Went over here after attending the nearby event. Embarrassingly in the limited time I had I couldnt find this one either.
We are in Horsham for a long weekend away. Having never cached in this area, it is going to help us with a number of challenges. The hardest being GCA0HZW, where you need 20 geocaches in each Victorian LGA. We should get that in Horsham, probably not in the West Wimmera, Hindmarsh, and Yarriambiack LGAs that we will all be also visiting. After completing Parkrun at a decent time in this early morning heat, we strolled over to this one. Certainly a nice hide that might be hard for shorter people, luckily that is not me. We noted the 2 trackables in the cache after looking under all the loose pages of the log book. CO was informed at the event, and I think I saw him heading in that direction after the event. Thanks for the cache, Duntulum.Hunter
Thought this would be missing as on approach to GZ there ware many strips of log book all over the ground. Carried on looking anyway and soon spotted the well concealed cache. Log book has been torn into pieces but still plenty of pieces to sign. Placed the ones we found inside as well. Thanks so much for bringing us to this great area Duntulum
Found during an early morning stroll along the river bank and parklands while staying in Horsham for the next few days. Dropped off two TBs into the container. Thanks for the cache Duntulum!
Thanks. Found while out run geocaching. In Horsham for my Step sons wedding this weekend.
Staying at Riverside cp. Went for evening walk. Just beautiful seeing the gum trees silhouetted against the reflection of the river & lights. Mmm bit hard finding cache in the dark but the phone light & large rock were helpful but signing difficult. At least I made my mark!!!! Really appreciated caches close to cp. fav point added for clever hide Tftc
So many places it could be and lucky I spotted it in the first place I looked. Cache in great condition. Thanks for the hide and for bringing me to this spot.
Staying at the showgrounds in our motorhome & came for a stroll along the river. TFTC
This one took longer than it should have - the other half spotted the cache and had it signed quickly. Then had time to read the information board. Thanks Duntulum.
Finally found it embarrassingly took so long .. also found another one that I dont think is meant to be here
The second of a 4 day adventure with Robmc. Today we travelled from Mortlake to Apsley via the southern grampians and then east towards Horsham, picking up select cahes along the way.Having set up camp at Horsham, and it being a little too early to go to the pub yet, we did a short walk and grabbed some additional caches.Found very easily, but it was a bit of a stretch for Rob to grab (and he's taller than me). Wondering it it was supposed to be higher up?
Day two with Day on our LGA collection trip around Western Victoria.Today we started at Mortlake, traveled across West Wimmera, and finished in Horsham..The weather was somewhat changeable, but we stayed mostly dry.An interesting area here, and a very nice hide. Thanks, Robmc.
Spending a few hours in Horsham after a callout with work. Decided to walk along the river trail and see what caches i could find (Pretty bad luck really). This one wasn't an issue however, after some creative searching the cache was found. Logbook signed, a trackable put in the tin, and all returned back to its original location. Thanks heaps for the caches along the trail!
Came to look in the morning but ANZAC Day... thanks for their service!! Clever hide with a reach. TNLS
Heading towards Horsham today not sure where I am staying. Last time in this area would have been 30 years ago and by bus
I was walking along going this looks for a great place for a cache but unfortunately my phone was flat. So I wandered over anyway, and the went hmmm this metal sheeting would be great for a magnetic micro so looked and went oh shit, there is it fantastic cache, and Horsham is a nice place
Couldnt find it anywhere. Did find this (look at photo) and wondered if its meant to be there.
No luck. Did find a suspicious looking white pipe fitting but cache - perhaps that was not it at all?
Spent ages seeking this. Even looked at past logs which narrowed search area. Such a big (small) cache, so cleverly hidden. Well done for the hide. Great war memorial and waterways information.
Found 23/3/24 @ 12:12PMBy this point, the nephew was super excited about everything geocaching and loved the larger container here. Thanks Duntulum for the cache.
Find 4626 on February 28, 2024Day#2 on Fergzters roadtrip to the Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide. Today's stretch was from Taylor's lake near Horsham towards Adelaide. Wowsers found this one on the ground in plain view so rehid back up a little. Great display of the local area. All is well with the cache. TFTC Duntulum
I found it as my 2nd geocache and BOTH my tyres went flat after the back 1 went flat yesterday must be a sighn
Geokid 8 - i really liked it! Geokid 4 - upset because big brother found it! Cool hide! TFTC!
Entertaining kids before school went back. Found on the 29th?? long day and forgot to log here. Did write in log book. Kids enjoyed finding this one. Thanks for something unique. Noticed there were not really anything to swap. . . . . Except some clothes pegs. Miss 3 and miss 5 were not really excited about them we added our swababls in the hopes next person is not as upset as two over tired, over excited and over heated from sun exposer were that day.
A clever hide but found it easy enough before people arrived for parkrunSigned and returned it where it wasTFTC
On the way home to Warrandyte from Hahndorf. Did Parkrun then found this. Great memorial . Thanks for the cache.

Found while on a day out and about. Thanks for the cache Duntulum. A good place to put a cache.
After an morning travelling along the river on my scooter with a lovely breeze out today keeping the temperature to very pleasant this was a great sized container to find. Loved all the art work and looked in many places between corrugations before I spied the prize. Great location and loved the trail by the river.
Out showing M_a_s the ropes. Great hide. Nice to see a good sized container. Let some swag items. TFTC
