Another Job For Bob is to make a new cache container. It's Fine Elsewhere.
Found a pretty obvious spot where it "should've been" but unlike previous finders, did not spot it out in the open.
Out for a bit of a stroll in an attempt to find a couple of BSE geocaches. Thanks so much to the owner for providing me with enough information to get this puzzle solved.Similar to the last finder, I found the container about eight meters away from the likeliest hiding spot. Signed the login put it back where it shouldve been.TFTC.
It was a nice puzzle that Mr Tardis solved a while ago. A short walk today over to GZ, and I found the cache out in the open.
I signed the log and replaced the cache in the obvious location. Thanks for the cache Bob From Elsewhere.

Found during a caching circuit around the suburbs after attending the '7am Caching Catch up - #024 - VBA' event. Thanks for the puzzle and cache Bob from Elsewhere!
Out for a half days caching with Mattycat, today was to clear a few mysteries and multis for the time we had, this was one of them, very little muggle activity at GZ, all we had to do was watch for wriggley stisks, cache was found after a short search

Hopped in a car with Mr Froghoppin and headed down to parts of Adelaide to play covid-dodgem!
Stopped as we went along the way and found a cache or two. Yours was one of them!!!
The local teenagers probably thought we were a bit off the grid when we passed them on the way here to poke around looking for a cache! (Seriously thought it was going to be in a solar battery... )
Luckily it wasn't where we calculated [:o)] although that may have been pretty there too
We thank Bob From Elsewhere for placing this cache on the SA map

Searching every day locating and logging using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Quite a bit of that!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Ensure that Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
We do really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
in sensible safe places especially!
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

After attending the Early Birds Event this morning, I headed off for a few hours caching in the northern suburbs.
My main targets were some previously solved puzzle caches and some multis. I also managed to complete the Adventure Lab cache at Thorndon Park Reservoir.
Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for the puzzle and the cache.

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
Another Wednesday wander with just S.A. sewer Rats today. Today was about finding some DNF's and whatever else we could find in between them. Solved recently at a puzzle solving night it was time to call by and collect the cache. lot of earthworks happening nearby will probably result in a few more places for BFE to hid some more caches. Cache located quickly and dropped in a TB.
***Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

I didn't have the benefit of getting the 'How-to-solve' at the puzzle event, so had a nudge even though I had seen some of the puzzle elsewhere, on a Canberrian's now archived cache...

I am currently on my L-plates and wanted to get some hours up. Today was a perfect day for a big 6h drive mainly on the North Eastern side of the city. Lots of opportunities for parking practise, reversing, u-turns and finding a few of those mystery caches that my dad had solved throughout the year but never collected. Total tally was 18 caches visited and 18 caches found. Most caches were stamped with my dad’s stamp but when there was a pencil available he also added my name.

Cache #17 and nearly homeward bound which called for a quick selfie. We could have used the nearby selfie stick but Skye’s arms were long enough to take the photo.
The puzzle was actually one of my favourite Bob puzzles so an FP has been awarded as well.

OMG, it is amazing how you lose touch with something when you do not practice, and BFE puzzles are no exception. When it was published, I started down a few pathways and had a lot of information but just could not make the final connecion. Ran into BFE a few weeks ago and we got chatting, and after some sad headshaking, a hint was given and after a bit more of a slog a solution appeared which geochecker agreed with. Then into the TBF queue till circumstances allowed a find given lockdown and WFH.
Today I was working in the area and I remembered that this one was close by so stopped and parked as directed. Wandered oveer to GZ and located the cache in the first place I looked which was really the only place to look and a very typical BFE hide.

It was a maintenance day, but that didn't mean Owl couldn't go and find caches that were more-or-less on the way. Despite being off the grid, the solution gained at a Puzzled Puzzler night was burning a hole in Owl's GPS and it wasn't too far off track. Now it is a smilie!
This puzzle initially had em going down one route, but that can't be for a 6x6 grid. So a hint was provided that needed to use something from the puzzle first. From there, it turned out to be quite logical and clever. And then it got rehashed and taught at the puzzlers event, hmm. For the most part, I did enjoy this puzzle, and also learned something new.
This evening, gridge98 and I targeted the Burton Wetlands for a multi-cache there. Following that adventure, we headed north to Waterloo Corner and Direk to complete a number of the *Adders Addle* series, before returning back south towards Salisbury. A nice sunny afternoon and balmy evening to be out and about.
This was my first geocache of the day, and was on my way north to Mawson Lakes. It felt like a quick stop as I was running ahead of time, and so made the short walk to GZ to make the quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. A great hide, and I'm generally not a fan of these container types, however the CO's technique for use of those is fantastic. Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Another Sunday caching expedition was organised with the JAMS team (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) tackling some solved puzzles, caches where we need TOTTs, some multis and a few trads thrown in. [^] Although the temperature wasn't too bad when we started at Port Adelaide by the time we got to Golden Grove it was rather hot and a couple of walks that were planned got postponed for another time. We had a fun (long) day and found quite a variety of caches and didn't stray too much from our planned route.
At the recent puzzle solving event this puzzle was talked about and when I got home I proceeded to work my way through the "multi step, multi stage" puzzle and eventually got the green tick so I was keen to add this one to our list for today. A quick find once we got to GZ. [^]
Thanks for the puzzle and cache BFE.

Found on a JAMS(JJ52, allister w, mogni and Sir Spectre) journey Port Adelaide to Golden Grove. We found some caches that had challenges to get to them and some that needed TOTTs. A good days caching even in 36 degree heat. TFTC
Another Sunday with the JAMS crew. We are still targetting BFE caches but we seem to get distracted from this mission and find so many others. A great day out working as a team to find and solve these challenging caches.

Thanks BFE for showing us the start of how to solve the puzzle at Freddos puzzle solving event. Solved by JJ52. quick find.
The JAMS team ( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni and sir_spectre )was out and about again. This time we started in Port Adelaide and slowly made our way to Golden Grove. With a 34 degree day we reduced on some of the planned hiking due to the heat. Thanking the co's that replaced the missing caches on any of our days out, letting us find them on this run. This is also the last planned run for the year.

After a quick phone call from your friendly neighborhood BFE I had a clue for this one. Yes it was a random friendly call. AstroWes also said gidday to Bob. They talk a different language to me.
Talk about get your socks off. I did just that when I sad down to figure this out at the kitchen table. Many words were used!! Thanks to the few friendly pointers this one revealed itself. So an afternoon drive with AstroWes was the order of the day.
Thanks to Bob From Elsewhere and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Found It!
Well that was obscure. After several hints at the puzzle event, and a few from Bob as well, I managed to work through this. How did you dream that up? Definitely a multi-step puzzle. Then onto GZ today which was somewhat easier than the puzzle! Found the cache after a quick search of the area.

I was fortunate enough to be at the GC912HZ Puzzled by Puzzles event on Wednesday night where the CO provided a walkthrough of his thought process when he developed this puzzle. Armed with this information I later worked through the numerous steps to locate GZ. Even with BFE's insight it still took me a few attempts to get through one of the teps. After what seemed like an incredibly long week at work and a quick gym session to round off Friday, I called by GZ on the way home. The cache was found in the obvious location and my retrieval was watched keenly by three sulphur crested cockatoos. The D/T rating also fills a hole in my grid - looking forward to a future D5/T1!!!! TFTC BFE.
Another BFE puzzle, another puzzle of where do I start?
I tried the obvious thing that popped out to me but I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be looking at because once solved it still didn't make sense to me.
I put it aside till today, [@Brad&Janet](http://coord.info/PR8T99X) log came through and a few hints stood out to me, back to my original idea from last night and the hint made the light bulb turn on. Still how do you get there from the original but it worked if I reversed it , odd?
The next step made sense but which was the correct word to use? I bit of what I had for breakfast and the centre of gravity was found. Well interesting way to use a grid.
On the way to an event this evening in the city I stopped by this one, I parked the car and made the walk to GZ, the cache was easily found in the first place I looked and no special creatures seen here.
Claiming STF

Another “Multi step, multi stage puzzle”.
Oh oh.
As it turns out this is another quite clever and logical (for a given value of logical) puzzle. Even *Cache_or_Check* might like this one. Maybe?
As there is a “how to solve puzzles” GC event tomorrow, we thought we might get in early and offer some helpful puzzle solving thoughts here. But not of course the actual solution
One of the important things we have learned is that coordinate systems all have different degrees of accuracy. Some might be accurate to a metre or so. Others perhaps to 5 metres. And that means that conversions between systems do not always give exactly the same result. There’s a sort of uncertainty principle for some coordinate conversions.
This may not matter if you are looking for a cache at a final location, as a few metres difference is something an experienced finder can usually deal with.
However if the conversion is an important part of, or step in, a puzzle, then knowing that there is some uncertainty and making allowances for this can sometimes result in a blinding flash of inspiration on how to solve a previously perplexing, “no idea what to do”, or “too many ideas of what to do” puzzle.
As was the case with this one.
If it can be located, this blinding flash is much better than continuing random attempts, although even these sometimes produce the correct answer.
So if you get stuck in one of the two places we got stuck, hopefully there is something in this log to help you with each of them. If not maybe fall back on Occam's razor?
And BTW once we got past the 3 cache guardians (see photos), we found the hide a bit more challenging than some other BFE hides.
