This was nufrat and my second full day of caching around Oamaru. We really enjoyed the many trails that got our numbers up. TFTC.

Sometimes you have a nemesis cache.. this is one of them, I have been here a couple of times and just could not find it... But today is different.. managed to change it into a smiley .. cheers
Had a look around at the hint item this evening but no find for me as I think as it hadn't been found for a while the grass may be a bit too long for a good look in finding a smiley.
Day #1 of my 11 day holiday and heading to Christchurch and Akaroa.
Planned on bypassing Oamaru with a detour through Weston to grab a couple of caches but then last minute decided to change route to hopefully turn a frown upside down by the gardens.
This was a fun road to come along and just the kind of cache I love...offroading out in the country in the glorious sunshine. Don't think I've ever come across a washover well not one of this kind how different is this from a ford I wonder???
Pyp's Cache was quickly located safe and sound in its hiding spot TFTC coops64

Great to have a few newish caches to find in the area as we slowly make our way home to Christchurch after spending Labour Weekend in the area. TFTC.
Going for the last 50 in a day haul for my DGSc challenge. A bit wet today. . This is number 4.
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on a wee South Island break. Today we headed home, after a crusie around some back roads of Oamaru. We also met RaynPengi on the road too, so we stopped to say gidday. Another great day.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

There was a dead sheep with its head under the gate about a metre from the cache. It was so fresh that it was odourless and could have been asleep apart from the position and flies around the eyes. Hopefully the farmer will find it and remove it within a few days. Apart from that there were no problems with the cache.
Another productive stop on the way to town (note to myself, long grass and open sandles mean wet feet!).
But hey a smiley makes it worthwhile
Thank coops64
