Today was a drive down to Wollombi and picking up what we can along the way. An overcast cool day, but still enjoyable. Not sure how we would vote, but either way, the road needs some work, only one nice smooth stretch.Total Caches Found 16181TFTC Coopdawg017
Found at 12:14 PM GAFF3.These towns around here are old, but it seems not as old as our town which is 277 kms north - how does that happen? Port Macquarie was established in 1821, however as a penal settlement I must admit. This cache was found at a distance of 8 metres which is ok, but it took a few minutes to find as it was well covered! Thanks to Coopdawg017Feedback: Only two cache hides - c'mon get out there and place some more for us to find
Heading north we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them while staying at Cessnock.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

With large numbers of family present I was starting to get a little over crowded so I got a few hours quiet time to grab some supplies and collect a few geocaches. Thought these would be mainly park and grabs but some were a bit more challenging (and three I couldn’t locate) but a nice run anyway.
Parked a bit past and walked back. Hunted a hit (not certain why the nice obvious hide has not been used but anyway). Was struggling to find so just went Systematic over a 20 metre stretch and eventually spotted.

I had a nice drive in the country to get this one. Found it fairly quickly. TFTC
Thanks for checking. I dont know how i missed this the second time i was here. TFTC.
I am gradually catching up with my logging - I'm missing two months worth or so. And that's over 100 caches! At least my most recent finds are up to date - just need to fill in the gap!
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, I just have to put my mind to my future goals... 25 per day? Owwww.
Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Headed up to the Hunter for a real cache binge today. Many were little more than park and grabs, but I was glad to snaffle a few Multis and a bonus for the AL.
Final count for the day - 20. Top haul on a pleasant day out.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Not for me today.
Decided to cut my losses.

I noticd this had been moved, so decided to head this way and pick it up this morning. I must be jinxed against this cache. Searched 20 metres either side of the new coords, but it must be well comoed, as i did not spot it.
For some reason my app didn't update to new coords all good found through a waypoint..container and bag in great condition but no log paper added a new replacement log good to go

I've checked today For Coopdawg and the container is missing. We will replace it when I get back from Sydney.
Good find but be careful with the cars and put in a pac man and took out bowling pin
Easy to spot and grab. Suspect this one experiences frequent cache creep due to the type of hide.
Thanks for placing!

A week ago when we left Coffs Harbour for our holiday in the Hunter we bought a pack of red frogs for the drive. I know we had one or two but then put them somewhere in the car so we didn’t overload on them. However for a week they went MIA.
It was raining when we pulled up so I ran over for a quick look and left Mrs Woodyrothwell in the car. I didn’t find the cache but my wife found the red frogs that we had been crying over like a long lost friend. Whilst chewing down I read about some adjusted coordinates from a prior log and this time was able to come up with the goods. tftc

Despite pretty lousy weather at home, we trusted the weather bureau advice - 'showers only along the coastal fringe', and headed west, we had a milestone cache to find....
Not so fast here, checking logs indicated we needed to head to Paxton. Samuel spotted it eventually. Coopdawg, you should probably submit an 'Update coordinates' log for a 21m move.... we took a set of coordinates today - S32 53.753 E151 16.381, not averaged much, but will be a good start.... TFTC!

Doing some caching in the Hunter Valley region with illook4geo today and enjoying the caches and the views that the area has to offer. The container and log here were in good condition, with the log being signed with either both full names or sometimes just initials. Thanks go to Coopdawg017 for replacing this cache. The distance away from the posted co-ords is accurate.
Out caching with goingplaces2 and enjoying the day. This was an easy find in its new place. TFTC.
The cache was missing. Coopdawg and I have now replaced it. However, it is now 21m from the original position towards Paxton. It is well hidden.
DNF! Found by Gibbo455 a few months ago but went to find it today and it may be missing!
I could see the container from the car as I parked, it stood out well against all the new green grass. Thanks for the hide.

Maitland Day 4, camped at the showgrounds.
As the others headed to complete the dogs head we headed south to Cessnock then continued through to Hillfield & Wollombi. We had a couple of AL to do & a variety of caches to find.
We enjoyed our drive into the countryside away from the bustle of the city & cars.
We did well only the last cache of the day having a DNF
Thankyou Coopdawg017 for placing this cache.

Thanks. Quick park and grab on a rainy day with the sleeping baby in the back of the car. Nice and close to home too. Now I just have to find your other one.
catching up on very late logging. found with banj5150 , may be signed as beary_unicorns or thusbruv_sqrd due to username changes. tftc
Found with Beary_Unicorns on a very windy day.

**FTF** saw these ones come up last night and with me on Dad duty today with a sick kid who is not allowed into daycare, what better way to spend some tome together!
A quick find with good coords. A really good effort for your second ever hide. Camo on top has started to peel. Well done and keep up the good work! TNLN TFTC
Edit: just realised how the log sounds in these COVID times! Rest assured you are all safe from us! ️️️
