Took advantage of doing a maintenance run on behalf of T-rex to tick off more smileys in the series.
No one in parking area , a quick hike through the bush for about 70 metres . Located GZ after opening up the search . Loving this theme . TFTC
A quick find after a short walk. We were somewhat apprehensive that we would be able to find a parking spot, but this was allayed as the crowd at the nearby Rugby Park had thinned due to the Shoalies being up 68 to 0. Thanks for the cache T-rex 11
#2397 A quick trip into the bushland soon ended in the discovery of the . Thanks T-Rex 11 for placing and maintaining this cache.
Find Number 2294 found at 10:42. Today we found 3 caches and had 0 DNFs.
A trip to Bunnings in Nowra was followed by an attempt to get three more caches for the September souvenirs. I had DNFed Scooby Doo Mystery #6 some time ago, so this was an attempt to avenge the DNF.
Heading back to the Rugby Park made a short detour to get another Dino Daze for my collection. This took me even longer than the previous one, but I did eventually spot it hiding.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found

Parked close by & used this as my lockdown daily exercise walk as it's inbetween daycare & home. Nice little find to the sound of kookaburras & other birds.

A nice short walk in from the closest spot I could park and a quick find once I spotted the shine! A great little cache to mark off my birthday! Thanks
Like the new series with lots of new caches around Nowra, has been a while since that many caches came up here. Quick and easy find here.

Rounded up the usual suspects early this morning and headed out to see what we might find today, which turned out to be twenty-plus caches on the day and included five different cache types and a variety of terrains. Thanks to the cache owners for taking the time to make our game more interesting and enjoyable.
Teamed up with Bonfire7 and 154Crows for a day of caching. Picked off more than a dozen physical caches and a few Adventure Lab experiences. Nearly all caches were found in good condition. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to this recreational activity.
WOOHOO ANOTHER [FTF]
Today is the 9th November 2020 and I managed to find 75 Caches for the day with my friend Loci612. It was an amazing day of caching. We had no DNFs for the day and we also got a grand total of 37 FTFs. We spent a total of almost 14 hours caching and I was dog tied at the end of it all. One of the highlights for the day were seeing a Lyrebird and almost hitting a kangaroo head on at 90kmph (just Missed Him). In total I drove 770kms but I love geocaching so much and the friends I have made along the way make it all worthwhile.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it. Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache but with 75 finds including the 37 FTFs it is hard to write a different one for each cache.
ALL CACHES WERE SIGNED DSD. ALL CACHES WERE FOUND IN GOOD ORDER UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. THANKS FOR THE CACHE AND THE ADVENTURE.
I have included my one of a kind Geocache Poem with this log for future readers to enjoy.
Geocache Poem

My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
***** I am currently writing more detailed logs than usual. This is because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author" Badge. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to write an average of one hundred words or more in each Found It log. As of 9th November 2020 my average was 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 7600 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 160 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

*FTF* with DSD @ 2:33 pm
After grabbing a single FTF up in Exeter, we had the option of going for another FTF 30 minutes down the road, or 8 FTF's all the way in Nowra in the opposite direction!
It was a 1 hour and 10 minute drive to the first cache which wasn't too bad, so we decided to go for it! As we were driving down through the windy roads, I noticed more were being published here! And 8 new caches soon turned into 15! With 15 caches up for grabs the anticipation was high as we raced towards the coast!
Managed to sign a blank logbook in all 15 caches, with the first one at 1:30pm and the last one at 3:33pm we did it in 2 hours! No breaks and a quick pace throughout, the only thing slowing us down was a couple of tough finds, one I gave up on and started walking back to the car when DSD spied it last minute just as he was about to call it quits too! How lucky!
Thanks for this series T-rex 11, I would say most caches are at minimum D2, and a couple D2.5 - 3 due to their small size in such dense bush areas, but we were extremely thankful and happy about the coordinates being quite accurate within a 5m radius at every cache, so well done on the great readings despite all the tree cover! That certainly made things better and narrowed down the options!
