Worked through the steps and came up with a word that certitude liked. At GZ, there was one likely hiding spot and there was the cache. A bit of a reach for me (usually I leave these ones for StreetWalkerNZ, but he was lagging behind), but managed to extricate OK. Thanks for something a bit different and TFTC.

Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 9. The day for a trip into the city for a caching day has rolled around. We started off moving the cars to near the target caches, but at one point we went into a car park by misreading the charges and it was better to walk from there. The City was no where as busy as on a weekday, but there were still lots of people about. I had visited a lot of the caches before, but we had a great day. Today's team was Gliss, NibletRiceCakes, Barb2e, Kitty Katch, Joolay and Albiad33. We signed as SALI-24. Once we had reached then end of the day we went back to North Adelaide for a bit of a sit before heading to dinner at a great pub nearby. I then headed home. I have had the chance to solve or work out many puzzle caches before this trip, and that has given us a very wide selection of caches to choose from. The first few caches were in North Adelaide, and it was great to find the cache here. Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy45719.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Gold Puzzle Yellow A#69**Albida**

Finally time to be in Adelaide and we arrived a few days early. We set up camp in Walkerville and settled in for a few days.Today we opted to stay home and out of the heat but after an early tea it was still pretty hot so we headed out for some night caching - not something we usually do but it made for an interesting experience. Thanks for contributing to our holiday.

19-Jan-24
Having come into the city for the final day of the Adelaide Test, and with play unlikely to make it past lunch, I decided to spend the rest of the day caching in, and around, the city and North Adelaide area. I had solved this cache some time ago and, ever since then, I had sat on this solution just waiting for a day that I was in the area and could attempt finding the cache. Having finally found an appropriate place to park, my made my way to the cache. Once at Ground Zero it did not take me long to have the cache in hand. The log was signed, and cache replaced, and I was on my way to my next find. Find #8345, at 02:06 pmTFTC Smile

Cache #11432
Decided to take the afternoon off from what needed to be done and go caching instead. Headed west with the main aim being two newish trads plus any Used 2Bs and GSMs that I managed to go past, also found a puzzle that was just too close to ignore. This was one of fourteen found without any DNFs [^]
Another nice hide and another one in this nice series ticked off.
Thanks to OZGrumpy for this cache and the rest of the series.

We fumbled around with this puzzle for some time before we got some ideas but not a complete solution. We contacted a previous finder and they were able to fill in the missing links. Sunday afternoon appeared as good a time as any to go to look for this cache as the traffic was at a minimum. We were fortunate to find a park with a few metres and the combination of a accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks OZGrumpy for a very enjoyable puzzle and the cache.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
This puzzle caused me no end of grief, mainly I think as I was overthinking it. Opened it, tried lots of things. Didn't work. Shut it down again. Then at a recent event I got to spend some time with a previous finder who gave me a hint that helped them. As we wandered along the Doh moment hit and I realised that the method here was pretty well identical to one of my own puzzles. Well, that night at home the checker finally liked my answer and revealed the coords for GZ. Phew.
This morning on the way to the office I made a small detour and parked nearby. Wandered to GZ, and having researched the location using the geocachers friend, I spotted the cache from about 10M away. Love it when that happens. Extracted the log, stamped, and returned all as found.

Since publication I have had several experienced cachers suggest that the D rating could be a little higher. I have increased it from 2 to 3 as a result of this feedback. Thanks to all for guiding me on this. Cache on.

05-Jan-21
Somehow we missed this one’s existence until today.
For a “simple” puzzle it took quite a while to find the solution. And even though I have seen this ///anomaly before the low D rating led me astray. This seems possibly true for others too judging from other logs.
Certainly if you do select one of the more commonly used websites you will struggle to solve this. I would suggest you avoid the box.
At GZ it was found in the first placed checked. Love that.
Thanks Ozgrumpy Smile

OMGosh.... this has taken me ages to get to. Its all about sneaking by on the way home from work at night. The puzzle, well that took me equally as long. And required the COs assistance (thankyou OZGrumpy) I found a few tennis related ways to try to solve it, very intricate I might add. I thought I was being very smart, but, no..... the answer was actually simpler than I thought. I learnt a few new 'lessons' too.....

Anyway, how about that container, bet there is a few going around this time of year, and perfect size for geocaching, not the intended use. Love it, another favourite point and many thanks OZGrumpy

We are getting used to routinely recognising /// in puzzles, and the instructions made deciphering the final location easy. We also got lucky there as despite this being Sunday brunch time, we had GZ all to ourselves. GPSr playing up a little offered too many solution but switching satellite view on the phone lead us straight to the prize Smile TNLNSL TFTC

Only one of the three set at the start of the year was now possible and should be complete by Christmas. [^] So pressure off and back to caching when and where the whimsy takes me whilst I ponder some targets for next year. Cool

Today's whimsy was a Wednesday Wander with a couple of members of Befuddled puzzle solving group in search of recently solved puzzles and anything else that presented itself. Cool

The puzzle was worked through on a recent puzzle night although I has solved it much earlier when was first published. Wink That done the solved puzzle like so many other joined the long list of solved puzzle caches waiting to be found. [^] Today was that day and the first problem was finding a park near to GZ. Second problem were the windows down the street. When we passed by there were certainly people inside but from GZ we couldn't be sure if we could be seen or not. Twisted We took the chance that not was the answer and soon had the cache in hand and duly stamped. Smile Triple checked which side had the magnets before replacing. You wouldn't want to let it fall!! [:o)]

***Thanks OZGrumpy for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

After attending the Puzzled by Puzzle? event the penny dropped. It didn't take too long to narrow down the options, and a viable option in Certitude revealed the coordinates. Found on my way to the Castaways event today. Thanks for the puzzle and cache OZGrumpy!

I looked at this about a week ago, and was starting to think that GSM was evolving beyond my capabilities. But then Freddo and Friends had a puzzle event last night and I suddenly realized that I could probably do this one. And here I am! Thanks for this series OZGrumpy, keep up the great work.

Owl was heading home from the TOTT event and realised that due to the vagarities of the roads in Adelaide she'd have to pass close to this cache (more or less). Having solved it at the Puzzled Puzzler night on Friday it seemed a logical step. A short walk and a familiar hide presented itself. Game, set and match!

25-Oct-20
Found with JJ52, allister w, and Mogni. Logs stamped as JAMS. Found after the TOTT expo - A Community Celebration Event. JJ52 had solved this puzzle and wanted to make the find on the way home. We stopped and looked and made a quick find. Not to many places it could be.

25-Oct-20
\\\ looked familiar but just couldn't place it. Some targetted research and voila things became very clear.
The extra hint has made things a lot easier for the solvers since...

It took me until today to get to North Adelaide but after the TOTT event this was a logical detour.

25-Oct-20
After attending the TOTT event close by I joined the JAMS team (JJ520, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) to head out and find some caches that needed various TOTT's. [^]
We had finished with our TOTT cache finds and as we were in the area I asked if we could come and find this one. Big Grin
It had taken me a little while to work out what the first part of the puzzle actually was, and it was something that I have become quite familiar with, so once that was done it was fun working though to get the green tick. Cool
We made the quick find at GZ in the only place it could be. Big Grin
Thanks for the puzzle and cache OZGrumpy. Smile

I was with a small group of Geocachers just after the geocache had been found, and yet we struggled with the puzzle. It felt easy enough, but we didn't have the right thinking to solving and using the clue. We looked for different combinations, and tried some of those, yet discounting some of those other combinations since they didn't seem plausible. Eventually, I had the eureka moment, and the /// appeared to work, with the coordinates quickly falling out of place. It is a puzzle that on one hand, to not overthink, but it was a "good" little bit different puzzle than the usual rigid stages. I also see that the hint has been expanded now since solve, which should also make it a little easier.

This morning whilst in the area for an early birds event, I decided to detour past this location. I do remember visiting here some time back for another geocache, but I couldn't remember exactly where that one was, and so during the drizzle, I searched around, until finding the nicely hidden cache location. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks OZGrumpy for the puzzle, cache placement, and ongoing maintenance.

1st glance at this new addition to the tour left me perplexed.
Opened the cache page a few weeks later, on the laptop, I then knew where to look! Solved quickly after that, without over-thinking it.
Stopped by today for a quick set completion.
Now just have Goolwa as the outstanding match (for now).

Nice day for a cache hunt near the city with Mr Froghoppin.

Out for a days exploring around North Adelaide Big Grin picking up some solved puzzles and info for some multis and discovering our TOTT's did not help in some locations Sad. Having completed as many as we could do today it was now evening and time to head home but we noticed we had not solved this one yet, had a quick look at the puzzle looked straight forward tested our theory all fell into place and we had a set of coordinates for GZ, managed a park opposite GZ and a nice hide, now it was definitly time to call it a day

After assisting Freddo with a lot of that over-thinking, it took someone else to get us back on track. Quite a simple puzzle once you know how it works. Interestingly, GZ is only about 20m away from where I found my first Adelaide cache many years ago. I guess that one's been archived now...

I had a quick look at this puzzle last night, and although something looked vaguely familiar I hit a couple of dead ends. Today, after an afternoon caching in the western suburbs, I sat down to log my finds then thought I’d revisit this one. Suddenly I knew what was familiar and the answer soon emerged. Headed to GZ and despite a bit of difficulty extracting the cache from its position, the log was signed. FTF. TFTC
