Goddamm it, really looking forward to finding this, but my eagle eyes couldn't find it
Doing the Gong Ride again, (13th-16th time...not sure)...but so happy to have a series of caches along the route. Did not find them all, but that leaves some for next year!
DNF for this one.
DNF for this one.
#8683 (5 of 11 today)
This is one of seven calendar days where I only have 14 finds. Don't judge me... So as my goal for this year is 16 calendar loops I need some finds today. Regardless of the weather.
Well, it seems the Calendar Caching Gods not only required propitiation today but also a ritual washing. With the rain today, I'd say my Geocaching sins have been well and truly washed away! I'm just glad given the forecasts that I don't need a lot of finds tomorrow.
So as I've been aiming to get 20 finds most days, I was hoping for a minimum of six finds, but more is better. Just depends when the rain - or my sogginess level - gets too high.
As it was I made 11 finds along Lawrence Hargreaves Drive, and collected info for two multis. And remembered to check recent logs so I bypassed a few that were MIA.
And almost beat the heavy rain before getting back to The Shire.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Not as easy as it should have been. Quickly spotted the big redback, but the cache eluded me. Finally spotted it deep in. Great...
Made the grab and didn't get bitten by anything. Opened to find, unlike the last one, no method of attachment.
Completed signing duties and replaced in an easier to grab but also easier to spot location.

Find 362 for the tribe.
A lovely day to be out walking along the sea cliff bridge with N3ilG, picking up the earthcache , an adventure lab and a couple of the coal coast series. Topped it all off with a swim at the marvelous nearby Coalcliff pool and beach. Couldn't ask for a better morning! Perfect spring conditions with a light breeze. Next weekend when Sydney is once again allowed to travel after 106 days of lockdown, I am tipping that this place will be packed!
Thankful to N3ilG for finding this one, I was about to give up but persistence on N3ilG's part meant we had the CIH.
TFTC Moom3 & mrwhiskers76! Great series along the spectacular coal coast.

Muggle city here today! I waited for the return trip to make a find on this one, thank you!
Couldn't see it at first but then after getting down really low I managed to spot it - right at the back and very hard to reach. Took a bit of effort but we managed to grab. After signing we returned but found the same thing happened - it slipped right back. We retrieved it again and replaced carefully. Future finders just take care replacing. Tftc!
Out caching with Meritonnn enjoying a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Blue skies and gorgeous ocean views along this series. TFTC
After the three of us carried out a good search, we came up empty handed even with significant assistance from the CO. But I’m in no way saying it’s not there! It’s just that I’m really not that good at this caching thing!
Went out and checked on all caches that have been placed so far in this series. All are still where they should be, and have replaced a few logs.
Spent the day collecting caches in the Illawarra. Completed the Coal Coast Series along with a handful of caches in my 50km radius. Found most caches in good condition, with decent coordinates and helpful hints. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to this recreational activity.
TFTC,
2 off 3 finds today.
We are continuing to work on the personal challenge set by Grub Fred to lift our daily cache find total to 5 or beyond.
It is great to have this new series available to help us out with only a 2 hour return trip.
Today we drove past our first target, oh well, always next time and managed one DNF which might be there and we just didn't see it.
Added a favourite for this one which had me sitting on the ground.

Needed to find 3 caches today for a challenge, a quick find. Wazza9 found it, we stamped the log and replaced. Thanks to moon3 For this series.
Raincoat on, time to brave to the wild weather and find some local caches on a morning off in Wollongong's northern suburbs.
Quick find.
Cheers

Just a reminder for people to read the description of each cache, as more hints are mentioned. Also to look at the whole cache page itself. Will be doing a maintenance check on all caches with DNF’s tomorrow (27/10/20).
Thanks again everyone, appreciate all of the support and guidance. Will be doing the last lot of caches in the series this weekend (07/11/20), if all goes to plan!

Tried to finish off the rest of the series around here this afternoon but fell a couple short. Most were quick finds. TFTC!
Doing a quick run in the northern Illawarra to clean out the few caches I have left in the area. All were quick and easy finds!

Logged at the start of a fantastic cliffside walk. Be careful of cyclists at this tricky corner. Tftc
A great afternoon to get out and do some caching. It'd been quite some time since I'd cached in the northern suburbs so there was plenty to choose from. What I should have realised is, being a weekend it'd be very busy with plenty of muggles to spoil my hunt.
Nonetheless I bagged a handful of caches for my afternoon in the northern suburbs.
Plenty of muggle here, managed to get this one just as the rain started.
Thanks
