Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban and a bunch of other Canberra invaders! Signed CPI Canberra Penrith invasion! on a caching invasion of Penrith! Thanks GeoMonster10!
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC. First day of caching Penrith with the Canberra mob (CPI24). A great day collecting lots of solved puzzles, and everything in between.Finishing the day at Panthers Football Club the day before the grand final.Nice quick find with CPI24
Up with a group from Canberra running around the Penrith area. Signing as CPI24. for Canberra Penrith Invasion. Thanks for getting me out and about GeoMonster10
Find # 128395/10/2024 Caching adventures continue and trying to tick off some of the Penrith caches as well as many on the solved pile as we can. this is one such cache, found and signed CPI24 for Canberra Penrith Invaders - consisting of Joolay, Tankengine, dty73, Youban, Sacada, GLISS!, Nibletricecakes, minniek, Aquillis, and Fitzy65. All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks GeoMonster10 for Band caches - John Williamson
What an awesome day! Tankengine, Youban and I went and had an awesome breakfast at Percy Plunkett Cafe. The food and service was really good, but the coffee was smaller than expected, but not too bad. After that we got some caches before meeting the rest of the gang (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Aquilus1, sacada, GLISS! and Nibletricecakes). We dashed from cache to cache, all we aimed for we found and only had a couple of DNFs. After an all day run around happily caching (only breaking for lunch at Zeus Kebab and Pizza House in Cranebrook Village - which hit the spot!), we headed to the Panthers Club for the event and a well earned drink! This cache: ok last one for the day. Yep log is full. Tftc!!!
Up in Penrith for some long weekend fun with some of the canberra mob. Worried we may get a little rained out but the weather has held and we have had a blast. Great to be able to pick up a bunch of solved puzzles, a ton of ALs, some multis, and anything else we could find. Thanks to the COs for enabling our fun and to GLISS! Minniek, Fitzy, dty, Tankengine, joolay, aquilis, youban, sacada, contestsa. Signed today at CPI24. TFTC
Easy find my gps was out so I followed my map. The log needs replacing - its full and damp. Pic for log. Tftc! Solved a few years ago.
Will I? Won't I?With 3 DNFs on Band Caches already this morning I wasn't sure whether to stop or not, but with 2 finds this week I decided to give it a go. I parked near the locked entrance to Wianamatta Regional Park and was amazed at the bird life in the trees here this morning, several species low in the trees. The road was not busy so crossing to the other side was easy, however the path was quite busy with muggle walkers and joggers coming from both directions. Lucky I had the birds to distract me while they all passed. The cache was a quick find. I also found a really good pen here!John Williamson - he's got some great Aussie songs!TFTC # 5731
Solved this a while ago, but that original one was wrong. Solved it again today and made a quick find. The log could use a bit of maintenance however. TFTC!
Another day of several finds in between dropping two cars at service centres and collecting them afterwards. Worked out the puzzle earlier this week and waited for a dry day. Log roll pretty full so I squeezed my entry there, photo shared with CO Geomaster10, with thanks for the puzzle. With TBs Canadian Flag, Pittiplatsc, Corona Express Cruise Ship, Bierkrug and USA Bear in tow.
A true-blue cache, although very damp. Not surprising after months of flooding rains around here. Managed to make my marks but some new paper might be needed. Thanks GM10
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short three day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and will be continuing on with our caching adventures in the areas between Castlereagh and Warragamba. Will be concentrating our efforts on collecting more of the Penrith geoart caches and the Warragamba geoart caches that we missed or DNFed on our previous visit, and also some more of the “Band Caches” puzzle caches and “Suburbs of Penrith LGA” traditional caches. This was our 13th find of the day (day 2), and 33rd find of the holiday.
Arrived at GZ and made a nice quick find in the first place we checked. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thanks GeoMonster10 for the puzzle & cache.

Quick find in the rain, o-ring is absent from the container this the log will become wet during heavy rains
Very good coords helped with a quick find. Our last cache for 2 weeks as Sydney commences another lockdown. Hope we have enough toilet paper and baked beans. TFTC Geomonster
Nice and easy. Coords were spot on and it took just a few seconds to find it. TFTC
Grabbed a few more Band Caches with frazeydaze on the way home after a weekend in Blackheath.
Find number 5396
After DNF the other nearby cache we made a nice quick find here.
Thanks GeoMonster10 for placing this cache.

Tftc. Mrs Jaybeem solved this ages ago, so whilst out visiting family today we took the opportunity to find it. Took a while to settle the GPS but a quick find.
#7638 (1 of 7 today - including 3 Lab Caches)
Headed out west today to bolster my calendar finds - not that thy're horribly low mind - and decided to pick up some solved puzzles out Penrith way. Got all four of them I went for - but fell short at a disabled Traditional... thought I'd try my luck.
Finished off the afternoon with 60% of the *St Mary's* Lab series.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Should I admit I bought this single back in the day... Still have it.
Parked close and made my way to GZ. Wasn't thrilled to see it had recently been DNFed, but hope springs eternal.
Took longer than it should - natural camo was working overtime here and very effective, but in the end my familiarity with the CO's hides got me the prize. Cache and log all in top condition.
Signed, replaced and away to my next target.

Quick find with Deep_99 to keep the streak going. No emus around today, tried to find them near where ani-del said but instead spotted a kangaroo. SL #4726 on streak day #3058 TFTC
As a child I saw John Wiliamson perform at Timbertown in Wauchope, at the time I didn't know how lucky I was but it's still a fond childhood memory. As I drove up to where I expected to fond this cache today I came across "Old Man Emu" and hoped he bad his partner would still be around on my way back.
Thankfully they were and I snapped a couple of pics, beautiful sprouting Bottlebrush too. For future finders, there's an open paddock behind the fence west of this cache, there's a bench just outside it. We've often seen them here and have previously been blessed to have seen this pair of emus with 3 chicks.
TFTC.

I solved this one the other day and set it aside for a day when i had enough time to make my way out to this cache.
After finishing up work early this afternoon i looked at the sun and thought that id be able to make the trip today.
I parked across from the GZ and began my search. After a few wrong spots i made a quick find and was soon on my way home.
Thanks.

Just had a quick caching run out this morning along with ilook4geo, picking up a few caches around this area. Had to wait for a while for nearby muggles to pass before making the find here. Log was signed with two more names before being put back as it had been found. Thanks go to GeoMonster10 and for placing this cache.
Found this cache this morning without any problems after coming with goingplaces2. A quick find. TFTC.
Quick solve of puzzle. Parked close by. Signed and replaced. Thanks for another puzzle cache to find. Tftc
I saw this new one come up on yesterday's daily feed and since I was going to be in Penrith today, I put in on my to do list for the day. Thanks to good coords, it turned out to be a straightforward find even though the cache was completely covered by mulch.
Thanks for the hide Geomonster10.
