This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.

If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Heading up to Bundy for a few days and finding some caches along the way. Some sad history behind this one, of all the things Childers is famous for, this is probably the one tragic event most remembered.

Cache found several metres from where GPS indicated, near the bougainvillea.

Childers
Arrived into town this morning & have set up our caravan in the camping area.
This morning we caches in a circuit around town, in the afternoon we found the ones close by.
Following the historical trail it led us to places that are of importance to the local area.
Read a previous log which helped locate the cache.
Thanks for placing this amazing series halez1993

I couldn't find this one a couple of days ago Red Face
The GPS pointed to the corner,
and despite widening the search,
I missed seeing the cache Razz

Surely it was still in place,
so I was back this morning for a stroll by of GZ Big Grin
I already knew what I was looking for,
and soon caught sight of the merest glimpse of the camo.

Very well hidden in the grass it was Razz
Logbook signed !!
That clue needs tweaking though !!
The spiky plant got a good grip on me T-shirt !! Big Grin

TFTC.

(FTF) On my way home from a very successful 2 days in Hervey Bay and saw these so as I had to come through Childers any way why not do them now. I found this one fairly quickly. For some reason I am having a 6 meter discrepancies between the posted co ordinates and where I find these hides from halez1993. You do not have to be in the spikey plant but close.
TFTC halez1993 and Hanlea.
