Parked at the dead end street and with a clear hint it was quickly in hand.
while i am down in Invercargill waiting for husband and son to re appear from their 5 day tramp over at Stewart Island i managed to visit quite a few of the local caches as well as some a little way out of town. I had about 3 DNF but the success rate was very pleasing and i hope i have not got too many muddled.
thank you for the cache

It must have been too early for the young ones to be out as the streets were nearly deserted.
Thanks

#9026. I have a day to do some geocaching before my Southland meetings start tomorrow. So hired a rental car so I could pick up some of the two geotour caches. But also stopping to do a few others in the nearby vicinity. The title of this one suggested it should be easy. Well I parked and wandered around for a bit looking in various places. Then the GPS settled and it was easy peasy after all. Signed the log and replaced where found. Thanks for hiding it here mrandmrschosen1978.

Quick snag and tag for my first cache today. Managed to bang my head on a tree and its starting to rain. Bugger. Cheers

Tuesday 27 October. Checking out Invercargill again today. Lets go Toby!

Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Invergiggle just got a little smaller as another archived GZ got recycled for some new tin and another auspicious cache to fill someone's spelling challenge. Those [Canty](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC5HD92/14750 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") challenges will get qualified for at some time or another, just follow TT hee hee for those newly published caches spelt with quirky titles. I am in no hurry to cache CHCH, far too busy down here ha ha. This reserve is no stranger to caches, SIB's [small](https://coord.info/GC3JQM1) cache was hidden near the boxes but had been archived as missing several years ago. Atrocious Spring weather brought snow a little late this year and sat out the FTF scramble noice'n'warm with a big pot of soup. Photos kept from last August were on par with white-out graupel everywhere before persistent rain washed it away turning the grounds into a lake again. Pulled up to the GZ and followed the footprints along the footpath, zeroed down to the spot and scratched the hide for the micro. Good solid hide which should evade detection if left well covered. A last day of September cache for me and another smilie. TFTC

The call up for jury duty this morning had me up n about early. I arrived at the courts and after an hour seated and not being chosen, and with the few beverages prior was in dire need for the loo. There was a lineup so off I raced to my mates local eatery for much needed relief, a strong beverage and a yummy bacon brekky. They weren't open argghh... A quick dash to the close cache before heading home, geez the wind was icy!.. it was easy but thankfully not pee-sy! tftc mrandmrs...an E for september>just Smile

Woke up this morning with the sound of rain ,o well and looked at to clock and remembered it was time to move all the clocks for day light saving .
So after the how dose this one work and a bit of head scratching all where on time now let's see what the phone is complaning about , a new green box ok .
Best I get some coffee and shower then we can see if the washing is finshed.
So in to the motorised transport and and away we go.
Are we the only silly enough
With a very stealthful approach we edged in to gz and in a downpour we snaffle the goods .
Oooo a clean log so yay (FTF) 9.50am dlst with an anninelin
Now home to dry off and finsh my packing

Thanks for the hide mrandmrschosen

Was outside in the paddock(in the rain), feeding Felicity and Willie their breakfast, and then shifting the electric fence for the lambing mob.. squished my way back to indoors, and peeled off the wet jacket and wet dressing gown(yeah, i was outdoors in pyjamas)... continued stripping and ended up in a warm soapy shower...
That must be why i missed the cha ching, New cache alert!
Decided as it was an underpants day, and someone else must be sillier than me, that the fire needed started, coffee,& toast required consumed, washing machine needed started and dishwasher unloaded.
By that time, DSI, had awoke, and drunk his coffee, and then decided a shower was in order....
So once he was squeaky clean, let's go and see if anyone was sillier than us...
And to our surprise, we were the only silly ones today!
(FTF) 9.50am.

I was having a well Earned sleep in when this was published after a well Earned beer, after been working on the house and watching the Stags Easy Peazy win over North Harbour the night before.
Thought I had a great sleep, but daylight saving changes Earned me an extra hour.
Ventured out of bed eventually, I needed some motivation to do something... but needed supplies from Mega.
Earned another smile and dot, before going grocery shopping, and back home to do some gib stopping.
Had driven past here recently thinking this spot deserved a cache, but you bet me to it.
Thanks, also claiming another E cache to spell out September for a challenge up north.

We rose late this morning, the weather was poos and Tuitigger was sleeping off the boozy night before at the footy. While he watched the highlights on TV I had a shower and got ready (do we really need groceries and more gib stopping supplies?) On the way to the shops we thought we'd swing by and check out one of the new caches nearby, knowing full well there was bound to be others out between showers....yep... turned out we were 2TF but nice to know there was other mad buggers out there too. Although we stayed dry at the cache site, the heavens suddenly opened and we were almost concussed during the massive frenzied hail storm which smashed down on us about 10 steps after leaving the supermarket. The car is full of hail in the boot and in both front doors. As soon as we closed the car doors it stopped again, mother nature, you b****. TFTC
