Hi Angus88. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year. VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didnt find the girl U want, the caches were enough. Its a beautiful world here in Tassie. Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5213 and I found it on Friday 25 Oct 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: Condition: GoodWeather: slightly cloudyMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)Tractable also visited your cache
Thanks Angus88 for placing Westie Series - BONNIE. Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 2. Devonport and surrounds. At least my log is not full of bad 80s references. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time. This is my GC find #2131 and was found on 25/10/2024 at 10:12FTF: Found with: SwampyWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Our 1st find for the day as we ambled along Ableside. Tucked away where we thought it would be but not quite the quick grab as boy, that magnet was strong.TFTC
What a very funny rail. Thanks For The CacheINFORMATIONFind (EST)/SL Time:3/13:42TODAY FINDS/DNF:3/0Finder Note: All SYSTEMS GO ON THIS CACHE!
We are on our way to the Spirit and left some time to do a few caches to earn the Leap Year souvenir. We have a westie god-dog called Bonnie, so this was a very fitting cache for us.Thanks Angus88
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out on the bike today grabbing a few on this series, while hubby had an appointment. This took longer than it should have and it had a very strong magnet which meant it wasn't going to fall off. Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
This morning after a leisurely start from our base in East Devonport we headed for a walk by the river on the bike track. Most enjoyable with all caches we looked for found which is always a great result. The recycle can project cant come a day too soon for Tassie, lots of cans littering the way. Interesting to see how fast the tides turn on this river.Nice quick find here glad its not a Freddo magnet TFTC
We had just arrived in Devonport with some spare time and decided to do a cache! It was a quick and easy find for my 6th tassie cache!

YAY - I found Bonnie. Find 9 of Day 4 of our Great Tassie 2023 Caching Adventure. This one was a very quick find. Log signed and we were off. TFHC Angus88
Tricky. But we found. We were hesitant at first about reaching in the pole.
Thanks for the cache Angus88.
RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I were making our way to Port Sorell for a few days r&r. We have driven along this road a few times over the past couple of years, and have seen this track under construction and once finished have thought what a great piece of infrastructure. Today we actually walked along it and searched for your caches along the way. We passed a lot of people using the track - walkers, familes on bikes, other dogs walking their owners, and a even a couple of people on an e-scooter - this included RLD4963, who was giving his knees a rest.
A quick find at GZ.

Back for another go at this one now someone else has managed to retrieve it from it's hide. An easy find today. TFTC
Took a minute to get it out, was pushed high up the pole but leaving with a find, replaced a little lower easier to grab
The cache is there but couldn't get it out of it's hidey hole, may need some attention

Up in Devonport for a few meetings and peppered with as much geocaching as practical.
We enjoyed the first half of this Westie Series late last year, although then there was still a lot of construction work going on. It’s nice to come back and experience the trail fully completed. Such a glorious walk and a great series.
Lots of muggle motorist here needed a bit of stealth. TFTC

Hi Angus88, stopped by this morning to collect another three of your caches in the Westie Series. A great commemorative series to Archie and can't wait to collect the rest. Thank you for your hides, needed Go Go Gadget fingers here but retrieved and left as intended.
