Cache not there and area contains quite a lot of litter and other items since the cache was placed there in 2002.
Found WP1 easily, even though the birds weren't being very friendly today, and satloc was continually poor. Then did the walk up the creek bed to GZ. You'll be pleased to know that the campsite is still there at the halfway point, complete with wheelchair (does that mean the cache is wheelchair accessible?)
However I spent ages at GZ looking for the cache, giving me plenty of time to wonder what that hint meant. Hmm second rule of the outback... Be kind to your fellow cacher? Even had a car pull up and ask if I was okay, out here poking around in 40 degree heat .
Looking back through the logs now, it looks like others have had similar experiences, so I don't feel so bad about not being able to find it. Unfortunately the GeoCoopers website seems to have disappeared, along with its promise of a spoiler photo. Oh well, I may return one day for another session of masochism...

This was well worth the walk when the water was flowing. Ended up with a muddy back side, but it was fantastic to do such an early cache. The campsite was still there. Abandoned?
Thanks for this walk.

A nice walk in a park so close to suburia, so nice that there is a camp on the way to GZ. No problems with WP or GZ. TFTC
I wrote that I left a tennis ball, but forgot it after feeling my feet slipping an eyeing off the nice big puddle inches away.
This is find #100, and was easier than the stars indicate. I was aiming for another of Team GeoCoopers caches nearby - Sleeps Hill Trio - got to point C and decided a map and more tiem were essential to complete this cache.

Since training was at flagstaff hill there was some time to kill between work and training, so caching was in order. Glad i changed out of my work clothes before leaving!!!!
Made the trip in twice as hard as it needed to be, before finding a much easier path out!!! i managed to stay on my feet, despite approaching WP1 from the wrong side of the creek.
Plotted final GZ, and moved off towards that to make a reasonably easy find, after a few mins.

Had a nice slippery slide on this one after the recent rain. In fact I went for a nice tumble and ended up with lots of mud on my pants and shirt, but nothing else broken. No "funniest home videos" recording nearby, but it would have been a contender! Very nicely hidden final location. TNLN.
Got this at our 3rd try. Ran out of time when we got the first stage. Then was confounded by it when we first went looking for stage 2. Returned today with the whole crew and found it quickly.
Took green mouse, left boy statuette.
Thanks

Found WP1 too hard to get to so went straight to where we thought it was. Secured a find using the logs and the piccy without the GPS. Great spot for a hide!!! Will be more cautious driving this way in the future!!

Man did this one have a lot of yucky bugs.... and scary drops:) was hunting down the TB, unfortunately was discovered a couple minutes prior by Team Cache Nerds.. the buggers...
Finally found this one, after a couple of goes. A great old relic of the past, bomb shelter? [:o)] Not much water today, and that may account for why I didn't find it previously, after torrential rains in Dec!! Actually thought I'd looked there before, but you know what 'Thought thought'!!
This is the 1st of a 4 on a 'cleanup old or hard cache' day!
Left a patch TNSL
Thanks Geocoopers
PS: still working on your 'Sleeps Hill Trio' nearby! An extra hint wouldn't go astray after spending 2 hrs on it yesterday!

Beaker: "be careful Ni its slippery & theres a pool of water down here you dont want to fall in."
Me: "Yeah I know, ill be carefu....ARRGGGHHHH!!!"
I was then clinging on to a tree for dear life
Cool tunnal!!!

A top spot near the end of a busy caching day with Parrothead and Ni. What an awesome old structure this is. Had good fun going up and down the tunnel before locating the cache.

I have wanted to do this one ever since we did the Windy Point look out cache. Last week I made a start and today I finally put this one to bed today.
Almost the last cache on a big day out with Beaker's Bunch.
A lot of exploring and I went back to check gps position and notes and then Beaker came up a winner. Happy to join in the festivity of logging the find. We had a great time playing in the tunnel.
Great cache thanks

Went for a walk an found the first waypoint.
It was still wet and slippery as I continued on so I turned back and decided to let it dry out a bit more before having another go.

I loved this cache! Everything went right - took the best option for site 1 - coordinates exact. Chanced the easy option for site 2 - coordinates to the nearest metre! What a great spot. Of the thousands of people that would tranverse this daily, how many would realise its amazing structure from below? Now on to the next cache(?), and back to reality(!). Cheers, FeatherWaite.
We're glad we approached this from the direction that we did A pleasant walk and we finally found it after deciding to finally quit (should say that much earlier on). The creek was flowing quite a bit and the plunge pool near the cache hampered our search a bit. Made good use of the head torch we brought with us! TNLNSL.
This cache has everything; perilous, slippery drops in winter and probably snakes as well in summer!
While finding the first part of this multi I felt that it might be fairer if Team GeoCoopers changed their name to something like Team GeoSadism .
After gaining the coordinates for the cache itself I felt much more certain about this.
Sadly by the time I got to GZ I had run out of time and failed to find the cache with a quick, cursory look but I'll be back again soon now I know where to look.
EDIT. Went back and found it after a bit of fossicking.

found first cache no problems, then headed for second coordinates. WOW cool tunnel. searched for 15min but with no joy will have to return when it's not so wet..
Yesterday I found part one, and had a nice walk up the creek to spend ~1 hour at location 2, to no avail. Returned today, and went straight to it! Neat hidy hole ... this one certainly would be interesting if there was 2m of water flowing through here! Quite enjoyed the walk up the creek yesterday, but was also quite shocked at the amount of rubish in the area. How on earth is it possible for there to be so many tyres here? Surely there weren't deliberately dumped here?!!
Thanks GeoCoopers ... a great cache ...

Found the first part last week but ran out of time. Went looking for part 2 today but not clever enough to find it. Interesting spot - I've lived within 2km of this for years and never been here before. I guess I'll be coming back again to have another look! Plenty of rubbish really saddens me when I visit a place like this which should be so pristine.

Had a nice walk up to this one. Very interesting walk along the creek and a good spot for CITO, you would need a mini skip or two for all the rubbish.

Great cache. Pity there is so much rubbish around. It would be VERY interesting to do this during mid winter. Took pooh bear and left mouse and klem bear. Thanks Team GeoCoopers.
Quite some craftwork involved in the construction. It seems there are many ways to approach these caches from. I think I picked a couple of the harder ones for this cache! Took a smiley clip and left a big smiley face (not only my own upon finding!) Also dropped off 'Key to the city' TB. Cheers
In the quest of one more key we found it. Quite interesting after the recent heavy rains, especially near the end. Kids were very impressed. Took 2 lions and left a glitter notebook.
Found this one on my second visit. Maybe after doing Troll this helped to give me an idea.
A very intriquing mystery about where the plants in the creek come from. Also it has gained a car battery since the last time I was here.
I had been in the same location several time on the last visit and didn't know just how close I was.

What an interesting final location, and a great cache in general. Thoroughly enjoyed the journey through the secluded world the cache is located in. Took nothing, but deposited the “Key to the Heart†TB. Thanks for a wonderful hide Team GeoCoopers
Went up the creek the hard way from the lookout then was not able to located the final GZ. Was there about an hour before finally walking back up the road to the car. Sorry, but will try again another time. Beaten but only temporarily.
Tried for this a few weeks ago and walked up from point A but no find. Decided to try again now another of Langy's keys had shown up here. As I arrived by road heard voices from the other side of the bridge, a look showed Gwyndigo heading up the hill. Found the cache while they were coming through the tunnel and retrieved the key, before handing the cache to Gwyndigo who promptly found a large black spider which lead to much shouting [:o)] No other swaps, thanks GeoCoopers.
Quite an adventure! Found stage 1 without too much trouble, only to reach stage 2 and find GPS unwilling to be even remotely helpful. Much spelunking later, we'd checked both sides several times and come up empty. We were busted by Richary while doing a final pass through, and then ambushed by a huge hairy thing with fangs.
Great fun. Thanks.
Great fun. Thanks.
Had a lot of good exercise on this one. I walked fron the first point to the final GZ. One there it took me nearly an hour to find the cache. Their was a lot of water flowing.
Took a SCSI terminator and left a yo-yo.
Dropped off the Code key TB.

Found it...finally. Secured the first waypoint with ease. Attempted to reach the next waypoint and the cache by foot. The track started getting more narrow, less used and steeper the closer we got...that wasn't a good sign! Headed back to the vehicle and took the easy route. Took Koala Bear keyrind, left Flintsones collectable (still in it's wrapper) from a McDonald promotion in 1992!. Thx T/GeoCoopers. Cheers Rav4Raiders
Oops, did this a while ago while but lost the printout and didn't realise I had not logged it. Anyway, I spent quite a while looking for the small cache container but once I had the final coords I charged for the final destination. Then walked down the road back to my car (which was probably more dangerous than scrambling down the goat track back to my car). TNLN. c
Dropped by, picked up travel bug, taking to Tullamarine, ie a big airport.

Used to live nearby, rode my bike past here thousands of times up & down this hill since early 1960's. Knew location from description. And have walked through this tunnel lots of times before also. Went straight to number 2, found it Cooeee.
PS I heard cries in the dark calling out "its too windy and dark in here, help !!!" The TB didnt like it here, so I'm taking him to a place where he can see his friends and relatives.

At last
On our third (proper) visit - one sort of cursory stop not included - used the B&W picture on the Team GeoCoopers Web Site - must get me one of those - and Louise was pleased to find it as she had done most of the leg (?) work.
Took a frog and left a Winne the Pooh Pencil Sharpener (GIGO).
Thanks (for nothing) Team GeoCoopers!

Now I am cold, wet and grumpy! And in January! There cannot be a stone left unturned there - except for the one where the cache is! [?]
Spent another hour there - took a torch this time and the kids (they lost interest after 30 minutes). This one will not defeat us!
Was going to take a bag for the rubbish but in the scramble to leave home we forgot! Maybe it is a sign!

Hi Langy. Stopped by and checked it, and yep it's still there right where it has always been. Unfortunatley the area has become quite littered from when we placed the cache [:(!]. Maybe some geocachers could stop by the final GZ of this one on the way up to visit the now clean place where the Kevin's Wombles live .
Found the first part of this one after deciding to NOT climb down the hill over the barrier. Eventually found it after becoming very sweaty, prickled and sober after Christmas lunch! Thanks.
As for the location of the final cache - we'll be buggered, but we spent nearly an hour there and found SFA but plenty of potential hiding places.
Does this need a checkup?
Team Langy!

Great day for this walk. There was a bit of water flowing which made the jump up in the dark interesting. The kids picked a whole bag of mushrooms on the trail. If I don't log any more caches, you know they were toxic!
Cache was very well hidden, and spotted after about a 5 min hunt. We took a super ball and left 3 toys, a star and an astronaut. Thanx CG..about time I did this one!!!
Clear skies

My fourth visit, and this time success. Persistence pays off (clues help). Took nothing but left Coop's Poopin Pig TB. Thanks GeoCoopers

Found by Mary & David at 1455. A bit unnerving hearing the frequent squeal of brakes and screech of tyres from up above. Could have been in Italy as we made our way through the groves of olives everywhere. Maybe the well worn track is the sign of a bountiful harvest? Also a bit worried about the number of car tyres along the trail - do motorists treat this place as a bowling alley looking for a geocacher strike? Pleasantly surprised at how quickly we found the waypoint and the cache. We don't mind regular size containers, but don't always get on so well with micros. The cache seemed a bit depleted, so we took nothing, left a ball, a keyring koala and a small Pooh Bear. Hopefully we can join you in a bottle of Vintage Coopers at the next opportunity - our thanks to the GeoCoopers team.
Wow – this was a toughie. First of all I approached from the wrong point. I came from ‘Windy Scandal’ site straight to the first location – I’d strongly advise against that, I’m sure there’s an easier way! Anyway, once there, took 5 mins to find the first location, and then around 1/2 an hour to find the final spot. Mind you, I really liked the spot once I found it. Took a frog, and left Ghan Conditioner. Thanks Team GeoCoopers!
I can't belive how many times recently I've missed others at a cache my mear hours!
Found at 11:00
Took a while, but I got around to going back and taking another look. Don't know why I didn't find it the first time! Well placed!
Took the map light, and left a ray gun!
Also, the V8 block is still there.

Well done team GC!!
This one had us stumped for a while, but finally moved on to part 2. This one had us beat for a long while, but shows that persistance does pay off!
Had a lot of trouble with getting a lock. we saw just about every square inch of the area!
Thanks guys!

Stopped by to check the cache on my way home from visiting the two week old Samuel. The youngest addition to the GeoCoopers Team.
It's still there. Seeing as no one has been able to find part two on the first visit I'm adding another star to the difficulty rating.
Found the first one at 13:02.
Nice location.
Couldn't find the second one, I must be blind.
I'll tray again later!
Bonus point for those who go direct from The Great Windy Scandal!

After the previous look in the hole we sought some serious advice. The cache was there but the V8 block was gone. Is this a case of cache in garbage out or was there more rain than I thought last week.
I might be a bit of a Jonah but I think blue heels will probably be right in the long run.
Great hunting spot though once you are in there you can search to your hearts content.
Wish the mozzies would go away!!

Found the first spot without too much trouble. Went to the second spot. You don't me to go down ther do you? Went down anyway. No luck with any caches, although I think there is a fossilised V8 in residence. Decided I should came back with a torch and a clue or two.

Pretty interesting spot... especially at 2:30am.. and when it's raining...
Left a SCSI Terminator and I thought I took the fridge magnet, but I think I left it behind.
Found on our second attempt. Interesting area - we just keep discovering more and more about Adelaide. Found with a little help - happened to have the owner of the cache drop by on his way to another in the area. Took the keyfinder which wouldn't whistle when we wanted it to and wouldn't stop once we got it in the car - left a 12v maplight. Thanks Team Geocoopers for another interesting cache.
I walked down from Piggy's Snakey Surprise and found part one without too much mucking around. Then on to part two where I spent lots of time up, down & side to side with no success. I shall return. (BTW who was that tooting and waving as they beetled down the hill?, vaguely goateed but was that a WRX?)
Found it on the second visit. It turns out we were looking about 8 metres away from the correct spot, but only looked for abt 15 minutes before we had to leave. I notice the cheat has been improved since then too.
Found part 1 at about 5pm. It was actually really close to where we had tied the dog while we searched. Headed off for part two smelling of onion weed.
Got to part 2 location, spent 10 minutes looking in the wrong area. Went to a nice open spot which gave us a good position for the cache. Even knowing this, it is pretty hard to find.
Fortunately, at about 5:20 I caught a glimpse of the reflective disc inside the container. Naturally I took that. Replaced it with one of those keyrings you whistle for - good riddance.
The gully there is a nice spot for a walk. Thanks TGC

Went looking for cache mid afternoon. Met Team Unicycle at the parking area. They had had limited time and could not locate the cache. We located the general area easily and enjoyed the pituresque walk. The GPS was a little confused by the trees and unfortunately we had no luck. The area is already well trampled and we saw Team Unicycles motive scratched on a rock so we knew they had been searching the same area. We gave up after about 40 minutes after disturbing 3 brown snakes - one of them the biggest we had ever seen.
