Having come here specifically to complete the Earth Cache for a souvenir, I figure it would have been rather impolite to leave without going to find this companion cache... especially as it is so easy to find... just look. Thanks **gmj3191** for putting this cache here.
What a lovely peaceful spot. Sha.e there are no toilets here or it make a great summer day out paddling and picnicking. Thanks for placing
Well its the long weekend and I was wondering what to do so a trip up to Bendigo was called for. This weekend will help me continue along with my streak which I want to get to 183 as any more is just to hard to achieve.Im having to resort to detours on the way home from work but a weekend trip away will help me along and also any excuse to get out of Melbourne is a great idea. After a great day yesterday of caching and sight seeing and a good nights rest (after finding somewhere to stay as Bendigo appears to be booked out) its time for some more caching and to slowly make my way home.I have been here before for a swim but that was before there was a cache here.No swimming today unless you are from that group called the Ice Bergers as it was a bit fresh here.Enjoyed the walk along the trail listening to the water travelling down.Cache was soon located and signed. Thanks gmj3191 TFTC.
What an incredible place, thanks so much for highlighting it, will definitely be back!
Found this one with feathertop this morning. Gorgeous spot.We both admired your unusual hide...
A beautiful morning here with blue skies and tinkling water.Logging this one with Featherdown. Thank you
**07/05/2024, 10:33:00****Find #5821****Traditional Find #3457**I was about to leave this reserve as I'd come here just for the earth cache when I spied this traditional and its one of Geoff's caches too so I had to attempt to find it.I quickly zeroed in on GZ and when I arrived, I saw an object that looked decidedly out of place. What on earth is that? I prodded it with my finger and realised that it was the hide. [:o)] I didn't expect anything like that.I signed the log, took some more photos and headed back to my car. **Thank-you to gmj3191 for placing this geocache**
Caching our way to Canberra Mega, we just had to stop for this one. Great hide, but our main concern was stopping the geohounds from racing after rabbits! Tftc.
Clever hide - the set up delighted all of us. It was nice to find a shady spot to have a little rest too.
The long grass has been whipper-snipped in the Cascades area giving good access. About 20 people getting their feet wet today, but not near GZ. TFTC
Found it at 1600 hrs with Gloria & Alan even though phone GPS was 90 degrees outTFTC TNLNSL
I remember coming here to find a cache a few years ago it was my 15th find!. Here we are some 7 years later with a new one. Thanks for the cache. All looks to be in good condition with this one.
Took the train to Kyneton today to visit the grandkids. As an outing on the first day of the school holidays we drove out to the cascades. Enjoyed the walk and climb over rocks to find this cache. TFTC
Been meaning to come here for a while and we finally made it. What a great spot. Be a gem in summer for swimming. Not that it stopped the kids today! Nice camo. Thanks for the cache out here.
On our way home from a fab birthday weekend away at the winter blues festival in Echuca, when Dad put the call out for a cache in this particular LGA. A quick detour was made here and are so happy we did. What a beautiful place! Of course me thinking we were doing an earth cache, I didn't have a pen so photo sent to CO in hope that will suffice. Thank you so much gmj3191
We finally decided to tick these caches of on our way home from Bendigo, we have driven past plenty of times but usually with a caravan or boat in tow, today was finally the day to stop, just on sunset

Out for a drive, Great location lovely spot to just relax. thanks for the cache
I haven't been here for a few years. Last time it was really busy with only a wee trickle of water. Today, it's a cold, damp summer day. Geo-pup & I have the place to ourselves & much more water. I'd be happy to sit here all day. Many thanks. Love the location. Love the cache
Didn't bring a pen with us but what an unreal location! After all our heavy rain it was intense rapids but I imagine in summer that it would be a beautiful spot for a dip. Thanks very much for the cache!
Going through this area to determine what caches to find, realized I'd never logged this one! I remember the day clearly as the daughter,1st granddaughter and puppies visited these Cascades. I remember sneaking off to find the cache as the daughter wasn't into Geocaching at that stage...oh how times have changed lol! I've been here when the water was almost roaring...a lovely spot to visit and thank you for placing this cache here!
Find #2868 for me. Found at 10:20 with my dog Bonnie while passing through the area. I can remember finding a cache here several years ago, so it's nice to see a new one placed here to highlight this wonderful location. The cascades were quite magical this morning, and certainly didn't disappoint! We were the only ones around to enjoy them. Thanks for the cache gmj3191!
TFTC Great place for a Geo well away from the muggles even with lots of people around we were able to successfully complete the log

A beautiful area. Too bad it’s not warm enough for a swim. We will be back.

What a nice surprise. This is the reason I love this game. Brings us to hidden gems like this. TFTC gmj3191
Yay! Finally allowed out and to the country we head. What a glorious day for it too. The cascades are stunning, we had a fun time exploring with our geodog. Of course took the hard way in and easy way out haha. TFTC:-)
great spot lots of water going down the river. on our way home to Geelong. Have our caravan at Lake Eppack.
thanks.
thanks.
No internet and no gps for some reason made this one much more tricky than it needed to be but a lovely spot to wander none the less. Thank you
Creative little hide and a beautiful waterfall, we managed to get there when there were no other people and it was very serene!
Very unique cache and I liked the camo of the hiding spot very different thanks for a fun one , didn’t have a pen so didn’t sign the log sorry
Found this awesome cache at 4:05pm. Very well constructed. Lots of water flowing creating lots of foam in the water. TFTC and bringing us to this Beautiful location. A favourite point given.
A lovely spot I originally visited many years ago and had forgotten about. Easy find on a lovely sunny day with no people around TNLNSL TFTC
After enjoying a picnic and completing the nearby earthcache, I strolled over to this cache nearby. I spotted something suspicious and lucky for me it was the cache. Ripper construction, it is not going anywhere anytime soon! A favourite from me. Thanks gmj3191.
The cascades is a lovely spot. We came here a few months back to get this cache but there was so many people here that we put it down to do another day. Today was quiet and peaceful and almost muggle free. Love the container. Thanks
Found on a family day trip, taking advantage of the Easter Monday public holiday.
Our first trip here in a very long time. After enjoying a swim and relax for a couple of hours, we took the short stroll over to this one and made a quick find. TFTC

Thank you for bringing me back here, have always loved this spot, it was the scene of one of my first dates and then numerous family trips. Also liked the hide. Cheers
Hello gim3139, We found your cache on day #4 of our Lap year trip.
Selling up our hobby farm in South Gippsland and putting everything in storage we are now living on the road full time in our caravan and ‘doing a lap’.
Sorry for the generic log, time, data and reception are all factors in the decision to use a copy and paste log, we will always endeavour to leave a photo or two with each log and always leave a favourite point and unique comment(S) where applicable for the truly outstanding caches.
Earth, Virtual, letterbox handmade and Gadget caches are always at the top of the list for us to find.
Thank you for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to find today.
Cache in good condition.

A round trip of Castlemaine, Metcalfe, Redesdale and Heathcote - hunting a few Earthcaches today. What a lovely spot, I get the distinct feeling I've been here Geocaching before though. Cool to be back, there were plenty of people enjoying the water, we got the traditional cache, then checked out the earthcache. Thanks for the cache gmj3191.

After a great week away camping it’s time to return home. Taking a slight detour via Kyneton to grab a few needed caches.
A beautiful spot to detour to on the way home. Lovely area and was tempted to take a dip. A quick find at GZ. It would have been fun to carry the cache in from the car park.
Thanks gmj3191 for the cache.

Absolutely lovely time if day here, almost 8pm, sun has set, cockatoos are carrying on, the water over the cascades is sensational.

On the homeward trip from Bendigo, a slight detour gave us the opportunity to seek out a couple more smiley tokens to add to our collection.
Oh boy is that creeper getting very friendly . . . . . in fact, sticky, especially when you don't have your regular old caching clobber on.
Our thanks to 'gmj3191' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

We stopped in here for a picnic lunch on our way from Maryborough to Golden beach. We were surprised at just how many cars and people were here enjoying the lovely weather and the cold water. It wasn't that warm in our opinion!

Saw this pop up in my notifications and decided to head down and check out the Cascades. I thought after yesterdays storms and heavy rain in the area, the Cascades would have been pumping but alas they weren't, although they were higher than normal.
Arriving at the car park another car was there, luckily for me a couple of young women enjoying the Cascades. I headed off toward GZ and carefully negotiating the long grass I made a quick find.
Thanks gmj3191 for placing this cache.
