Quick find as we were on the right side of the fence Adventure to Perth chasing all States and Territories in a year with Kittykatch. Looking forward to the adventure. Thanks for getting me out and about ChrisRG
Perth/Darwin TripA beautiful cemetery to explore. Joolay and I are travelling to WA and NT to qualify for a challenge that requires you to find a cache in every Australian state in a calendar year. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache ChrisRG
Enjoyed myself wandering this area. Find it and sign the log as EV. Thank you for the cache and hunt
Out grabbing a few early morning geocaches. No issues with the whereigo app, took about 20min to get the necessary information then a bit of a walk to and from the cache. Only problem was approaching it from the wrong side, it's outside, not inside the cemetery. TFTC
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 56 - Fremantle to Swan Valley Perth. I did not have far to go today, so after a slow start I did a few caches on the outskirts of Fremantle, including an amazingly big cemetery. I was able to check in to the van park at midday, so that was great and I was soon out again. I selected a run of caches along a freeway to fill in my afternoon. It was a mixed bag again. some fantastically sneaky caches, some that beat me. I ended the day with a Solstice event where it was great to meet some locals. I went back to my van and cooked dinner before a very wet night. The cemetery was very imposing. I pulled the eScooter out and rode from the big car park and worked my way through this cartridge. I was happy it worked successfully and gave me a Z. I had to figure out how to get to it, but it was not as hard to find once I got there as I feared. Thanks for the cache ChrisRG47922.5 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & April 2020 Kar the Old A#416**Albida**
After an interesting walk visiting some of the historic graves the coordinates were revealed and the cache was found. Thank you for this interesting Wherigo.
Ciao e grazie. #11041We left Dunsborough mid-morning and arrived in Fremantle mid-afternoon after several stops to log interesting caches for our statistics. Before taking accommodation we come to the cemetery for this Wherigo even though we were tired. It was a nice tour around this immense cemetery to visit the various famous people. Once the characters and the answers have been found, the final coordinates and then the hint also arrive. Sistema immediately finds a signature and we can finally go and take a shower.A favorite for the beautiful ride.Hello and thanks. #11041
Had the final for this in the solved pile for a while now and on the way home from an appointment in Freo I stopped in for a look-see. After a bit of a scramble I spotted the container and was soon on my way again.ChrisRG I found your cache at 1:13pm, this was the 4th of 4 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8478. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC
Enjoyed a wander around the cemetery, completing my first whereigo, exploring the history trail for the first time and revisiting Bon. TFTC, ChrisRG!
Struggled with the whereyougo app as I have an Android phone. Ended up using my laptop to get the cartridge file moved to the right folder. Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure and will try some more.
We were here chasing down a multi and started this wherigo as we worked our way around Whilst enjoying your tour around we also got to visit my grandfather and stumbled across some old family friends which added something special to your cache for us. Once we finished all the stages we headed to gz and made a nice quick find. We signed your log and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. TFTC ChrisRG.
Loved this Wherigo and really enjoyed the peaceful walk through the cemetery. Lapped up the history surrounding us, caught up with some loved ones that now reside here and were amazed at the huge size of the place! The history trail here was great not that we followed all of it. A favourite for me. Thanks ChrisRG.
#7393Day 2 in Perth and we decided to head to Fremantle for the day. Amazing and huge cemetery. We enjoyed reading the history at each locationTFTC ChrisRG
Fun walk with @Barco to find this one. He needed the emotional support walking through the cemetery as he knows he will be there soon. I’m such a good friend. TFTC
It's been years since I've done a wherigo! Used to enjoy them... but then I switched from an iPhone and could never get the things to work on Android. Drove me nuts so I just gave up on them. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and another app was recommended to me (originally because I was moaning about Ad Lab stages still not showing on the map in the official GS app); not only does this app show AL stages, but as a bonus it also has an in-built wherigo feature. So here I am Now it wasn't quite plain sailing as my Samsung still put up a fight, but I got the cartridge downloaded and was soon off exploring the cemetery. Once running everything worked a treat and I enjoyed my wander. Final location almost threw a curve ball but then logic kicked in and the right approach was made All ok here today - keen now to find wherigos again TFTC
Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.
With rain forecast we headed out this morning on the bikes then at lunchtime we changed into the GeoCruiser for the afternoon.
Even managed to revisit 3 DNF and converted 2 of them. Boy theres sure some tricky caches around here. round and round we went today. Quick find at GZ by Mr F.

A quick drive here early this morning to hopefully add a Wherigo to the smiley collection.
A nice wander around the deserted cemetery. Checked out a few other signs that I was near. All WPs easy to collect. I was a bit surprised not to find a huge memorial for Bon Scott. Love old cemeteries, so interesting.
Quick find at GZ thanks. A favourite point for your efforts.

28,673. Found with minniek during our long weekend adventure to Western Australia and the Northern Territory to finish our 'Around Australia in 2022' Challenge.
By the end of February this year we were lucky enough to have visited in and cached in five of the eight Australian states/territories (ACT/NSW/VIC/SA and TAS). With the Townsville Mega knocking off QLD in April, we decided we may as well do a trip to WA/NT to complete Australia in one year. This is that trip. Today we headed down Fremantle way for an event plus more caches. This Wherigo was a priority for us, and we enjoyed the walk around the famous/infamous graves. Once we had GZ we arrived - d'oh - then did a short detour and grabbed the cache. We signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks ChrisRG !!

Found while on a trip to the west from South Australia.
Today I made my way up from Mandurah to a friend’s place near Perth. Once again, the weather wasn’t the greatest, but the rain eventually stopped and it improved as the day went on.
I took the opportunity to pick up a few caches of interest, including this one.
This was a really interesting wherigo and a quick find at GZ.
Thanks ChrisRG for the cache.

Didn't take too long to complete. My first whereigo in Western Australia
Out and about on a Sunday afternoon/evening drive around Perth.

A day out caching with Cirrus_WA, our goal for the day was how many LGA’s we could get in one day.
We ended up with 21 LGA’s, which is a decent effort.
Seen many spectacular views and some unique caches.
This is my 1293 find.
Thank you ChrisRG for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

An enjoyable walk around discovering some of the history of the cemetery and once we had the final coordinates it was a short walk.
Once at GZ the cache was located quickly.

A kid free day during the school holidays calls for a caching challenge. After some talk over the last week SirFancy and I decided that the goal for today was to to hit as many LGA’s as possible.
After we dropped the kids off a vac care we started the grabbing caches around the Fremantle area before following the river towards the city.
After lunch we continued north to Padbury before making our way through Noranda, Belmont and South Perth.
By the time we got back to pick the kids up after a full day out collecting 23 finds, 1 Adventure Lab and 1 DNF across 21 LGA’s to more than double my previous best.

Thanks ChrisRG for placing Fremantle Cemetery Wherigo for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 09:24 on 13/1/22.

There are some cache icons that draw your attention and as I love and of the rarer icons, this had to be visited as I made my way from the airport to Fremantle this afternoon. [^]
I quickly worked through the cartridge, got the final location but spent some time searching on the 'wrong side' of the barrier that was placed between me and the container. Even more foolishly, I did not see the container that was in plain sight, but only a meter or so from where I was searching.
With that corrected, I wandered over and added my name to the log. No need to hunt the container, it was out in the open when I arrived. I tucked it away a little before moving on.
Cheers ChrisRG.

Very cool little tour. Enjoyed seeing some famous names. Thanks for setting up. TFTC
A lot of history here, wandered around, the cartridge worked fine, and answers gleaned.
We even ended up coming back for a GZ of another cache in Freo!
After gaing the GZ co-ords we headed over to GZ only to find, and see it, through the fence!
So around we went...

Thanks

I was on route to the hospital for some day surgery and stopped to log this find. Busy road but presumably no passerby would stop when there’s no parking at GZ. Thanks for the hide. I had 2 TB but left them in the car...doh!
A great Wherigo here with very interesting points. Nice easy find at the end. Fave point from us! Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there ChrisRG, I was in this area today and found your cache Fremantle Cemetery Wherigo GC8ZGZQ. I added my name to the log book at 10:26 am on 20 February 2021. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

With another day of excellent weather, the plan was made to head out caching, targeting a few LGAs that I had not cached in yet. Along with this, there were a few specific caches targeted in between. It was an enjoyable day as we cached our way through Freo and some of the swankier suburbs before finally called it a day not long after five. All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.

I was looking for something to do for a couple of hours. Looked at the geomap and spotted this Wherigo. Spent the required time wandering around the cemetery grabbing the info for this and the two multi-storey that have stages starting here.
Made a quick find at GZ. A fave from me.
ChrisRG SVKR_WA is happy to have found your cache Fremantle Cemetery Wherigo today at 14:47:00 7 Feb 2021. This brings my find count to 4624

This one has been on the to do list for ages and today we were in the area so stopped to do it. Cemetery was very quiet today so we gathered the info and then made our way to GZ to make a quick find TFTC
Thanks ChrisRG for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
Headed out this evening with C10 to grab the two new caches near home and the fremantle cemetery whereigo which has been in thensolved basket for too long. Managed three quick finds and back home in no time at all.
TFTC. Interesting walk around the cemetery. Discovered a few ancestors along the way
Dropped by to complete this one today. At a couple of the locations GZ was out with one I couldn't even find but google fixed that. I do enjoy a wonder around these places as some people spend a lot on the memories of loved ones. Cache was in good nic. TFTC
Luckily I was out with ICNothing as my cartridge didn’t download properly. Very interesting walk and the final cache was straight forward!
Headed out with Meme28 to complete this wherigo.
Interesting walk around this cemetery this morning. Took us around an hour to complete with multiple issues with the cartridge forcing us to complete some stages again but minor detail as we did enjoy our walk and finding a nice cache at the end.

We are just milling around finding caches that were published while we were up north. PP1 really likes whereigos & this one did not disappoint. TFTC ChrisRG
We had planned to go to the cemetery this morning anyway but on seeing this cache had been published last night and still not found we decided to do this cache as well whilst we were there. After visiting my parents and grandparents grave sites we went for a walk around the various waypoints of the Wherigo.
Fortunately we had walked the heritage trail a few times before in the past so knew where to go despite the navigation from the Wherigo taking us nowhere near the actual sites required to get the information for ground zero. We even found that the navigation to ground zero was quite out when we compared the Wherigo ground zero to the to where the GPS that we were carrying told us to go.
Once we decided to rely on the GPS instead of the cartridge it was a quick find of the cache and blank log so joint *FTF* around 9.55 hrs.
Thanks ChrisRG for placing this cache for us to find.
