CO regarding this mornings mishap and they’re fixing it later today. I’m truely sorry.
Thank you for the challenging climb that turned into a nightmare and thank you for the fun challenge. This ones getting a FP for sure.

After spending the morning on Neglected Mountain, I was keen to come visit this challenge on the way back home with Slow Puncture so that at least one of us could call for help if the worst were to happen
During a rest break while climbing up that horrible mountain this morning, I had some phone service and saw a log from Nayfee which said he had fallen while climbing here this morning, and indicated that the cache might have been damaged or removed.
On the way back I got in touch with the CO who was happy to join us so she could do some maintenance on the container, and she showed us a better climbing path than the one I attempted the other day.
Glad to check this one off the bucketlist, we qualify we the following finds:
CLIMB: 306
FLOAT: 372
RIDE: 1000
WALK: 119
SHINE: 74
THINK: 961
LOVE: 174
Adding a fave point in return for more challenges please

Challenge #233, find #9329 @ 15:12
Thanks oz_bean_counter for giving us a reason to visit.

Sunday. Almost home now from our excellent adventure all the way back up Neglected Mountain today and Mr OC (who already had this cache), mentioned that the cache might need attention and that maybe it was in an easier spot to grab. Well, we made a quick phone call to the CO and met her at the cache. After a scramble up the tree (definitely a T4), I let OBC take charge as she was already up there. I was starting to feel like a nanna nap. I definitely have a lot more to cross off our bucket list, and a new To-Do list is in order A path up the tree is easy to spot and there are plenty of branches to grab on to. Dropped a FP at this spot before I left to come home. "Slow Puncture (LJCC) fulfils challenge The Bucketlist Challenge (GC8Y5YY), according to https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8Y5YY/53738".
This was the 10th of 10 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***oz_bean_counter*** for showing us this place

Was excited to see a new challenge come out, and saw we qualified for it ok. Headed to GZ and started looking about, then saw it way up there and started heading up but thought better of it. I like a tree climb as much as the next guy, but this required a couple of leaps of faith I wasn't prepared to make, gotta be at work tomorrow and all that.
Looks like its going to remain on the bucketlist for a while [v]

This was an exercise... I came to GZ on a bike and parked at GZ for a few minutes trying to spot it... no success, so lets go up some branches and check from there.... still no luck. After climbing in either direction I decided to ask the CO for support and received immediate help. Puh.
I tried to line up the hint which reality and after another 10 minutes I was able to see it. Back up and I was lost again.... at the end I finally found the container in a blind spot. Quite hard to get the tube back on the lid with one hand but I made it.
Nice tree climb, which was by far more challenging than the challenge itself. Fav Point.

I noticed this go live whilst out of town for the day, and noted it would be a nice little early morning saunter ... apparently with a little bit of upper body workout as well. Well, I probably should have had a coffee before trying it since I clambered all over the place before the target was spied (thanks for the pointer). Phew. No issues getting to it, a lovely spot.
Now, this is a challenge, so do I qualify? Yes it turns out I do. That's good news. And as requested I have included a note on my favourite (or one of many) for each part of this bucket's list.
1.CLIMB - 173 Finds many favourites but I shall choose [M.C.B.C.](https://coord.info/GL6TZTY9) as the best due to the comradery with Team B that day and the ingenuity required to achieve the finale.
2.FLOAT - 143 Finds and again many of them favourites, but can't go past [Herbz Challenge - Our Backyard](https://coord.info/GLG8786R) for all the amazing and challenging hikes, planning, weekends, all the many people (Fangsoki most notably) who were part of that journey. And the rain that finale day was also noteworthy.
3.RIDE - 2770 finds, wow so many but I know most of them I achieved sans-bike ... I think [X](https://coord.info/GCXY8P) is a worthy pick here as it challenged me so much physically, and mentally given my bike was suboptimal for the terrain, but with so many good friends on this ride it was so so much fun.
4.WALK - 83 finds, surprisingly a lower number given how much I much I crave this attribute (seems about half though got FPs from me, so that's telling). [Aussie Peaks - Unnamed Peak I stands out](https://coord.info/GLMEGJYF) for the amazing trip with mates, all we achieved that weekend, and to snaffle a FTF in the Snowy's pipping a hound from up the road - pure icing on the cake.
5.SHINE - 84 finds, and I love a night cache. Cannot go past [Black Ops - Carpe Noctum](https://coord.info/GLP4F8FY) as I think my all time favourite of favourites, but also very special mention to [Beeware "The Night Cache"](https://coord.info/GLE5CJT4) ... both had such ingenuity, and attention to detail and the experience. And the sheer effort that Carpe Noctum takes to complete is mind blowing. And both celebrated with my Geo-Sister and family which is fantastic.
6.THINK- 521 finds of these dastardly puzzles. This CO has a few contenders in recent times, and a couple contenders already mentioned in this log, but I think the one that gave me the most satisfaction was [Where Eagles Nest](https://coord.info/GLPMQX7H) for the elegant puzzle amazing location and the fun that I had that day (even if all those with me were less excited to be there).
7.LOVE - 263 finds, but I shan't go past my find #1[Fore!st Ranger](https://coord.info/GL3PV281) because that's where I discovered Geocaching, the adventures, the challenges, the obsessions ... and the people.
Seems I love the people that Climb, Float, Ride, Walk, Shine, Think and Love with me the most. Thanks for getting me to revisit all the experiences I've outlined above. A FP from me for this great challenge.
Thanks oz_bean_counter for entertaining me at this location.

Staying on the Southside on the weekend & missed the opportunity to ftf. But had a chip at it today & thought it a scary climb. But great cache, ta
Today, I was out for an unexpected day of fun with IolantheK and T-tech to search for a variety of caches. It was a much needed afternoon of distraction in great company. This was our last find for the day and the most difficult to locate. While T-tech did the hard bit up the tree, IolantheK and I searched from below for all it was worth, getting sore necks in the process In the end, we resorted to calling the cache owner for advice as to where we should be looking It is actually quite easy to see providing you are standing in the right spot

Out this afternoon with T-Tech and Just a Trifle.
Last one for the day. We all qualified, so it was a must do cache. No problems reaching GZ, but oh my word, there's a lot of hiding spots. T-Tech did the hard yards, but despite him BEING UP and trawling all over it, and JaT and I LOOKING UP and getting neck aches , we were unable to find the container. A call was made to the CO, and that helped T-Tech to narrow down the possibilities, and eventually he made the find. Gotta say my poor eyesight let me down for this one Glad to make it a smilie. Up on the Sunshine Coast grabbing a few caches with Selva Girls and CuriousQuest. We pick up 22 caches for the day. We had lots of fun today. Sorry for the generic post. TFTC. *3824* Finds
This cache came out while I was caching on the Sunshine Coast with Brislions and Me CuriousQuest. Heading home, we checked and there was still no FTF, so we decided to check it out as we all qualified for this challenge. I parked the geomobile and as we strolled to GZ, we spotted someone. Green Gekkos was scratching around looking for her car keys which she had dropped. I made a quick find of the keys. Now for the cache. Hmmmm......there it is! A plan was hatched and our names were soon in the logbook. TFTC

Out and about with swearah today with the goal of reaching 1000 finds by the end of the day. As we finished up lunch we saw this one come through. With a green light from the checker we jumped in the geo mobile to see if we could grab this one first. We looked and looked and finally spotted the prize but couldn't quite reach it. We put a call out to a friend in the area to see if we could swing by and borrow a ladder. We returned with said ladder and the find count at 999. Once back at GZ we were greeted by a few other cachers. With FTF off the table we settled for second to find and headed up with the ladder. What a great cache for the 1000th find cant wait for the next 1000 tftc
Jodsta83 and I were just shy of 6kms away when we saw this one published so we made our way to GZ quickly and started the search.
It took a loooong time to spot the little blighter. Now to get to it!
With no luck, I contacted the muggle brother in-law who lives close by (and is fascinated by this geocaching thing we do). We stopped in and grabbed a ladder to hopefully help us with the harder spot we couldn’t navigate.
Back to GZ with ladder and rope, we discovered we’d been pipped at the post. So close!! Not to worry - it’s still a great cache to mark jodsta83’s 1000th find!!
We stayed and chatted to our new friends for a while before finishing our day on a high note. TFTC, oz_bean_counter

{*FTF*} Well today was a pretty crappy day to start with. Spent last night at Canungra in preparation for a 20km hike. Turned my phone on to find l was needed at work. So a nights accommodation and three and a half hours driving wasted. This cache was published while l was at work so didn't think l had a shot at all. The checker turned the right colour so l decided to go out. Who can resist a tree climb? Turned out l climbed it twice because l dropped my pen. Yep, I'm an idiot. Was very nice to meet a few cachers as well. Especially when one found my car keys which l had also dropped. Yep, super idiot. Loved the cache placement. Doable but not super easy. Thank you so much. You made my crappy day great.
