Following on from a successful find along the nearby Hallam Valley Trail, this location was next on our list.
Of course we stopped to say hello to the very friendly horses before heading in towards ground zero.
The terrain became increasingly swampy although it was dry underfoot.
Interesting vegetation gave way to an insurmountable obstacle so a protracted detour was mapped out.
Eventually arriving at the final coordinates (give or take 5 metres) the cache was quickly located below the high water line of the adjacent Eumemmerring Creek.
Now the water level is quite low today, in the creek and inside the cache.
The contents are still a soggy mess so rather than try to sign the dripping note pad, we simply left a stone paper log sheet in a new zip lock bag.
Replaced where we found it, but you really do need to get out here and sort this one out CosyAstronaut.

**You do need to respond within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this cache. Please don't let a lack of communication kill this placement.**
#What you should do now:-#
- Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so.
- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a 'Write Note' log indicating an expected date when you you hope you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
**The Write Note log should be placed within 14 days.**
#Please Note#
When a Reviewer next looks in on this cache, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, the Reviewer will assume the cache has been abandoned and process accordingly.

Found at 4:06 pm.
After finding a nice group of newish caches in Cranbourne North I was heading back home and still had some time so dropped by a couple of other caches on the way home.
Parked on the south side and deployed the scooter to cruise along the trails to this one. Once I arrived at GZ I realised it was in the flood plain so I was not surprised to find the container half full of water. I tipped that out and the pencil just managed to half scrawl my name on the log.
Thanks CosyAstronaut for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

A friendly horse wanted pats on our way through, and then it was a trek through the long grass and reeds, very wet and boggy...and so was the cache... recommend maintenance. Also wouldn't recommend this one in a hotter season when snakes could be out, long grass.
Found with Elwoods. Easy enough to find if you want to brave the soggu ground on a rainy day. Couldn’t log as the box (along with the log book) was saturated. Thanks for the cache.
Found today with Leesa79. Easy find, wet long grass, recommended coming when it is drier weather. Log wet so couldn't write in logbook. Will sign at later point TFTC
Manfred and I were on a walk, when we decided to find this one. Thankfully knight_shift was there and stayed with him out on the path. I was very worried about him being bitten by a snake! Thanks for placing the cache CosyAstronaut.
Easy to find but very wet to get 2. Come on nice day when it not wet days, come when on dry days.
Log book is very wet it needs a new one and put it inside zip lock bag or something like that.
Beautiful Sunday weather I want to get one for international souvenir luck it’s only Birdseye 4.km away from my home. Enjoyed to ride the e scooter to get there I had a great time finding your cache CosyAstronaut, thank you so much for placing it.
Finally found it! My dad was too scared of the ‘beware of snakes’ sign, but he finally gave in and we went. Clever hiding spot, although the notepad was wet. My advice to someone going there is to bring some pen and pencil to replace the broken ones, and maybe if you have time clean the water out and dry the notepad. Also, the video on the QR code is very motivating, recommend watching it.
I found this cache today as we were very close to the area. A very damp log inside. Thanks from D B-A
Log was too wet to write in. Who build the tree tent? Looks nice enough to live in!
This one was a little tricky. A good trek through the long grass. Beautiful farm view once you find it!

With a bit of time to fill in before the next event, I headed to this one after noticing it on the map.
After a short walk around the lake I headed of track to GZ and was able to make a quick find.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word in the English language. It is a medical condition, called Pneumoconiosis that is specifically caused by inhalation of very fine silicate or quartz dust. The challenge today was to find a cache with the first letter of each cache title to match each letter in this word. Why would I do this? Well, because there is a challenge of course (see GC5EWGV, Scrabble Challenge-Beckworth Beckons).
So, a LOT of planning went into this day. You see, there are 45 letters in this word alone, which meant identifying 45 different caches that I would have to find, one each starting with each of these letters, aacccccceiiiiiilllmmnnnnooooooooopprrsssstuuv. That’s 14 different letters and just for good measure, I identified a bonus cache for each letter, for when the inevitable DNFs were to happen. Which means there were now 59 caches on my list for the day, spread out from Maryknoll, to Berwick, Cranbourne, Lysterfield, Lilydale, Woori Yallock and then into the Dandenongs. I expected it to take me most of the day but in the end, because of 9 DNFs and a number of times where I had to hastily look for other options, I only finished it with minutes to spare before midnight.
The letter N proved probably the most difficult to identify. I would have to travel a considerable distance to achieve the 4 N’s required, but thankfully, no DNFs meant I didn’t have to attempt my fallback N cache, a Team Thommo Earthcache from the series Not Just Granite.
Not sure what the hint was about, but I found this cache after an enjoyable walk in. TFTC.

A few caches today and this was the first. The container was OK but the log was very wet.
THanks GreenPickleJar and SweetJuicyWorm for this cache.

Some spare time between errands so a cache find was in order.
A few cobwebs but no snakes today. Cache full of water so I emptied it out. Log wet but could sign.
Thanks to GreenPickleJar and SweetJuicyWorm for the placement and fun.

The long grass made me a bit apprehensive after seeing a warning sign for snakes.
I managed to find the cache without encountering any.

My first morning geocaching in I don't know how many months. Parked on a side street and walked under the freeway to get to GZ. Coords were good and cache was quickly spotted. In good condition. Ahh, Rick Astley. The man had some sweet moves...God knows what the guy walking along the path thought when I suddenly emerged in front of him from the long grass with that song playing on my phone..
Geoboy and I came here and yes it is very well hidden. But we didn’t give up and we found it. And this is our second second to find for today.
I saw this geocache get released at work, and planned how I would attack this one if no-one had found it by the time I had finished work. However I couldn't wait that long and decided to leave early. Walking to the car, I sent a message out to a local asking if they wanted a joint FTF, but also to see if they had already went and collected it
I got to the within 100 meters of the cache early and took some photos of the friendly ducks who came over to me, and seemed to really wish the lake had water. After waiting 10 minutes, I started the search but had no luck. Then after popping out of the bushes, I saw half of Knight Shift waiting. Then we started the search again, and after a couple of blackberry scratches, I found the well hidden container hidden in a place I had already looked 4 times.
Thanks for the cache Green Pickle Jar and Sweet Juicy Worm

Checking my emails late in the afternoon, I noticed a new cache had been published, but figured those FTF hounds would be well and truly on their way. Received a message from 999Hunter asking if I wanted to meet up at GZ, but with Steve still at work, I declined his kind offer. That lasted for about 5 minutes, messaged him back that I was in, then not bothering to check the map as I figured I knew this area well, arrived at the car park to discover I was nowhere near GZ.
I sort of have a reputation of getting lost which is why Steve is the navigator in our family. I think I have Hunter convinced now too:)
Finally caught up with him, and while Hunter searched one area, I wandered off in the opposite direction until I heard him shout out that he had found it.
Will chalk this joint [FTF] to 999Hunter’s generosity once again. Thanks for the entertainment GreenPickleJar and SweetJuicyWorm
