Headed out today to get the final points for the Cosmic Quest challenge souvenir. Had a plan but that got tossed out the window with the wet weather, so it was on to plan B which was a bit drier.Andy walked through and made a quick find here while I did the car shuffle. tftc#9864
Beautiful spot to be out caching, although it did get a bit windy at times. TFTC!!
Agazo and I drove over the hill for a Raid from the West today.Out for a walk to stretch our legs. Our turn around point. Another quick find.TFTC
Marchwood and I came over to Blenheim for the day. We continued walking along the path away from the river to get this cache. Afterwards, we turned around and went towards the river to get back to the car. TFTC.
After finishing work for the day took advantage of the last of the light to complete a walk here and find a few caches.
We walked in from Ben Morven Rd, the hilly route to this cache, which was a quick easy find once we reached it. The cache was quite wet, but the waterproof log was fine. TFTC
Got out for a couple of hours after work for some exercises followed by a few Park and Grabs. Enjoyed the walk here and amazed by the extent of the vineyards. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
Rode up the track from the Taylor River for a quick find. That hill in front looks steep! Just as well i'm on my ebike.
A nice quick find, this time. If there was a magnet on the container it is now gone. Try base for a hint. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I cruised around today, picking up the odd cache on our journey. The weather was good most of the day, and so far the ferry journey is going well.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

We were in Blenheim today just for the day as GK had a new work toy to pick up. We planned to do a bit of shopping and a bit of geocaching before heading for home.
We had done all the shopping we could cope with so headed a bit further out of town.
We thought we would go and find a few more caches in the area before the weather that had been threatening to rain closed in. The wind was starting to howl by the time we got here and there was the odd light spot of drizzle in the air.
I am not sure why I had never noticed this wee series of caches along this track before. However after spotting them today we decided to go for a walk to find them. Great views from the parking area, we sat and had a cuppa while enjoying the views. The rain in the surrounding hills was obvious, it must have been very wet at my dads place down the sounds today.
GK made an instant find, he signed the log and returned it as he found it.
Thanks for the cache and thank you for the smiley.

I had left this cache for another day when finding the others along the river recently, and today I decided to go for a short walk and find it. Parked up just off Ben Morven and strolled on in. The vineyards looking neat and tidy now they are all pruned and tied down. A quick find here and it was very quiet. TFTC Arandee.
Today was a mixture of cache maintenance and finding caches, also taking advantage of the good weather forecast.
We've walked this track a few times in the past to look for caches and this one was just as enjoyable as the previous ones.
Thank you Arandee.

We had plenty of time in lockdown to plan ahead and all it took now was a nice day. It was to hot and the end of a long caching day when we decided against the approach from the Taylor River. Today we came in from Ben Morven Rd on a cool spring day and enjoyed the walk along a cycle track where we found many caches over the years. Thank you Arandee
Quick find in this cool, sunny, splendid Marlborough morning. Clever hide, Arandee. Spectacular rural area. TFTC
Bit bored - so while hubby is building his big concrete block fence I headed out for a bike ride.
There was a couple of muggles up ahead as I was nearing GZ so had to wait a few minutes to make the find. All is good though - a QEF

The hint suggests a likely set of places, but they were all empty. Not anywhere else we checked either. On the other hand the farmer now knows why people keep stopping here!
It was looking grim here although the cache was found on one of the first places checked. The IS were confident of the type of hide here until the possible spots (including the most unlikely) were all checked. The hint was considered and we looked for other possibilities. None. So maybe we were right but needed to check more up. Then the cache was found not quite in the condition we thought it had been left. The log was signed and the minor fix made before the cache was replaced. We had opted out of the 1.2km walk for the .5km walk after a drive and were now happy we had recleared this track.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We approached the junction from the shorter end. Searched the obvious spots and then not so obvious and ones that had no relation to the hint either. Stopped for a bit of a conflab and consideration of the options and search again. This search did produce the cache after quite a bit of tongue twisting and finger manipulation. Fixed what was supposed to make it easier before replacing. From memory we signed directly after Paolo.b72 TFTC # 16,573
After completing my last two ascents of Mt Vernon for the Everest Challenge, I treated myself at a local bakery and looked up something nearby to find. Here, the hint should have made it easy but it took a search of a few similar locations until I got it on the line.
Found container we think and used all these and still could not get it out. With Crickethawea
Found the cache with judithrichards but both tried hard to remove it to sign but could not get it to come out. Judithr has attached a photo to a message for help
Found easily, but took a while to winkle out the log! Nice morning up here - TFTC!
{FTF} with NZDi @ 2.45pm. I was at the computer working on my Adventure Lab cache when the notification for this arrived. I asked NZDi if she wanted to head out on a FTF chase and she reminded me about another appointment she had later on in the afternoon. So I suggested a two-prong attack, where I would approach on foot from the Taylor River end of the track and she would take the car and approach from the Ben Morven Road end. That way she would have the car and would be at the right end of the track to head off for her other activity.
It was interesting to note that she only beat me to GZ by about 75 metres, but she didn't have the cache loaded so by the time she had that sorted I was there and had the cache in hand having found it in the first place I looked. The clue was in the hint which I recognised from my fourth ever FTF by the same CO except it was opposite, 275 FTFs later my memory served me well. +1 FP for the FTF, only 20 to go for a P-GC badge upgrade.
TFTC Arandee
Having snaffled up a few of this COs' latest placings, I guess I should place some of my own to even out the caching karma.
