F(H)ound It! #3889 @ 5:40 PMFound with Dunnehunters before attending a nearby CITO.It was exactly where I expected it to be...once we approached it from the right directionthanks for the cache, InnocentApple
Thanks for the hide. Took quite a bit. But once I found it, felt a bit stupid that I hadnt seen it first time around. (Have you found the coffee cup?)
Until I came looking for this cache, I hadn't realised there was a CITO event here yesterday! Had I known, I would have come down to say hello and pick me some rubbish.Anyways, after a loooong time ignoring this cache, today I came for a look and located it in moments. Happy days!TFTC, InnocentApple
After the nearby CITO this evening, a small group of stragglers at the end decided to walk just across the road to this one. After signing the log, it was time to get back to the cars and race home again for dinner. Thanks InnocentAppleDomsky
Had to go before I could find it was there for a good thirty minutes though
Just a quick one today as its raining and I need to get home: Like many others in the logs, I had a go at looking at both sides of the fence and had success with just one walk around the long way. Admittedly, in the end my success was mostly just due to noticing a small sign that other geocachers before me had left to show that they had been there. I had trouble extracting the log as it was shoved well in there, but after a few whacks against my hand, the log was free! I signed my name and folded it up a different way before putting it back in.Thanks for the cache!
After a couple of unofficial dnfs on different sides of the fence, I brought my dad along. He found it immediately which made me feel a bit silly.Thank you InnocentApple for the cache!!
In Canberra over Easter for the GeoBash Mega, and out caching with Infoferret today. Canberra has turned on some great weather for us this weekend. IF is keen to find caches in as many suburbs as possible, so we stopped by here.Found after a few minutes of looking and wondering what side of the fence. Signed as TINZ. Replaced log as tattered.
31 March 2024 12:23 TFTC InnocentApple for placing this cache, number 14011 for me. Log wrecked (see photos), so new sheet added. Another suburb sorted!I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
Searched for 3/4 of an hour but could not find it, maybe I'm not experienced enough but my guess is that the tree has shed enough pine needles onto the path to be 30 cm thick and maybe it was hiding something
Nice easy find , first cache Ive done close to home. Could not remove log to sign. TFTC
After attending an event nearby we saw this one and decided to grab it on our way home. We did a recce of the area, picked our side and parked the car. We noticed the hide immediately on arriving, completed the signing duties in a full log, and headed back to the car. Thanks Innocent Apple for the placement.
Just a couple of days quick caching with goingplaces2. Found this one quickly and signed the log, then replaced as found. Managed to approach from the right side for a change. Then it was off to the CITO. TFTC.
Found this cache with ilook4geo as it was so close to the CITO event that it was too good to pass up. Spotted it quickly and put two more names on the log before going across the road to do the CITO thing. Thanks for the cache go to InnocentApple.
Found after work and before the nearby CITO. Took a couple of minutes to spot, thankfully I chose the correct side of the fence. TFTC!
Took a little bit of foraging before making the find - a little irked I didn't see it sooner!Log is getting very close to being full and could do with a replacement soon. TFTC!
Found and signed dsd or darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook. Thanks for the cache and the Adventure.
I thought this might be a tricky hide, being so close to a school, but the area was deserted (not counting birds - plenty of those).
Quick find which is nice as the weather is a bit yucky. I would prefer a book at the fireplace, though it's not even that cold.
Anyway - I also want to find a few more caches in Conder - this is very fitting.

Good hiding spot we didn't have a pen so we couldn't make it and it took us a little to find but we did it
Found 12:24 pm with fiancée, although she sat in the car. I was in Canberra for my fiancée’s son’s wedding the previous day and had a bit of time to kill today so it was a perfect opportunity to badger the fiancée to find a cache, even then the time I spent here meant not enough to look for another right nearby. Took a bit of time to locate, she first parked on wrong side and I didn’t think it would work but I looked anyway and then we reparked in a new location and I searched again. I noted a log about height and I suspect that put me off and I focussed too much on wrong area to the point of giving up (I dislike locations where the cache can be in multiple vertical spots). So we headed off but then a hint came through so then the fiancée drove back and parked at last spot and I started to search again this time successfully finding the cache after the searching. Sometimes you have to be careful that you interpret someone’s log the right way.
Signed the log and returned the log to the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

A quick find here today once on the correct side of the fence. Thanks, IA.
Not such a quick find as I missed it on my first sweep. Second time around, still nothing. No shame in phoning a friend, so I did that and the cache was then soon in hand. Obviously just missed seeing it the first couple of attempts. Oh well, all good though....
Thanks IA...
Thanks IA...
On a wander around Conder & Banks picking up a few caches. All but one found without any issue on good coordinates.
I as looking forward to getting out today but then didn't. I thought making myself get out anyway might help a little, it didn't. I wanted something from McDonald's so did. I wanted to find a cache so did. I do like day light saving though. Easy find from the road side of the fence. TFTC.
#11512 - 10:40:00 AM; Headed southside early for a spot of caching before a meeting in Gordon. Collected an adventure lab in Tharwa and then some trads to pass the time before the appointed hour. Sussed out the likely hiding spot and the cache revealed itself soon after. TFTC InnocentApple
After Tuesday’s tough walk to 'Bog Hut' we treated today as an 'active rest' day. We picked up odds-and-ends caches with a short walk here-and-there in preparation for Sunday's hike to John's Peak and beyond via the Camelback/Ashbrook Road Firetrail.
Quick and easy find on our way through to Tharwa and then onto Corin Dam this afternoon. TFTC InnocentApple.

Today was a trip down south to get a few caches for my day count a bit further away from home. Great to get another cache all the way down here in light rain.
Thanks for the cache InnocentApple

Took a while to spot this one but got there eventually. Possibly merits another half star difficulty rating. TFTC InnocentApple
Quick find today, as this time I was outside the fence. I couldn't find it last time from the carpark side. (This also likely explains many of the other DNFs.) Good to change to . TFTC InnocentApple.
Found with Goldenwattle. Trickier than the rating indicates, as this could be inside or outside. TFTC.
Had a good search, even checked previous findings. Wondering if some tree trimming has occurred here recently
After reviewing some previous logs after I wasn't able to find this one previously (kind of ran out of time and on wrong side of fence) was keen to give it another try. Looked high and low then finally took a peak on another whim. And there it was. Opened the cache to be met by nothing but air.
Having been found only about 4 days ago found it a bit odd, but was readying to notify the CO.
Then noticed a piece of paper on the ground. Picked it up without great hope, but YES, log in hand. Signed and returned to the container within which it belonged. Thanks again InnocentApple.

22,087. Found during a meander around Canberra today while dodging the rain !
Headed into Canberra today despite the weather as I wanted a bunch of caches for a challenge I'm doing. After dropping minniek off at work I headed south for some InnocentApple Therapy. This was the next one I tried today. Parked in the nearby street and walked around the paths to GZ. Strangely enough it was one of those finds where the cache was in the very first place I looked - gotta be happy about that. Signed the log, replaced the cache (but busted doing it), explained all about Geocaching, then headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks InnocentApple !! Nearly finished these series to date ! Keep them coming ! Reading Turtle's log maybe the lady that saw me at GZ and that I had explained Geocaching to had come back for a second look - or even to sign it and join up ?? Glad it was all good in the end.

Found with AngelG27 on a Sunday morning mission to collect a few caches for her stats. She did the expert finding while I did the expert driving. TFTC
Cache 6793 on 22 Nov 2020.
Out on a early morning jaunt with Bobl27 to collect a few caches to top up my numbers for the day. All caches found easily and in line with hints unless otherwise indicated. Even this early, it was warm and the flies were out in force.
Reviewing previous logs made the search quicker.
Thanks InnocentApple for the cache and the fun!

Found it, caching slightly out. Tricky find, 3 time here. Hint Be on the outside of the fence
We thought we'd grab a few smilies today, so rode/ran from Monash to Lanyon Homestead, then around Condor and Banks, picking up a few caches on the way before making the trek back home.
We weren't sure if were on the right side of the fence, but a quick search showed we were. A nice easy find. TFTC!
