Map was glitchy, looked all around the place and pulled lots of stick, but to no avail. Perhaps it was damaged in recent rains. DNF.
Back for another look today on our way to visit Fish Creek. Same result as last time. How many sticks do you need to pull to find this thing? Bush is getting a bit trampled.
While at Wilsons Promontory we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
A great theme for this series, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks Lidogger for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Well for Pete's sake, I must've pulled every stick in existence and even then came up empty handed. As we were about to call it quits BlueBM spied it as he was walking off. Glad we found this pesky little cache, thanks CO ....but...stick? Still don't know which stick or why?
A trip to check out all the awesome places in eastern Victoria. TFTC.
Took a while to find about to give up but went back for another try after reading some logs.

No luck today. Kids and I looked everywhere, pulled on lots of sticks but still could not find.
No more luck here than at #2. Mrs P and myself moving on after a very short search. Nanos in the bush aren't my cup of tea.
This cache was the first one we approached today. We appreciated the safe place to park right near GZ. A'Tuin is not a small Geomobile. We jumped out, eager to find the cache to get us off to a great start for the day. Unfortunately, it was not the result we had hoped for. We both went to where our GPS's said GZ was, albeit 8 or so meters apart. After looking thoroughly for quite a few minutes, we walked out from under the canopy and let our GPS's settle. This gave us both the same location to look in. We looked for about ten minutes more and then started reading the hint and the previous logs. The hint had us none the wiser as it looks like this is Ground Zero for a stick convention. It also looks like the string winds of a few nights ago have created many more sticks, branches, and logs. After around 45 minutes, we ran up the white flag and drove off slightly dejected.
Tried to start with this one, not sure what is required. Find a micro in the bushes, not sure which bushes, would love a more direct hint
Woohoo find 213!
And that’s a wrap! Final one in the series and time to make our way back, that was fun

Visited cache, changed the location slightly so should be easier to find but still at same GZ

Enjoying a day out with our caching buddies and stopped to find this cache whilst travelling from Waratah Bay to Walkerville. Despite 4 sets of eyes having a pretty thorough search we did not have any success. We will return.
Missing one bit of fruit from today’s fruit bowl. Will be back another time. Great series and local walk.
Wowee that was tricky to find We looked everywhere, high and low, determined to find the last one in the series. About to admit defeat, we resorted to a PAF, who was able to point us in the right direction. Even with help, it still took another 10 mins to locate. The hide is different in style to the others in the series and we walked away with many sword grass cuts for our efforts! Still, super satisfying to finish this series, thanks so much Lidogger (and kbucky!)
Congratulations to Lidogger on a fabulous series of 5. I chose to walk from cache 1 to the top and back. Delayed gratification really and the hard yakka to the top made me determined to find this fifth one. A fabulous walk, different terrain, types of bush, lots of muddy bits (thanks for tip to wear appropriate shoes) Just over 7km round trip but totally worth it. These are my favourite types of caches, the ones that get you out to explore and exercise at the same time. Look forward to your next adventure. Cheers from kbucky

We decided to try this first and I’d walk down the hill to find the rest in the series. The_Evil_Muggle had a pretty good search in the vicinities the Electronic Finding Device indicated for a good ten minutes or more before Kashbound joined us before we gave up and had a late lunch. We did find the possum and disturbed it from its drey, but nothing else of note. After lunch we abandoned our previous plan and drove town to Waratah Bay for more caches. We’ll try another day.
No luck on this one maybe the possums ate it ? Found surefoot & co searching when l arrived on the scene so l joined in but no sighting of this elusive grape, l shall return, thanks for the series lidogger
Didn’t find as we were in a bit of a hurry but we did find a “nest” built of twigs and grasses about chest height that contained a really cute baby possum. We were left to wonder if the cache was hidden in there and the possums took over the hidey hole?
