Our original plan for the day was to head up to Orford to try and find some more of the tiger snake series but when I got a notification about a new ad lab and bonus at Dover, we couldn’t resist trying to get a first to find. We took the Huon highway on the way in with plans to take the longer way through police point on the way back. A great day out with a total of eighteen finds.
I had a few ideas as to what this could be, but if what we think is what remains of the cache, none of them were right. Despite the high difficulty I think this one’s gone too.

A quick drive down to Dover from Geeveston, had a couple of hours to spare. Time for a few caches, took a little while to find , thanks to 63ROOS for the cache.
Hello 63ROOS thank you for the cache
I was lucky to find it before muggle arrived to go swimming.

This was a bit trickier than I expected. The hint made no sense to me at all. Luckily once I knew the size of the cache I changed my focus at found it quickly then.
Hello 63ROOS; and thanks for the cache.
When I called i here almost 2 hours earlier, there were some campers getting dressed and ready for the day; so I moved on - out-muggled!
After taking way too long at a multi 3kms away, I returned to an empty carpark, but one car followed me in, and before I'd gotten out, another vehicle also pulled in.
Both their vehicles were closer to GZ than I was - but at least I had the shade!
After a bit they'd dispersed out of sight (mostly) I honed in thru the vegetation and a a minute had found the sneaky hide.
After dropping off a couple of teenage cherry-pickers at Castle Forbes Bay for an early start, I'm enjoying a leisurely drive via the coast road to Dover as I've never cached this road before (hardly driven it actually).
Thanks for the adventure,
Cheers, EPs.

Took a while but found it!! Hint doesn’t make sense but look in the most obvious place!!
Driving along this picturesque coast road i stopped at this one. There were some Muggles in a car so i just waited it out for about 10 minutes then i walked over to the GZ area. I just stood and wondered where it might be. After a wee search the sneaky hide was discovered

This little series of caches of yours was published not long after RLD4963 and I last visited the area in August last year. So we were keen to go looking for these on our trip this weekend.
Having visited Dover, we were now making our way back to our accommodation near Geeveston and this was the first of the three - a unique hiding spot! A nice quick find and it was on to the next one......

Nice little beach, lots of dogs and muggles around. However with stealth we were able to sneak away to gz for the find. TFTC
Out and about caching on a nice autumn day and found your cache along the way. a great place to visit while touring the area.
Cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Visitors include white bellied sea eagle, superb fairy wren, raven, new holland honeyeater and yellow rumped thornbill
All was quiet when we arrived at this location. Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 63ROOS for the cache.
Another quick find with my granddaughter and daughter in law. We had a little walk on the beach too. TFTC
We had to abort coast #2 due to a couple of muggle vehicles at GZ so continued on to this one only to find camper set up here. Fortunately their cars were parked in such a way they blocked GZ. We went down to the beach first before searching and making a quick lucky find.
As is the usual thing these days, no plan had been made until Friday night for our caching outing today. Lady Membsec had messaged and asked what plans SSR and I had (at that point we had options but not a plan) and that got me into gear.
We didn’t really have a huge amount of caches on the list but still too many to achieve. The walk to Lake Perry took longer than we though it would. Lunch was soooo big it took forever to eat and muggles held us up at a few locations, but we enjoyed chatting with quite a few. We also enjoyable visit to a fellow geocachers block as we were in the area.
It all made for a really pleasant day.
Thanks 63ROOS

We had to skip #2 as we spotted muggles next to GZ so we'll do this one first and go back, well this one also had camping muggles so we looked at the water and the sand before seeing a chance to grab this cache without being seen by them, Names added to the log in a flash.
Oh didn't understand the hint at all, if there had been no muggles this would have been easy.
As normal we didn't have a plan till late Friday and that was just an idea of the area we wanted search in, so the short list was Geeveston and Dover, and Hartz Mt, we picked to many caches for our day but that ok it just means we will have to come back to Dover another time.
We had a number of things that ate up time, with the first being how bad the road has got since we were last heading out to the car park at Hartz Peak, last time it was a smooth drive but this time the road had gained a few big holes and it wasn't long before we were stuck behind cars only willing to go at half the speed I wanted to drive at, second problem was the walk to P KP PC LP which took longer than we were thinking due to poor track and us stopping every now and then to take some stunning pictures, later in the day we called at a fellow cachers new block as we were passing and we also ran into muggles at a number of cache locations so we had to talk to them or wait them out so we could grab the cache.
This is all coming over as negatives but it made for different day, yes less cache finds but more fun and some interesting memories.

Had a day off again, and wanted to go and visit my good old friend down the huon.
Set off just before lunch to come down to the huon. Drive down was good and day was good all around. No rain, which had hampered my day in Devonport the day before.
Collected a few movables and a few caches in the geeveston area.
TFTC.

We decided to head out this morning in brilliant sunshine at Boyer ending in pouring rain at Police Point and Huonville to find 15 newly published caches that have appeared and this was one of them. Luckily it stayed dry until we finished caching at Police Point and down it came. A quick find at GZ. Always a lovely drive in this area. Thanks for placing 8 new caches for us to find. TFTC
**FTF** @7:50am.
We couldn’t come down yesterday as Lady membsec had doctors appointment in town but we had planned a trip down today if mr_johna left any FTFs for us! Such dedication in the dark.
Early morning start with the temperature getting down to minus 1 in some areas but by the time we arrived at GZ the sun was shining brightly. A quick park and short walk to GZ. Wasn’t in the first place we looked but soon found the beast. Now came the hard part.......retrieving the beast and signing. Nice to see an empty log sheet.
Thanks for the cache 63ROOS
