Logs
We continued today our tour of Queensland and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to alphag_25 for the generation of this nice cache Jilalan Lookout (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. been here a couple of times before but had to depart ,not a real swift find but good enough to get a grinning face on the log and me, signed log at 10.10am and park was quiet today, TFTC
Out today to find a cache that would fill a gap on my Finds by Hidden Month Grid. Having DNF on the one that woujld have, and feeling pretty frustrated, I now went about to avenge the DNF.
I hate micro on machinery so surprised just how easy that was to find, but looking at the spoiler photo now (later) I feel it was not perhaps where it was supposed to be.
Thanks alphag 25 for today's fun. For that I give you one of my favourite points.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 108. Mackay to Clairview via Sarina. I am heading south slowly and spent the long morning caching along the Bruce Highway and in Sarina. Apart from a few failed tree caches, I had a great day with some interesting locations visited. It is all the more entertaining doing it with a van, and sometimes this means longer walks or skipped caches.
Most of the days caches were quick rad side stops. thankfully I was able to see this one. With the signs on the back of the car, it reminds me of a display I saw further west once.
Thanks for the cache alphag_25

Sneaky little hide.
Quite a walk from Sarina but the size is worth it.

This was a good way to tour the are and we found a good variety of caches some in places we had not visited before.
This was the 3rd cache that we have found on coal haulers in the last week.
There is a good view of the railyards from the lookout.

On the second leg of a GC trip with Drennostar on our way to a wedding. On our way to Sarina via the back roads.
Thought we'd have to search the whole thing top to bottom, but thanks to the photo hint Drennostar had it in hand in a matter of minutes.
Great lookout here, but they need to trim some trees as you can barely see the view at the moment. Thanks for bringing us here!

Missed this one on the first attempt as we headed out this road, but managed to get it straight away on the way back. Obviously didn’t look there the first time!
Day 1 in Koumala, so we decided to mix some sightseeing with caching to see where it took us. First we headed to Sabrina, where we got to see the huge railway yards, we guess is the base for the coal trains we have seen going backwards and forwards. Then it was a short trip around town including the big cane toad and then off out to the coast. There was some magnificent scenery and a chance to see how big the tides can be. They were out for most of our touring. A few great lookouts and then return to our caravan. An enjoyable and satisfying day.
Thank you to all the local COs for the tour and developing and maintaining the caches.

Thanks to the photo hint, we found this time the cache.
We had planned to leave today Alligator Creek, but on our way to Sarina for topping up fuel and getting some maps in the Visitor Info Center, we saw still some green dots.

We had a pretty long day today caching with Rainforest Cookie and Tmac. We started on the Letterbox trail and then branched out in quite a few directions on a caching/sightseeing tour of the area.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

Spent some time looking here, didn't realise that there was a spoiler pic until later, I'll be back another day.
Inevitably on a long trip when many geocaches are being found, some get missed. Unfortunately, at the time, this was one of them. So, although out of chronological order, I am logging them today for simplicity. So my apologies for the generic log and the out of date sequence.
Our trip commenced on Friday November 28th and concluded on Tuesday December 22nd. During that time, we visited caches in Maryborough, Childers, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Sarina, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville and Cairns, with other places in between like Proserpine, Home Hill, Ayr, Ingham to name just a few, with many wonderful single stop caches along the way.
Our party consisted of myself, hatzofff, grannysmith1947, and on occasion, youngoldfella.
Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC, alphag_25.

Day five of my adventure from the Gold Coast to Townsville with geo friends RoddyC, hatzofff, youngoldfella & grannysmith1947. Enjoying caching our way around whilst admiring points of interest & landmarks.
Nice view of the train network, we found the cache by checking recent pics after an unsuccessful search. Neat hide, thanks CO.
