Waking up to overcast skies and the occasional spot of rain, we decided to just cache in the local-ish area today. A tour of back country roads and small townships. Not a big number day but the quality was right up there.A bit of a bonus finding this area today while out and about. Would not have found it if not for caching. No mud today - hard and dusty. Thanks to all CO's for their placement's.#9356
Spending the day in Kapunda netting grapevines and stopped off here for a cacheA quick find, stamp and returnTFTC
Found it! Was happy to find this one after a DNF at the last one! Rock provided the perfect seat to sit and sign the log. #213 TFTC!

This is where mogni's car got turned around. we were not going down there. quick find.
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.

The JAMS crew went on an October long weekend adventure back to Clare. We brought Tallbikestan along as we were targetting the bike tracks and he is the best rider amongst us. Allister W and sir_spectre we the other main riders, with JJ52 and I the support crew and walkers. A huge weekend of fun and adventure was had by all, until I made SS sick with my cold....oops.
Thanks to all those who have kept not just the bike tracks but all the other caches alive for us to find.
All caches signed as JAMS.

A fun day caching with JJ52 and Michells&hound finding caches in the area. A lot of churches and cemeteries were visited. I ended up with about 50 finds. TFTC locus cache
Today was a big day out of caching with part of the JAMS crew today it was JJ52 Allister w and myself.
We met up at 7.15am and headed off on an adventure to the East of Clare. We targeted cemeteries and Used2B churches.
All up we found around 50 caches each as well as a bonus FTF on an amazing cache at Spring Gully.
It was a fabulous day and we all had a great time. It was interesting to visit some smaller off the beaten track historical towns.
Thanks to all the CO for putting out and maintaining hides for us to find.
Thankfully not wet today so roads were fine. Another Al find. TFTC Locus

A caching day had been organised with Michells&hound and allister w to head north and find caches that all three of us hadn't found. It was a great day for caching and we had a lovely day driving on some out of the way tracks and roads, through some of our quaint little towns visiting lots of Used 2B Churches and historical sites. We even made a smallish detour to grab a FTF in Spring Gully Conservation Park.
We had fun on the back roads today, lucky it was dry so we didn't have any trouble getting to the caches on our list.
Thanks for the cache locus cache.

Time for another Friday Frolic for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. We gathered at the Rat Nest and myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats headed out for a day of caching in and around Kapunda. Except for one cache that is currently off line we managed to find all we looked for. As usual there were a few laughs, a picnic lunch and these are the caches we found [B)]
We did indeed go down there and found your cache. To be fair, the road was dry!
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks locus cache for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Why Not!!!
After finding the cache signing the log, Mrs frog wanted to check out the track so off we went, very dry, rock hard and raised dust were our only problems today we went down and around to a dead end road then back and down even further, Mrs frog had a big on her face enjoying a bit off off bitumen driving

Thanks to locus cache and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Found during a day out caching in the Kapunda and wider area with Freddo and Team Waldron. We signed our names in full or abbreviated to F.F.TW in caches that none of us had previously found, and in full when one or the other (various combinations) had already claimed on a prior visit. A total of around 40 finds for each of us today, plus 5 for the local Lab cache to clear up a nice area on the map. Thanks locus cache!
Dry as a dog biscuit today. The cache was found in the only place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

CPwanderer managed to drive up and then down there, as we drove past the presume parking area.
No sooner had we pulled up, that we had an unknown car park behind, but not near.
Pretty sure we were being checked out, so we stayed in the car.
They very slowly drove by and down the road, only until they pasted the bend,
did we feel it "safe" to leave the car to look for the cache.
A quick ascend & search quickly locate the cache.

Failure of the 5 P's doctrine would have you using this road in it's entirety on a winter's day.
Only mud I got was on Vogt, and that was only a splash.
Needless to say I didn't use the road in it's entirety, and went out the way I came in... mudless.
Thus saving from chewing up the farmer's road needlessly for a smiley.
Quick find with spot on co-ords.

It was very tempting to go down there but in the end I turned around and went back the way I came. Would be a bit embarrassing to be late to a locus cache event due to getting bogged...

Yes it seems hard to believe... and maybe that's why this cache that was published in the morning on a rainy day was still there to be found after dark
Mud, rabbit holes, the stuff great caches are made of. (And nice views if you come in the day time!)
We picked a way in... there was still a bit of awesome drifting even in the 4WD as the much welcome rains have set in!
It was prob the best way in, but yes, care should be taken to chose wisely
A nice place to turn around, on a road with an interesting name, and a container that wasn't a mint tin... yep that's a fav
The paint had only just dried on this one, and the added camo was doing a great job.
Enjoying caching the regions, staying covid safe, and unbogged.
