Back in Devonport for a few weeks, looking after grandchildren. A great opportunity to go on adventure each day.Such a lovelly day for a walk out the way grabbing all that presented them selves. It was a quick find once we arrived at GZ.Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
On a hike to the point with Muggle friends, this cache was checked today and found to be in good order.
TFTC - Found it - with AlbyDangles on another northern excursion.Decided to walk this track, right out to lieu-pine-ner (The Long Point) / Point Sorell, and so find the caches along the way. A nice warm sunny day. Plenty of marsupial and bird wildlife, luckily no snakes! It's good to have these stops for searches along the way.A quick find by AlbyDangles as per the listed description. Thanks Angus88, for this caching experience.Cheers, EPs. 3651 - Saturday 23rd September 2023@1255hrs

Cache in good condition thanks for the find.
Went past the 'track stops here' sign and had some interesting bushwacking experiences for this series. Ran out of time for the last two. Cache in good order. Thanks.
Out and about caching with all the Rafas for our holidays TFTC TNLN log dry, an easy find at GZ. Great views and just in time to get back for sunset.
Thanks for the cache Angus88.
Today was the afternoon to see if we could get to the end of the caches out along this bit of coast. After successfully exhausting the two GeoGSP's int he morning, they stayed behind, and it was time to set off.....just after 4pm.
It was always going to be tricky to get back before dark at 7.30pm'ish, but you gotta give these things a go.
These last six caches were exhausting - either boulderhopping (the low road - see log from The Hancock clan) or trying to find a track through thick tea-tree or long clumps of grass where you couldn't quite see the ground - and it was a sunny day, so I was very snake wary! Luckily none were spotted - doesn't mean they weren't there!
Thankfully it was a beautiful autumn afternoon - sunny, not windy, and the views are beautiful.
Approached this one from the low road, which meant stepping through long clumps of thick grass to get to GZ - probably not the best approach, I wished I was wearing gaiters. Got there in the end.

There are 7 caches out here from the end of the track to Point Sorell which we needed to log. Today was the day ! Sunny but rather windy (B.O.M. rating .... gale force), so we decided to make a bee-line to Lieu-Pine-Ner to do the logs with our backs to the wind. On the way out to the Point we came across an echidna scrambling its way across the rocks down near the water. Managed to get one quick pic before it got wind of me, and buried its face and activated its defences. Thanks for this little string of caches Angus 88.

Maintenance hike today. Cache moved to a more open area. Co-ords updated accordingly.
Had a good trip on the way in here! Got there though! 9km into my run. Loving the beautiful winters day. Such a perfect area. Can’t wait to come back in summer for a swim.
With Easter off from work, it was a good opportunity to try and close the gap on my target for the year. 500 finds for the year is the target, and this run brought me up to 230 odd, so only 3 months in I am on track for this target.
The highlight (and hardest part of this day) was the walk out to the cache Lieu-Pine-Ner at Point Sorell. The walk was challenging due to the number of rocks being very uneven. I was hoping 2 hours, but in the end it took 3 hours. Geo Kid O was still going strong at the end, but it had taxed me.
Thank you for placing this cache and maintaining it.
I was all over the place trying to find this cache. Eventually found the correct bunch of rocks where the cache was

Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a windy autumn day and found your cache along the way as we headed out to the point to complete these caches. The tide was in and made it a longer trip as we had to follow the shore all the way making our way through the prickly long grass. The views were great, a pleasant walk to the end.
Cache and contents were in good condition, some were harder to find than others.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers around Port Sorell, Squeaking Point, Shearwater and Hawley area and this was one that was targetted. A nice day for a wander even though it was very windy. TFTC
A very hot day to be doing this flat but strenuous walk. When we arrived at the east coordinates for this one we realised we had to head south so we stood on a tallish rock and located the lichen rock we needed. It was surrounded by long grass like plants so Mrs Beetle left this one to Mr Beetle as she didn't fancy entering what looked like a snaky area.
It took a while to find this one though, perhaps because there was only one set of eyes looking for it.
Thanks.

I have walked this trail previously and after seeing this new series I knew I would return, I parked up and made a jog out to the first cache, some of these required a bit of a bush bash and searching others were easy. I can’t see these lasting too long unfortunately due to the nature of the cache hides but otherwise a nice walk out here
Today I headed up to Hawley beach and Devonport to find a few caches that had even toy been published in the area, a nice few walks and a STF by 30seconds.
Thanks for the cache

This is the second time we've done the rock hopping, fence hugging, tree bashing agony of a walk !
Actually it's a really good work out
Nice little hide, really enjoyed this one.

The weather was superb this afternoon and with Daylight Saving having started, it was an ideal opportunity to head out to look for the six new caches on the western side of the mouth of the Rubicon River. We were pleased that we had procrastinated a little after four had been published because there were now six to search for - walking our here twice within a short period of time would not have been a preferred option. We remembered, from a cache hunt many years ago, that it wasn't an easy walk. Mrs y'stassie coped quite well with the rock clambering but the other half of the team struggled.
Mr y'stassie went to look for this one armed only with his phone as Mrs y'stassie had taken the trusty GPS to look for the two caches which were a little further west. It took a while to locate the cache as there were many possible places to search within the range of the phone's navigation. After about 10 minutes, the cache was located. At that point the phone app said that the cache was 5m away (plus or minus 10 metres). The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Angus88 for this cache and the additional cache in the area.

Another day geocaching up north. The sun is out and the wind is dropping so our plans for today will be some low tide caches and then do the walk to the point to find Lieu-Pine-Ner and the caches in between.
Parked the car ready to head to the point. Decided to grab any caches between the car park and the point! Quick find for this one.

Thank you Angus 88 for this new series of caches which I saw published last night. Continuing my walk on a sunny but windy afternoon I found myself sitting on the round rock signing the log at 02:28 p.m. All Co-ordinates were good leading to quick finds.
