Logs
Found an empty pill bottle under a rock that looked so deliberate, but I'm logging this as DNF because there was nothing identifying it as the cache, no log book.
Found a log-less container hidden in the correct spot, messaged CO and they confirmed that its the correct container
What a lovely day for a walk no muggles here today but could hear people talking on a loud speaker.Had a little obstacle over chopped wood a little bush bashing and then a quick find at ground zero. Thanks for placing a cache here never been here before. Cache is all good. Signed log and placed back where found.
TFTC- bit of a mission with two little ones though and no clear instructions on how to access this space safely.
Great little find. Little scrambling past firewood but potentially helps to keep the cache safe.
After a little scramble as some of the downed trees had been moved, gz was accessible today
For reasons other than geocaching, I found myself visiting the Windermere Berry Farm just outside Wanganui today. But of course there is always time to find a cache or two after real life stuff, so I decided to make a bit of a day of it and look for a few such as this one.The afternoon weather was getting really hot by now, so a little shade on the walk to GZ was welcome. Reading a few previous logs, I wasn't sure what I would find at GZ. I can certainly confirm that several trees have been cut down, but equally I can confirm that the host tree for this cache is not one currently felled.Once at GZ it was a quick find here. No issues to report with the cache, and the log soon had my name in it before replacing as found. It wasn't until later in the day that I realised that I'd signed every log with the date as Feb 7th! My mistake. Thanks for setting this one up.
Went for the walk There has been so many tree works done was not sure which tree and if it was still there
Unsure if cache is still accessible big trees have been cut down alo g the path very near to the cache location
The cache appeared close to a road on the map and I drove to the suggested parking and headed out. I thought the satnav needed time to settle, but no, GZ really was 500 m from the parking — turns out it’s a corridor behind houses. I lit up a few cats’ eyes on the walk with my headlamp. The neighbouring hint object has come down, but after ducking under that it was a quick find. The cache was exposed, I left a concrete shard on top. Thanks Arcane_NZ
After a couple of DNF’s on our list today we decided to visit here to make up a smiley. TFTC
After reading some past logs I felt the best option was ‘safer in numbers’ so off we went in search of the cache. Took a few wrong turns but got there in the end. Lots of rubbish and barking dogs along the way but all good at GZ. TFTC
I too went from the end of Elm Street.
Sad to see the amount of litter on the way to the Cache. 335m
Cache nicely hidden and dry.

I parked on Elm Street and made my way through a crack in the corrugated iron. Not the right way to approach this cache, but it worked. Lots of potato plants on the track between there and GZ. Once I got to GZ I saw a likely candidate and then say the hide. Has to be one of my fastest finds ever! Didn't see much of hte wetlands on my route to and from the cache
i had put this off for some time as a friend and geo cacher warned me not to go there by myself. and after seeing it I do agree Luckily i had my hubby with me and i persuaded him to accompany me on this track . It is the worst walking track i have ever seen . Total lack of respect and mana for the environment ! the neighbours seem to just throw their rubbish over the fence . There was all kinds of rubbish.. food, clothing, rotten ..yuck. just yuck ! where is their respect .
Luckily we walked along the track- what could be a nice shady track- quickly and soon had the cache in hand thanks to a clear hint. . Not be be recommended.

In Whanganui this morning to grab a few caches, nice little walk to GZ. Thanks Arcane_NZ for the cache.
#12,567. A good little walk further on in the Balgownie Wetlands in Whanganui. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

We were not aware this little area existed, so was pleasantly surprised when we came here for the two caches. It's a lovely little walk to GZ, although the barbed wire along the fences of the neighboring houses suggested it could get a little dodgy here at times!
No problems finding this cache.
Thanks for putting this here and showing us a new part of Whanganui

It didn't take too long to wander through the trees behind the houses. The hint made it very clear where the cache was placed. Thanks Arcane_NZ.
A quick wander out to check this cache as well. As expected everything was all okay out here.
Even ran into three cheeky little fan tails which was a neat bonus.

A pleasant spot for a late afternoon walk. Took me a while to find as it was sport of buried. The hint object is starting to show its age a bit, fell over on me while I was looking. I put things back together as best I could. TFTC
This was a good walk in the bush. Putty about the rubbish at the back of peoples sections.
Very easy find. TFTC

I'm out and about after dinner with geo-dog to grab this one. I get an uneasy feeling about this place so I was grateful for a super quick find and happily made a bee line back to the car.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
A quick easy find at the end of a pleasant cool walk through the trees. A pity the occupants of the neighbouring houses seem to dispose of all their rubbish over their back fences. TFTC
Very nice find with woolwood9 on a little trip away!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (May be black smudge on wet or plastic logs)
*We really enjoyed the tour around from cache to cache!*
Good walk not too long or difficult after dark. Soon had the container located.

(# 6429). This weekend I traveled up to Wanganui primarily to attend the famous Rattl Christmas event on te Sunday. So what could be better than going up one day early in order to grab a few caches. The weather treated me well and it was a successful trip. A quick find. Everything in order. Thanks for bringing me here.
I can't help but agree with the cache owner's description of this location as a hidden gem. The Wandering Dragons and I enjoyed our short walk. On approaching the cache site, we spotted the tell tale sight of a hidden cache and weren't at all surprised to quickly find the treasure.
Cache # 4,935 - quick find with brucewwnz today. All good here. Thanks for bringing us to this hidden gem! TNLNSL. TFTC!
Probably not an after dark place to come. Cache was an easy find.
It's that time of year again when we try and get out there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and my birthday the next day. This time we matched it up with a trip to Whanganui to see our daughter and the ever changing/developing granddaughter Kaiah. After the weekend with them we headed to Hawkes Bay for a 4 day stay in Havelock North which started off with rain but fined up nicely and finished the week well. A good break from home and plenty done and seen (as usual). Not huge numbers of finds but 22 adventure labs, the 4 TMGTs in Napier, a couple more CANZ caches and a few Virtuals as well as some other treats, T F T C to all COs.

Visiting Whanganui for a week. Nice to have some new caches to look for. This is definitely a place that I would not have discovered unless caching. Enjoyed the circular walk through the tunnel of tree and then out along the open field. Only disappointment was the rubbish which would make it a great place for a CITO. Very quiet except for a herd of inquisitive muggles. Thanks for the smiley.
THIRD time Lucky! First time I had my co-ords wrong; second time I had the hints back-to-front?
Tried again today. And there it was.
Even made it all the way to the Cache on my Bicycle - BUT would not recommend that means of transport it unless you are brave!

A bike trip around Whanganui with JonoS logging new caches. Its great to have Arcane and his boys and his wife putting down new caches and finding spots that a new to us. Lovely that the boys are so enthusiastic. have been meaning to expolore this path before. It is a flat path and able to be ridden watcing out for sticks glass and stones. A pity that it doesnt have an exit. This was a quick find in a beautiful placeto walk. TFTC
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IT IS VERY ISOLATED AND TAKE SOMEONE WITH YOU AND GO IN DAYLIGHT HOURS.
A favourite for such a lovely wetlands walk.

Once again I am in Wanganui for the weekend (from Wellington) working on filling the area with smiles. I saw some new caches appear a few days ago, so they were first on my list to get. All good here, as expected. TFTC.
Saw some new caches which appeared to have not been found despite being online for a while.
After tea snd still no logs so off I go. Didn’t know this area existed. Parked up and made my way to GZ where cache was quickly found, and what do you know a clean log sheet making this 1 of 4 {FTF} found tonight.
SL and left as found. Thanks for the placement Arcane_NZ.
