With all of yesterday's and today's rain, there was lots of water about, and the adjacent river was running quickly today. An interesting structure of wooden sleepers (of which I just understood the geocache's name), and I must have got lucky as I put my hands on the cache fairly quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and well-themed/disguised. Thanks [Que Sera](https://coord.info/PRFWTKP) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance - Favourite Point.----------Today's plan was initially only the coffee event [It's Kaffee Time - Summer is Here!](https://coord.info/GCB06VR), and then see how the weather fared.Following the event, we were notified that a new cluster of geocaches was to be published within the vicinity, so after returning home for lunch, baby Cottontail and I took a drive. We started west to Grovely, followed by heading north to Warner and Bracken Ridge. By this time, it was raining cats and dogs, so we started to head home when the grey clouds cleared. We thus continued our adventure through Virginia and Banyo, stopping off at playgrounds and geocaches from the *Ban-Yobbo* series.
I had been on a bit of a trot on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail - so I was feeling somewhat sore. But I wanted to get this cache - for a Challenge.I parked up about 450m away and made my way toward GZ. There was an interesting crowd of people in the area today. The kind of crowd where you put your phone in your pocket and keep your eyes peeled. However, nothing unsavoury occurred and I made my way to GZ. I soon spotted the clever prize and signed the log. I put the log back in carefully and rehid the cache as found - before moving off.A nice little walk in the area today. TFTC Que Sera
came to check on this cache and found the cache with no lid and eventually found the log book after a bit of a dig. Fixed and ready for a find. Happy gocaching
Tricky spot! Currently swarming with ants so a little tricky to get at. Rehidden. Thanks for the hide!
Looked for this one a while ago and had no luck. Planning on finding this next time Im in the area.
A pretty fun little cache. I think the container has unfortunately cracked. Maybe time to upgrade! TFTC! This is find number 437Signed log as KOPHD
I arrived at gz and spent a good 15 minutes or more looking for the cache. I was about to make a PAF when I spotted it at the bottom of the sleeper and about a foot along. The gap wasnt big enough for my hand so it took a lot of poking with a stick to get it out.I needed my tweezers to get the log sheet out which I signed and then left the container in an easier place to extract, as most other places meant that it would fall down a hole or was too visible. Tftc
A short walk brought me to GZ for the aptly named cache. A quick find in the first place that I looked. The log was signed and the cache returned as found. I was then quickly on my way again. TFTC

24/7/2024 Find #7100Wednesday wanderings out and about with cosmonaut97 today. And after time at the movies, we decided to grab a few nearby caches before our day was done. Getting close to end of school time now, we managed to grab a parking spot near the school and take a bit of a walk. At GZ, I went to try one end but cosmonaut97 was successful at the other end. A shame there isnt a plaque here to complement the old sleeper. Thanks for the cache Que Sera.
A nice comfy spot to sit and watch the world go by. Found during Wednesday walkies. TFTC.
Arrived at GZ to find a quick find. The little blue wrens were flitting around. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Que Sera. All good with this cache.
In the area targetting a small group of caches for a challenge. Enjoyed the walk to most of the caches. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches.
Was out this afternoon doing a number of caches and this was one of them. Walked to GZ and after a short search the cache was found. Log signed. TFTC
Walked to GZ from the station and spotted the cache straight away. Nice and dry. TFTC
Shazzar66 and I try to get together on e a week after work for an hour or two of caching. Ths afternoon it was Shazzar66 who led the way. She was on a mission to find a pile of Ad Labs. Who was I to disagree? We started around Nundah, and continued to Northgate, then Virginia before having to call an end to the day. This was an unexpected find. I had assumed that we would only find Ad Labs, but we parked nearby, found the Ad Lab waypoint and then were walking past this cache, so I had to make the find. It had been raining a fair bit, and everything was damp, including my hands. After spotting the cache, I found the log container hard to get out. Shazzar66 has fingernails. I dont. I had no chance, so I passed it on to Shazzar66, who took a fair bit of time but was able to get the log sheet out eventually. I had a TOTT in the car but it was too far away, with my muggle-hubby waiting for me to meet him for dinner.Log sheet was signed with Dup,Thanks, Que Sera, for the cache. Nice to meet you on the weekend. Now I can put a face to the name.
What a busy train line - 3 trains went by in the few minutes we were visiting. Cache was easily spotted. Log signed with 2Wag. Thank you.
Out early before the renovators continued their kitchen devastation. Dropping off a moving big pieces of furniture TOTT at the son's house nearby, dropped down here to grab the 3 Trads on offer and before the rain continued to get my grass to green up / grow. With no one around checked out the vertical sleepers then went delving elsewhere. Spotted the shat all glossy and perky, like it had just been laid. No flies protecting this beauty only a few brave mozzies which were slapped away. All good here and thanks for highlighting this spot Que Sera.
Just riding past and noticed it was missing . replaced it with something that hopefully muggles will be too scared to touch.
I love easy caches like this one, resting my legs is good too, thanks for this cache, I saw trains as well and now my geomobile has a new windscreen I better walk back and pick her up
As we had a 3 hours' time gap between the celebration of Grannysmith1947's 10th geocaching anniversary and our eldest son's 45th Birthday, we decided today to tackle caches in the Banyo/Virginia area.
We found this cache and signed the log.
Thank you for your maintenance run!

Was just riding past and decided to check on this cache and lucky i did because it was in bad shape and its guardian was missing. Lucky also that i always have some spare caches in my bike bag. This one is a bit shiny at the moment so i covered it a bit with natural camo. Hint is still the same
Very fun and quick cache. The lid was missing so the log was very wet.

Que Sera I found your cache SLEEPY on 22/4/2023, 9:33 am. This is my find 5082 and find # 1 today. Found it with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
TFTC- after a very long dry spell on finding any caches this was a welcomed relief thanks
out for a maintenance bike ride and found this one not in place and only the log book left so had to do a repair and replace and now its in its proper place as per the hint.
A quick find here today after walking the path under the bridges along the muddy path. Signed and returned as found. Thanks for the cache Que Sera, nice work here, all in good condition, find #7449 at 9.04am
First find for Bhangu on his new life as a geocacher. Was a pleasure to be there to witness the event. I performed a bit of maintenance to the tether but otherwise all is good here. TFTC
1st find for the week. Nice easy one to kick off the day. Car was in getting some work done and I had some time to kill before I had to go to collect it. What better way to kill some time.
First on a new log! In a log may have disturbed a toad who has taken them spot as a home. TFTC
The floods have taken this one away but now a new one in its place. Take a seat but be careful you don't sit on it.
Logging with the kind permission of the CO…
Including my original DNF log below…
I arrived here full of confidence… that confidence soon drained away… I looked… I poked… I prodded… I even resorted to a PAF (they couldn’t recall the cache at all)….
Just not my day… and it’s about to get worse…

Befriended a little mate and his Dad while searching for this cache. Thought it would be OK to include them in the adventure. Big applause to Dad who found it quickly. I’m sure they will be signed up already for more geocaching adventures. Many thanks.
Just a bit more of caching after a nearby event.
Snickersallan pointed out that there was a cache sort of on the way that would fit nicely in satisfying the requirements for an incomplete Challenge.
What an awesome group! I was happy to have my name in the Log book, too!
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 4:46 PM on December 18, 2021. TFTC, Que Sera.

Two Events on the Northside of Brisbane gave us the opportunity to grab this cache with Snickersallan, RoddyC, Hatsoff, GrannySmith1947, Echocage1 and Patrol14. I was also doing a WP for a AL that was very close to this cache. No one on the bike track at the time of our visit which was ideal for making a quick grab. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
After attending two events today, our merry band of geocaching buddies are out again grabbing a few targeted caches on the way. This was one of them.
Was able to park not far from the entry point and we made our way to GZ where we found this clever hide. SL then returned as found.

With the 'We're not Duncachin' and '6th Annual Yuletide on the Northside' Events being held five hours apart, it gave us a good opportunity to do a slight 10klm detour to come here to look for this cache which most of us needed for a Challenge we are working on. Imbunda, hatzofff, RoddyC, echocage1, patrol14 and grannysmith1947 together with Miss Millie dog joined me on the hunt.
There were no cyclists about so we had the entire bikeway to ourselves to search, however the very clever hide was revealed very quickly, well done CO.
