Back in Devonport for a few weeks, looking after grandchildren. A great opportunity to go on adventure each day.Having a few days break in Port Sorrell, so picking up a few in the area. A nice walk around the area and found after a short search at GZ.Thanks for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache
Another in our list of caches today. Lots of shells and seaweed at the beach nearby.
On a hike to the point with Muggle friends, this cache was checked today and found to be in good order.
Hello Angus88 thank you for the cache anywayNo luck here it a new fence.Did not found on Saturday, 23 September 2023 at 1249**TFTC**
TFTC.Found it - with AlbyDangles on another northern excursion. We are now on our walk back from lieu-pine-ner (The Long Point) / Point Sorell. This is one of the caches we were unable to find as we passed by earlier today.Based on previous DNF and the upgraded fence, we consulted the CO who was happy for us to replace the cache, and luckily we got that advice just before we arrived back here. Also lucky that AlbyDangles had a suitable spare. Thanks Angus88, for this caching experience.Cheers, EPs. 3655 - Saturday 23rd September 2023@1413hrs

CO maintenance run of the six caches placed between cache BUNCLE and cache LIEU-PINE-NER. GAP FILLER 01 was checked and found to be in good order.
Bit of bush bashing to find where to go but soon enough we found it!
Unfortunately the bison tube is missing it’s top and I found it on the ground needs maintenance

Went past the 'track stops here' sign and had some interesting bushwacking experiences for this series. Ran out of time for the last two. Cache in good order. Thanks.
Out and about caching with all the Rafas for our holidays TFTC TNLN log dry, an easy find at GZ. Great views and just in time to get back for sunset.
Thanks for the cache Angus88.
Today was the afternoon to see if we could get to the end of the caches out along this bit of coast. After successfully exhausting the two GeoGSP's int he morning, they stayed behind, and it was time to set off.....just after 4pm.
It was always going to be tricky to get back before dark at 7.30pm'ish, but you gotta give these things a go.
These last six caches were exhausting - either boulderhopping (the low road - see log from The Hancock clan) or trying to find a track through thick tea-tree or long clumps of grass where you couldn't quite see the ground - and it was a sunny day, so I was very snake wary! Luckily none were spotted - doesn't mean they weren't there!
Thankfully it was a beautiful autumn afternoon - sunny, not windy, and the views are beautiful.
A straightforward find.

There are 7 caches out here from the end of the track to Point Sorell which we needed to log. Today was the day ! Sunny but rather windy (B.O.M. rating .... gale force), so we decided to make a bee-line to Lieu-Pine-Ner to do the logs with our backs to the wind. Nice accurate co-ords, and a neat little double cache container. Well done and thanks for this little string of caches Angus 88.
Found the cache ok, but no spiders today. Seems to be surviving ok without the lid.
Found it This bison doesn't have a cap,I had a look around but could not locate.
Ok
Confession time.
I went to this cache, found it quite ok. As I was extracting the log a spider crawled out of the hiding object and everything went up in the air. Spider, Log Book, Container, Hiding object and lid.
Everything was found again, except the lid and the spider.
Sorry the container now does not have a lid as it in the nearby scrubby about 5 metres in. Not a place I would like to go to look for it. Given a brush cutter, a magnet and about 2 weeks I am sure I could find it.... Maybe not

Straight forward find, if you walk this far you don't want to struggling to find the cache. TFTC
Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a windy autumn day and found your cache along the way as we headed out to the point to complete these caches. The tide was in and made it a longer trip as we had to follow the shore all the way making our way through the prickly long grass. The views were great, a pleasant walk to the end.
Cache and contents were in good condition, some were harder to find than others.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers around Port Sorell, Squeaking Point, Shearwater and Hawley area and this was one that was targetted. A nice day for a wander even though it was very windy. TFTC
After doing the Tea Tree cache we tried to follow the fence line to this one, but that began to get a bit too difficult so we made our way back out to the rocks and then bush bashed our way to GZ again when we were closer.
Found this one laying on the ground in the open so put it under the dropper closest to GZ.
Thanks.

Thanks.
I have walked this trail previously and after seeing this new series I knew I would return, I parked up and made a jog out to the first cache, some of these required a bit of a bush bash and searching others were easy. I can’t see these lasting too long unfortunately due to the nature of the cache hides but otherwise a nice walk out here
Today I headed up to Hawley beach and Devonport to find a few caches that had even toy been published in the area, a nice few walks and a STF by 30seconds.
Thanks for the cache

This is the second time we've done the rock hopping, fence hugging, tree bashing agony of a walk !
Actually it's a really good work out
I noticed this one when we arrived for "Driftwood" etc

When I saw these two new Gap Filler Caches published I thought Oh No! looks like I'll have to do that rock hop, ti tree dodge and fence line walk again. This morning I bit the bullet and made the walk and was rewarded with a F.T.F. at around 09:15. Thank you for the cache Angus88.
The weather was superb this afternoon and with Daylight Saving having started, it was an ideal opportunity to head out to look for the six new caches on the western side of the mouth of the Rubicon River. We were pleased that we had procrastinated a little after four had been published because there were now six to search for - walking our here twice within a short period of time would not have been a preferred option. We remembered, from a cache hunt many years ago, that it wasn't an easy walk. Mrs y'stassie coped quite well with the rock clambering but the other half of the team struggled.
While Mr Y'stassie waited on the rocks Mrs Y'stassie pushed and wove her way through the Tea-Tree to GZ. She poked around a bit before deciding on a different approach which resulted in a successful location of the cache container. Container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache in the series Angus88. Mrs Y'stassie will be shaking debris out of her hair and clothes all the way back to the parking spot.
