Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in beautiful Port Elliot for a few days to cache the area. Heading to Victor Harbour on a cold day. Thanks for the find. LCNU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Our last day in Port Elliot finds us cleaning up a few more caches before we hit the road again. TFTC LNCU.
Found while staying in Victor Harbor for a few days. Headed out in the afternoon for a walk across to Grantite Island, back into town, then a quick trip around the district to search for a few caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Au Cook Family!
Oh so this is where Greenhills used to be, have heard of it but its been a while since its existence. Nicely cammoed cache for a built up area, this was another cache we dont know why we hadnt done before now but its done now.We googled it to find out a bit more, very interesting too.OriginGreenhills Adventure Park was founded by Margaret and Bill McKenzie, with Rosemary and Tom Builder, in 1982, and opened in 1983. It was a ten-hectare (about 25 acre) plot of land with over 20 attractions. To assist in maintain the park during its peak season, Meg Whibley was hired as Managing Director, along with three full time staff and 30 seasonal staff.ClosureIn 2009, Margaret and Bill McKenzie sold the land to land developers Daniel McOmish and Dean Kyros, who wished to build 66 property allotments over the course of a four-stage development plan. The park continued to remain operational, as property, such as the overflow parking, was planned to be built on. In mid-2015, it was announced that the park would close on 1 May 2016 due to interest in the first stages of development as well as increases in electricity and water bills. The park sold discounted tickets to commemorate their last season. On 25 June 2016 the park hosted an auction selling much of its equipment. Thanks Au Cook Family for the cache.
all has been replaced and was a awesome find! miss this adventure park. great job
On a lovely cooler day, KTPops and I went south to collect some smileys, some of which were high on our list for her DT grid, and others were puzzles I had solved in recent months. Armed with a multitude of TOTTs (except mosquito spray) we had a blast of a day.
We did multiple circuits for this one and could not find the little fella.

Have been out to do some maintenance, the original container is rusted so have replaced with a small black nano. Happy Hunting
Me and my friend were looking for roughly 30 minutes and we could not find it. We looked around the sign and the nearby electrical box but we couldn't find nothing. Not sure if its still here because others said that the magnet fell off. Cheers
Count open. Wish Greenhills was still here. Nice camo

Down in the victor harbour region for a few days for a holiday so why not find a few caches along the way.
A quick stop here, put we got and wasn’t in the first place we looked and definitely wasn’t what I was thinking would be the hide here but got there in the end. Cache and contents are all good

Drove down this way with Purrfect Di & Jack.
Combined a relaxing spa getaway with a bit of caching fun
Found your cache along the way.
A quick find by Di as she bolted from the car.
A shame that we have to keep on building houses on all the open spaces... progress [8)]
Appreciation goes to Au Cook Family for placing and maintaining this one

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Stay safe when caching. Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on
2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through
Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]
Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!
Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting
[:o)]

Todays weather forecast windy with showers didnt seem too bad, so we headed out to tackle a few caches well that soon changed to really really windy, so only a few smilies added to our map today.

Been doing a lot of wall building at home and my muscles were aching. Time for a day off to do some caching and chill. So I called up Anymules and we met down at Victor Harbor to continue where we left off when our last day was cut short by an impending 5 day covid lockdown! I think I will rename Victor Harbor after today to Micro Harbor. I had brought several TBs to leave in caches down here but it took all day to find suitable sized ones. Just saying. [:o)]
Another quick find.. but it was a Spawn of Satan and so now for the rant...
No...you know how it goes.....poor kitten!
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks Au Cook Family for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled to Victor Harbor for the day to target a few Adventure Labs. We walked around Granite Island, and then did a loop of The Bluff (Rosetta Head) in the afternoon. Finally, we briefly stopped at Port Elliott beach for a swim, and then returned to Adelaide via Crows Nest Road.
It was a shame that Greenhills Adventure Park closed down, as I have vivid childhood memories of visiting there as a kid. It is interesting to see the evolution that has now transpired, into more housing estates. It took a few minutes to locate between [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I, and eventually met in the middle to find it. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Au Cook Family for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

"Come caching with me to Victor," invites JJ52.. "Thanks, what a great way for a newie to learn from one who knows!, says 17 MG17.... a huuuuuge day.... Lots of caching (well in my books that constituted lots of chaching!!) - I do not know how the seasoned do this on consecutive days... I thought my addiction was something I had to watch.... not even playing in the arena yet.... A day filled with all finds and only one we couldn't log (a tree that wasn't inviting a climb).

Today was a day out with 17MG17 and we were heading down to Victor as there was a new AL that I wanted to get along with some others that had been published since my last trip down there. [^] We had a fun day and ended up finding all the caches we looked for, but there was one we couldn't reach so will have to go back with a ladder or someone more agile than us. Saw lots of wildlife and even stopped to watch a sleepy lizard eating dandelions which I had never seen before. A long but very satisfying day.
Pretty cool structures at this new suburb that I had not been to before. Cache quickly found when looking from the right angle.
Thanks for the cache Au Cook Family.

Found gz rather quickly, but the traffic soon increased as soon as we had the cache.
We then discovered a slight technical problem with the cache.
We soon slotted it back in, but knew it wouldn't stay put.
Thanks for the cache, Au Cook Family.

Whooo Hooo FTF with clare007 and Gizmos at 2.52pm..We had been caching around Victor Harbour and then headed to Mount Compass. While there we got notice of 4 new caches back in V.H. ......................... so back we went!!! This was our first stop and a fairly quick find was made. On grabbing the cache we noticed it had no magnet ..... which was still stuck to the metal surface. We put it back together and forced the magnet into its slot. Really could do with a drop of araldite or superglue to secure the magnet. Thanks Au Cook Family for the hide!!
Found quickly, but magnet came off as i retrieved... have put back carefully.
Thanks
