Nice little find. Hornet nest is impressive. Cache and log in good condition.
We found a few of the caches along this road a few months ago and have been keen to come back to walk along Upper Harbour Highway and find some more.We had a few hours free this afternoon and after parking nearby we began our walk with this cache. There was a wasp nest nearby with quite a few wasps on it which made us extra cautious about feeling around in case there were more so we very carefully peered into a few spots before locating the right one.The log was quickly signed and the cache returned to its hiding spot before wee made a quick getaway as the wasps were beginning to leave the nest and fly around.A nice cache to start on, now to continue our journey along the magnetic road. But before we do, the wasps remind us of a jokeQuestion - Why do wasps stay in their nests at winter?Answer - SwarmTFTC
Out today caching with Team LARPS for Easter Monday, this one took us much longer than it should have to find. Once we had it in hand the log was almost full, so we added another sheet. Tftc #1691
Out for a lovely day caching with Lycurgon, Anastriel and Small Pooka for Easter Monday! TFTC Signed as LARPS
Took us longer to find than it should have but eventually we saw it was right there. TFTC
First one of the morning, back on my Mountain bike today, biking back up was ok, not to old yet! Nice one to start offTFTC
**19,465**A bit of stealth was required here, with the Stop/Go girl nearby here. She looked less than amused, to be standing in the rain, and as far as she was concerned I was just investigating the sturdy quality of the guard rail. In my honest opinion, it seems sturdy enough! TFTC
Out on an adventure with Gidgetster, trying to keep our kids busy. They already had this one ticked off so Miss8 ran ahead and soon had it in hand. TFTC
Our last find for this afternoon before turning around and heading back to the car. No problems finding this one.
I had been meaning to come and visit the new park at the bottom of the bridge. Having driven past it for so long as it remained fenced off with local government agencies fighting over who would have ownership and thus be responsible for the costs of upkeep, I was excited to finally see the fence removed. It was even better when the series of caches were published.
Today was the day to visit. Found parking close by and it wasn't too busy with muggles around as I made my way to GZ. I then continued up the bridge to locate the caches on the northern side. Another large slip right across the road from this GZ. Pretended to tie my shoe as I reached for the cache.
I do not recommend blindly jabbing a finger in to grab the log as i bit/stung by a bug hidden under the log inside the cache container. Should have used the pliers on my pocket knife that I had with me.

M24: a nice and easy cache to find.
I kinda wish I was "close" to a dairy for a snack and drink. Ah well. TFTC.

A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
I'm in Auckland and I am exploring the region while I am based here. Today was a dry day, overcast but dry. I borrowed by bro's bike and cruised around the place. I had a great time.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

For a personal challenge I needed to sign another two caches today of which this is one of them.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Met up here with Team Welsh this morning to cache close-ish to home, given the weather. Thought we would pick up the four caches on the walkway above the Greenhithe bridge to finish off today. Hoping the rain holds off, as it is now spittiing a little bit. We recall another cache in this location. Needed to inspect quite a few places here before the tiny cache was spotted. TFTC
Looked for this one before heading down the bridge with no luck.
Came back up and found it straight away.
I suppose that's how it goes.
Thanks G-2.

*The first casualty in war is the truth* [B)], and the suggestion that Westies could have had a hand in the case of the missing caches is complete **propaganda**. This cache took me some time but I had an ally in the name of Merlot to help me win this find. Tftc
After finding the CO's newly published cache on the Upper Harbour cycleway we decided as we were now out and about we may as well find the remaining unfound caches in the CO's Magnetic Road series. We had already walked past this hide once on our way to the nearby FTF. Surprisingly quick find on our return. Found in the 1st spot my fingers checked. All good - TFTC
This was my last unfound from the Magnetic Road, I see you have modify slightly your Sanfran specials . TFTC
Quick park & find. Appears to have fallen down so restuck it up. Couldnt open to sign a log
I was working in Te Atatu again this morning but Dad offered to pick me up afterwards so we could go for a walk somewhere. I suggested Greenhithe since, again, it's hard for me to get to usually, plus there were a few caches I hadn't had time for on my last visit. This was #4.
Knew as soon as I turned the corner where it would be, but had to feel around a bit (I don't know how long I've spent cumulatively feeling around on these things, but it's a long time) before coming up with the San Francisco special. Didn't have any issue with opening it and was able to sign the log. TFTC!

For a first time ever I couldn't open this iconic San Fran Special so I've took a photo instead ...

Thought this would be a great place to park, so that I could grab this and then pop up to grab another couple nearby. Unfortunately a little man from the council also wanted to park here, with a very good view of GZ. Foiled I drove down the road a bit and parked up. Went to grab the others first and luckily on the way back the little man from the council had finished his sandwich/coffee/phonecall so I grabbed it, signed it and went back to see how the geohound was doing in the car.
A return trip here to the site of a previous visit. Nice and easy and replaced as found.
***Time to catch up on my Geocaching admin***. This cache was (pre)found, signed and replaced and set aside for logging on a future revisit which coincided with desired stat/dot-days. However the recent Lockdown levels 4 and 'proper' L3 meant no caching would be entertained so those 'dot' days roll over to next year, or 2023 or whatever. These 8 Greenhithe caches are the last to be logged.

Keylev and I decided to explore some of the north shore today. It was a very warm day and we enjoyed the lovely bays and secret walkways to the caches. A ladies lunch and coffee's rounded out a very pleasant day. Thanks for bringing us to this part of the world!
Happily we were able to park on a grass verge close by and do some walking to collect this and a couple of other caches. Quick find here. TFTC!

Out for a walk from Hobsonville to Greenhithe today and stopped to look for this cache along the way. Nice easy find here, TFTC!
Mrs NZT and I had planned a day out and loosely planned to head somewhere north from home. We ended up in this general vicinity due to some solved puzzle finals and of course the myriad of trads here.
Quick find, thanks for the cache

The elder Future Finder suggested that we pop out, for an hour or so, to do a spot of Christmas day Geocaching. I, certainly, wasn't going to object so out the door we went. This was our second of three caches we collected this afternoon. I invented some parking near GZ and we got to searching. I had my hand on the goods in a flash. Cheers for the cache placement!
Another park and grab while in the area with Merlot58, although it did take a little longer than it should have!
I remember getting the previous cache here. Reading the description would have helped us know what we were looking for as we were looking for 'something else'!
Out for a drive heading back from Hobsonville, and remembered this recent replacement so came off the motorway for a look. Nice quick find, cheers
Always time for just one more cache and this was an easy stop off on the way home. Parked up over the road and the cache was easily located. TFTC
In area today with nette so stopped here and explored the Upper level...
All good here.
All good here.
I decided to have the day off since my work mate decided to as well. Just sitting at home on the computer as one does, sussing out if or not I would go caching and then a pile of new caches came out in front of my eyes. The decision was made for me, loaded the new caches into the phone and I hopped into my jandals, grabbed a pen, phone, wallet and off I went.
Set the map to the nearest cache which was this one and all the while wondering if Kiwicouple might have already been and gone! Parked the car on a funny angle, I know it was a funny angle because I got a few strange looks! Never mind, getting the {FTF} was more important and a after a brief search I saw San Francisco! Whoo hoo. opened the cache and I sighed a sigh of relief that I was indeed first to be here today.
I noted on my Google Earth that this location used to be 'Ticket To Ride' and you signed in on tickets! Thought that was a bit clever.
Thanks G for the cache, and now off to see what else I can find today.
