Been here before, but happy for the excuse to come back. Great spot for a cache, favorite for us. Tftc.

03-Feb-24
Lovely walk.

Today we walked from Gerringong to Kiama on a beautiful, mild summers day.The scenery was spectacular, and there was plenty of breeze blowing today. We found this one very quickly along the way, and then continued back on the track for a walk. Thanks GreenZenDomsky

Finally today I was able to do this walk again from Gerringong to Kiama (Werri Lagoon was a sandbar today- no wet feet) and finish this one off. It was missing last time and after a short search in the new location I nabbed the cache. Thanks for an excuse to do the walk again and clear that DNF! TFTC!

1043 for the tribeOut on a 12km walk from Kiama station to Gerringong station that ended up being 16.2km due to my miscalculations and caching side trips, this cache being one of them! We didnt stop for all the amazing caches en route but that leaves us a great reason to come back in future - there is so much to see here! This cache is an amazing spot. Amazing and beautiful patch of bush imagine what it used to be like before logging. cache and logbook in great condition. SL and replaced as found. Previous logs were helpful in making the find. The whole tribe had a great day with coffee ??, lunch, sugar swimming ??? , amazing views, the occasional whale and a good workout with a train trip back to Kiama Thanks GreenZen for the cache!

Met up with friends to tackle the Kiama Coastal Walk. Found a handful of caches throughout the day. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their hides.GZ was bouncing around under the tree cover. Eventually made the find slightly further down from the obvious rock feature. TFTC

Enjoyed the walk to GZ from Werri Beach at Gerringong this afternoon and finding the item of interest was a real bonus as we had no idea what to expect.
The coordinates were fairly accurate and the container and contents were in excellent condition.
We didn't see any snakes today but did come across an echidna while we were there.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining the Geocache GreenZen not to mention giving us a reason to come here

03-Sep-23
Had to bail because we found a snake instead!

28-Aug-23
Thanks for the cache, 5 people and 2 dogs

27-Aug-23
We wouldn't have ever seen this location without the cache. Thanks for pointing this out.

Which rock?

25-Jun-23
Wonderful view

But don’t worry, I’m sure it’s there. Staying at the nearby Dovecote, it was a shortish walk. Using the phone, I’m never confident that I’m in the right place. Interesting location though

Tftc. Great view on the cliffside, although definitely dangerous haha

22-Dec-22
After spending far too long searching here last time for something that was missing, it was nice to have a quick find today! Wicky always enjoys the walk here, so much room to run off leash.

Cheers

Found with Slowfox, Firstfox and famished fox whilst walking Kiama to Gerringong. A bit blustery but stayed basically dry until we got to the crossing. Then it was a different story as it was waist deep so everybody had to shed some layers to make the crossing before getting dressed again on the other side. TFTC

Found with aspitbiker, Firstfox and Famished Fox on a lovely walk from Kiama to Gerringong; including a fun fording of the river at the end.
Nice and sheltered from the wind at GZ. Great views from the ledge a few m to the right but be careful.
Tftc.

In the area for an extended weekend to watch the Road Race World Champs. Nice that the southern entrance for this walk is now accessible.

A pleasant stroll to gz and a quick find. TFTC GreenZen

Coordinates changed to:

Distance from original: 29.6 feet or 9.0 meters.

The tree the cache was hidden in has broken and fallen down

I have moved the cache location as it's hidey hole has been ruined.
I moved it away from the main path and I also replaced it with a larger container.

Chalk this one up as a very disappointing DNF. Waded across the Lagoon at mid tide. Walked through shin deep mud. Searched for half an hour without success. Came back and waded through the Lagoon, lapping at my belly button. It was a great walk at least, and Wicky's first time on this brilliant trail.

Next time...

Thanks. Nice views

28-Dec-21
It was some sort of an adventure

06-Jun-21
Noooooo

08-May-21
I thought I would be right here today but no luck. Phoning a previous finder who gave a pretty good description also didn't help- leaving one lonesome cache on this walk now!

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Great location.

Coolest GZ I’ve ever found. What a view and what a landscape.

31-Dec-20
I've lost count how many times I've walked this track because of geocaching. Today was another one of those times but this spot had something that said "this was worth the walk". Its a lovely nest of trees with a semi formed path through the trees and a spectacular view at the end.
The cache was found easily tucked in its hidey hole. Thanks for my last find of 2020.

14-Dec-20
This sure is unfortunate considering it was only updated yesterday. We looked everywhere but we just couldn’t spot it. Absolutely amazing view though

13-Dec-20
Went to check on the cache today, and yes it was missing.
Not sure how jazzyshizzle found it when it wasn't there!
Replaced the container and hid it in a different spot, 1 metre away from original position.
New hint...
Lean in, then look in.
Happy hunting!

Followed the trail. Followed the hint in a number of spots. Found swag evidence that there is or was a geocache here, but no geocache was found.

Amazing location though!!!

30-Oct-20
Great hiding place!

10-Oct-20
No luck here, although I was very hot and tired by the time I arrived and didn't give it as much of a search as I usually would. After finding a couple coins, a peg and few other things in a little log I decided to give up as I wasn't sure if this was remnants of swag or not!

Oh well, next time!

Thanks for bringing me to these great views!

Feeling a little adventurous, Yarffa and I decided to hit the Gerringong to Kiama leg of the coast walk. A nice quick find with a gorgeous view. TFTC

Went for an afternoon walk at low tide. Lagoon no barrier. Quite cool nor-easter. As got close saw a couple enter the zone so waited. Noted the name of the cache so virtually went straight to it. Santa Clause found it yesterday. An enjoyable walk with many others doing the same. Thanks.

I’m travelling to Wollongong for some training this morning, knowing I was early I took the opportunity to do this cache.
I jogged/walked to and from GZ, not leaving my run too late.
Soon the round trip was completed and on my way.
Nice one to do early in the morning.

Saw this one published just before finishing work. Easy decision to go for an afterwork walk. For time reasons decided to start at the Gerringong end. Today this added at least half a star of difficulty as the lagoon is opened up to the sea due to the recent flooding. Had to walk through the water way above comfortable knee height! Once past this obstacle it was a great afternoon walk with spectacular weather. I have walked, run, ride my bike and drove a car as well as a quadbike along this track! Cache itself is a very good hide in a spectacular location. Happy with the {FTF} as well.
