F(H)ound It! #3883 @ 3:55 PMDunnehunters and I returned for another walk around the hill. Collected this along with a few others on the return stretch. The artwork is pretty cool.thanks for the cache, kitwalker73
Found with pantspeople after our caching journey further up on the hill. A lovely walk on a cool evening around the mountain and a quick find at GZ. TFTC kitwalker73!
Cache 9627 on 3 Feb 2023.
Ventured down south after work with a group walk to find the Calwell highest mint tin. Got there a bit early so wandered over to this one for a quick find. Had a 50/50 choice which side of the fence to walk, and choose correctly. Log very damp.
Thanks kitwalker73 for the cache and the fun!

With ToyHunters. All good with the cache. Exploring more of this part of the world, on another meandering adventure (but this time with pals in tow). Thanks for the journey and hide.

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

A family x-mas get together interstate for a week required a caching run with all the boys. We all headed out after Nick's birthday with the two-way radios. Found by SB @ 10:15am with Team Boomajarril, Team Betsy, Jump Pilot, Oz Geo Berries. The boys&girl just had to climb the geo-cubby tree house. FP for the tree house.
After walking to the top of Mount Tuggeranong, we came down via a different route.
It was then time to walk around the base and back to the car. This one was right along the way.
Log signed.

#1184 After picking up a cache a little further South Turtle and I headed back up this way to make a few more finds. This one was nearby so we headed here first, parked nearby and wandered on over to GZ. After arrival a quick find was made and whilst under the watchful eye of the nearby mural we signed the log. Thanks kitwalker73 for the hide
#3042 Always felt like I was being watched by the enormous bug on the mural. But that didn’t stop us locating the cache and claiming the find. Thanks kitwalker73 for highlighting another of these wonderful pieces of art.
OK, so I've been aware of this cache for quite some time and there are many reasons why I should have come and found it a long time ago - it's not a million kilometres from my home-away-from-home, it's been placed by Kitwalker (overseen presumably by The Ghost Who Walks), and it references some cool urban art with a naturalist theme!
Finally, I called by here today to make the find and admire the art. Both very cool, but the bee is my favourite.
TFTC, Kitwalker!

Of course I couldn't give up, my weekend off for any other reason than Geocaching. With four Geo-events at Canberra and a bonus friend’s party Saturday night meant that is where I'm headed. It was a great weekend full of fun, dancing, catching up with friends and finding many Geocaches along my travels. This was one of the caches or events, I found (or DNF) or attended at some point over the weekend. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO's of the caches I found, for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTC's and TFTE's!
After the fun further up the hill with the FTF crew, it was time to find some more caches. This time I teamed up with isopeda and search4 to find some caches which were along the long way down the hill. Once down the hill we made our way over to this one. I never knew about this artwork before. As for the cache it was a quick find and have a FP.

Have replaced log - please screw the container shut so the watertight seal works.
A beautiful day out with the geohound. Our first for the trip, nice artwork here. Unfortunately the log is damp beyond use, needs replacement. TFTC
Mrs Mister JD is at an appointment. I am at a loose end before I collect her. It's a lovely day, and a walk and some caches are in order. So I parked nearby, and walked here for this one. The log is damp, I was barely able to sign it. It will dry out, but it is pretty well full as well. TFTC.

Capsule wasn't on tight and paper was damp

Beautiful morning for a walk with the family. 10 year old made a quick find. TFTC
I was by myself today, so headed down south to try and get to five caches, to keep going on my caches per day challenges. Once I found the way to get to this one, it was a nice find.
Thanks for the cache kitwalker73

When I was younger I always daydreamed about being such a great graffiti artist. The work takes such talent. Alas, paint and I don't mix well. Now anything with wool on the other hand, I'm in.

Easy micro find. After climbing up and over and going half way round the base of Tuggeranong Hill, easy was desirable.
Wow been walking past this post for months since we got a dog.
Who’d a thunk there be a geocache there.

TFTC Great day for caching today, thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache.
Quick pickup on the way through to the top of the mountain to complete an AL. TFTC kitwalker73.

After an early morning mission with others chasing some higher D/T caches, I headed south to grab a lab cache at the top of Tuggeranong Hill, and then top up my find numbers for the day. Almost too hot to be out walking/caching, but the exercise was good. Cache easily found. TFTC.

21,886. Found this one on a wet day while caching around Canberra.
Did the usual trek in to Canberra to find some caches. After parting ways with minniek I continued on to fill a calendar day with some of the Southern Suburbs series. Parked nearby (dodgy park - lol) and wandered up to GZ. That really is a nice set of murals here. A nice quick find of the cache. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks kitwalker73 !!

What a great little spot for your first hide! Nice to see it has some purpose and has brought me to a very cool mural, I have certainly never been here before! Well done on finding this spot and displaying this art to other geocachers, top idea!
Coordinates were also spot on and the cache was in good condition!
Many thanks kitwalker73

Went on a bike ride/run with The Woofer around Calwell today, picking up a few caches on the way.
We almost went under, then realised we didn't need to! A nice easy find, and a pretty spot to catch our breath after the hill. TFTC!

I know it's a pest, but the Patterson's Curse is so pretty at present. I pushed it aside to make the find. TFTC kitwalker73.
Went for a walk up the hill, so decided to go this way and pick up the cache. Quickly found and all OK.
Thanks
Thanks
Just when I think I’ve conquered a hill of caches more pop up, in this case 2 relatively new ones on Tuggeranong hill. A short 5km loop helped me snag the 2 that I needed. Tftc
Out and about Tuggers way to add to the smiley collection. No muggles about but plenty of traffic whizzing past nearby. A quick find, sign and replace. TNLNSL TFTC
Today was a day for a Tuggeranong cleanup... quite a few new caches have been placed since my last trip down here...and a few more puzzles solved.
Thanks to the CO's for all the caches

The weather report was for a cold weekend, but its a caching day for me today so would it dare? As it happened, no... A lovely sunny day made warmer by a few hills thrown in along the way!
After picking up GreyHams we spent the day south side, plenty of new caches and a few long time solved puzzles that have escaped previous trips. Our park and grabs with a creek side walk turned to park and grabs, unexpected tree climbs and some damn big hills! But it was a lovely day to be out and an enjoyable day.
Thanks for the cache kitwalker73. Nice flat walk after our recent hill and a great hint.

Wow, 2nd to find. I am not usually this quick, considering that's been here for a few days.
Gotta love a good mural.
Now off to the Community Celebration event.
