Find number 14490 at 3:06:43pm on Saturday the 19 October 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we headed off from Ceduna on our way to Port Lincoln area via the west coast of the Eyre Peninsula grabbing a few more local geocaches as we go.Stopped in to grab this and another nearby and was lucky to avoid being sighted by the tradie working in the hall.**Thanks for placing this cache equipe de cinq**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
We are on our way back over to the West for a friends memorial service but this trip we are taking our time , enjoying the drive and picking up a few caches and taking in the scenery. We are mainly concentrating on Ad Labs, Earth caches and Virtual's as these don't give you any muggle problems. Of course there will be others in between. We are really enjoying these Used 2b a church micro caches and how they are popping up all over Australia. We are more used to seeing plaques and ruins when we visit these sights but this one appeared to be in very good condition. We collected the required information and then headed off to gz for a nice easy find in a logical location. We added our name to the log before returning everything as it was. Many thanks for another in this series..
My partner and I are on a road trip from the NSW/Vic border to WA for a wedding. We are collecting caches as we go and seeing lots of interesting places we have never visited. We collected the numbers for this one and I mucked up one of them so was looking in the wrong spot briefly. After readjusting the coordinates, we found it with no problems at all.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 12 - Port Lincoln to Elliston via several small roadside spots. After my travels down the east side of the Eyre Peninsula showed me more and bigger towns than I expected, on todays travels up the west side of the peninsula, there were a few settlements, but they were all very small and it is much windier on this side. Elliston where I stayed the night at the golf course RV park, was smaller than any of the other regional council towns I have visited, but they did have a nice pug where I had dinner. The days caching was pretty much all roadside caching until the end with some of the Elliston caches being out on coastal cliffs and the jetty. Things are getting more outback every day now.Today was mostly roadside stops where I squeezed the van onto the edge of the road or a parking bay and walked the remaining distance to the cache. Found with no issues today. Thanks for the cache equipe de cinq46678.8 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2012 Compass Rose Kilimanjaro A#246**Albida**
On a day drive to Coffin Bay. Seen lot's of videos of the area. Good to be here in real life. Highlight of the day was seeing 4 emus walking around the main Street in town.
Back in Pt. Lincoln visiting family and finally the weather is on the improve. Headed out here to turn a blue face into a smiley, this was quickly achieved and we managed to do some bird watching at the same time. Thanks to The Evil Pagan Clan for this multi tftc
Found while visiting Port Lincoln for the week. Today I did a loop around town, then headed out to complete a circuit along the Flinders and Tod Highways out to Wanilla, and returning to Lincoln along the unsealed backroads. After a good search I got the ok from the CO to make a replacement. Thanks for the cache equipe de cinq!
Always on a multi mission! Good to see a it’s a community asset. Out exploring the trail and sights. Finally in Port Lincoln with time to do a nice day trip to the lovely Coffin Bay. Day 17 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its a fab day. The Ikera- Flinders Ranges, Whyalla, Port Lincoln and a few in between caches are high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game.
Found with richlink during our 2022 South Australia Adventure using Geocaching as our guide.

Heading out with ILT to cache north of Coffin Bay. Beautiful day to be out. Cache definitely missing. Hope you don’t mind that we replaced it.? Delete our log if you do. Thanks for the hide.

Another find for today after exploring Port Lincoln conservation Park today SL TFTC
One good thing that has come out of the Covid situation, is the need to holiday in your home state. With a week or so to spend away, we decided to head to Port Lincoln - a place we had not visited before. Our second day in the area was spent exploring the Coffin Bay area, and what better way to find all the interesting spots, than to find the caches which had been hidden.
Last find for the day. TFTC

As our journey took us further south while travelling with ilook4geo, we had to pick up a few caches along the way. There was no problem in locating the caches on the run sheet for the day and each found log was signed. All was then replaced as found and we were on our way again. Thanks go to The Evil Pagan Clan for placing this cache.
On our way to Port Lincoln with goingplaces2 and doing some caching as well. No Problem in finding this one, log was signed, all was replaced. Job done! TFTC.
TFTC. Was found out in open, have placed it back (hopefully) in the right spot.
Happy caching and safe travels!

Got the required info, but not the cache.
Searched for awhile, even resorted to looking at the clue. Still no luck for us today. Probably a case of caching blindness.

I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

On a road trip around the Mid North and Eyre Peninsula, geocaching as I go. Predominantly targeting old caches, solved mysteries and grabbing some interesting looking traditionals.
Quick calculation, search and find on my way through to Coffin Bay.
Thanks for the cache The Evil Pagan Clan.

Another hit for this addiction of mine. Am I sinning? Luckily there are enough of these around to seemingly keep me busy for a long while yet. TFTC
Excellent little church. The reno work is coming a long. No longer a used2be soon... This one was a top priority for us so with both smiled after the cache was signed. Nothing evil here!
Thanks to equipe de cinq and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
*STF* Second to Find joint with [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) at 08:51 hr.
During our new years break, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula to travel around the various coastal towns. We started the trip with Jeep trouble, but then continued in our alternative vehicle without 4WD to stick to the main tourist roads where possible. We travelled south-west to Tumby Bay and Port Lincoln via Whyalla, Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay; west across to Coffin Bay; and then north-west to Streaky Bay and Ceduna via Elliston, and Venus Bay. We then headed back east staying in Kimba via Poochera, Wudinna, Lock, and Darke Peak.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Tumby Bay to Coodlie Park. Our first main stop was at Coffin Bay, where we enjoyed a fantastic oyster farm tour experience. We then headed north, making stops at Greenly Beach, Elliston, and then visited Talia Caves as the sun started to get low. Not a bad weather day, although there was still some wind about.
The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks The Evil Pagan Clan aka. equipe de cinq for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Brad and Janet had planned an interstate trip at this time but that was not going to work so we headed for Eyre Peninsula instead. A night at Pr Augusta, 3 at Cowell, 5 at Pt Lincoln, and two at Venus Bay was the plan.
On day 2 in Port Lincoln we headed for Coffin Bay and along the way it seemed like a good idea to stop and find this one.
Straightforward calculations led us to an obvious EDC hide where the cache was found in the firsr place checked. It seems the locals are not that keen on chasing FTFs as the log sheet was blank
On to Coffin Bay
