I created this geocache when I was living close by as I really liked the area. Unfortunately it has been washed away so many times that I have deemed it a bad hide. We get some of those I guess. I hope this clears the area up for a better more sturdy and long lasting hide.

A lot of recent rock movement and overgrown Singapore Daisy. Could not find but not a huge amount of effort put in.
Saw that it was replaced in August with a preform so sausage3 and I Scratched around for about 20 minutes without success. It’s very overgrown with Spanish daisy.
No luck today. Been a while since I've searched for a fake rock cache. Hoping this hasn't been muggled
12 Oct 2020, feels like a long time ago in some regards. But since then I have hoped to personally find this geocache. Annoyingly, I timed a visit soon after a big rain event and I assume the geocache had gone for a trip to Moreton Bay. But today I have the chance to return and remedy the sadness.
Standing at an event, I mentioned to the CO that I want to grab this geocache after I leave. She says it may be missing, so instead offered me a replacement and I could log the find if I replace the geocache on her behalf. That's fair enough!
I navigated to the area with a preform on the passenger seat, and parked closer than last time. In this quiet parkland, there were very few muggles, but flood damage is either evident, forever-present, or both.
Down to GZ. I quickly found the wobbly rock, which made an attempt on my life. But with the coast clear, I got down low and poked all about for any remaining geocache activity. None were found.
With a few smaller rocks rearranged, I poked the new geocache under some greenery at the same GZ. One row of rocks down, preform down in the cracks. With that done, I had noted the lovely weir trickling by. A curious little thing in the suburbs.
Also though, I noticed some tyres in the stream. I managed to remove one, and added it to the lightpost which has been ripped up and currently laying beside the path. Good deeds done, I decided it was time to head off just before 13:00. Thanks for this geocache and bringing me to this lovely little park, Net88

Just got back into geocaching after about a decade! I’ve been sitting near this cache for a while a few years now and I didn’t even know! TFTC
After looking for a fair while we came up empty handed, very overgrown so maybe played a part
out with smh for the day and we are now winging it after a plan change and some lunch
couldn't find the wobbly rock ... yes i know i usually find them all
oh my gosh ... so hot i couldn't sit on the rocks and even leaning on them was not good
lucky smh had previously been so helped
beautiful spot

I walk along this path nearly every day, but hadn’t checked the map in a while to see if there were any caches in the area. What a pleasant surprise! Quick and easy find while the hubby kept walking with the littles and the pup. Thanks for the cache, it’s in good shape.
This evening after work, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I took a short drive, and then went for a walk along Kedron Brook. A nice walk with baby in pram along the creek/river whilst grabbing a few geocaches.
We parked in Bellvue Avenue, and thus walked along the path, passing by this location. It actually is a really nice spot, and ironically enough, I have ran past here on multiple past occasions whilst taking part in parkrun, but never once glanced over to this area. There were a few ducks having a swim, but sadly they flew away as we approached GZ. This geocache did take a while to spot, and I had used the wobbly rock clue to narrow down to where I should be searching. As it turned out, there were a couple of wobbly rocks, and after finding the second rock, I took a search around where I found the nicely camouflaged cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Net88 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Out and about with Selva Girls to pick up some caches today. We headed to GZ. Searched for what seemed like ages for this one. TFTC
As we were passing close by on our way home, Mr CuriousQuest and I decided to stop for one last cache. It took longer to find than it should have, but eventually we were able to addd our names tot he log. TFTC
Sun was shining and the scooters hadn’t been used for a while so a plan was made to grab some Drums and a few trads along Kedron Brook Bikeway. Really enjoyable day and was thankful to have had some help with the puzzles in this series. I had a head start with a few knowing the CO and her musical preferences. That narrowed the field with some.
Out this way today and noticed that others were finding this where I had failed. Today I parked closer and I’m not sure if this new approach helped but I had the cache found very quickly. And it was exactly what I was looking for and I thought exactly where I was looking so not sure how I missed this last time.
The water here is crystal clear and looked very inviting.

Wow! Fun little find. Unfortunately was made quite easy as the area in which the cache was located had nearby small rocks strewn around and not replaced. Did my best to reposition them.
Hardest part was rolling up the paper again! Plenty of room left.

Out for another few caches in an attempt to (eventually) get to 1000. A very good disguise. Hint was definitely needed! Tftc
One of only three trad caches NurseyJulie and I snapped up while beating the drum this morning. Making our way to GZ, we arrived at a likely spot and got stuck into the hunt. We never found the unstable rock, but after a short hunt we did have the container in hand.
The 'second' piece of the container is no longer present but everything is A ok and the log is dry. I added our names before returning everything as found.
Cheers Net88.

A bonus trad in amongst the Drum series. We found the said boulder and then started the search on both sides. Gunnie soon spotted the container and signed away for us. TFTC
We looked everywhere, we were sure we had the right spot because we even found the wobbly rock, but nothing around…
Parked not at the suggested coords which would have been a lot closer but I did have a lovely walk
to GZ. At GZ there was a couple with their dog who was having a great time in the water. I moved about 20m away from them and started my subtle search but nothing was looking cache like. The muggles and their dog left so I started a not so subtle search with the same result.
Lovely area that looks like I need a return visit to. Thanks Net88

Couldn’t find this one, probably due to the amount of rocks in the area and my cache blindnesss. Thank you though!
After realising that there are more than one wobbly rock, made a quick find. Thanks for the cache

An afternoon post-work wander whilst driving the zeros on poor Suzee until I could get to a reasonably priced petrol station. Having checked here before for a frownie I was very pleased to score a smilie today. Although this CO always makes me smile [^].
Thanks Net88 for entertaining me at this location.

Catching up on some logging from my week day adventures. I had visited here previously without success as there was a constant procession of passing muggles. On a quiet day I had better luck in my search. Found & signed on 18/8/21. TFTC
Out with krcamber, swearah and Stephyy today grabbing some drums. We decided to collect this traditional while we were in the area, Stephyy was the one who came up with the goods at GZ

Nice area here would be good for a swim.
Out with swearah, jodsta83 and krcamber collecting drums so stopped here on the way through. I happened to find this one. Off to the next thanks for the cache.

Swearah, Jodsta83, and Stephyy walked down to this one while I went back to grab the car. After some procrastination from Jodsta83 who was lying down on the job, Stephyy made the find. TFTC!
Came for an after dinner wandered to try and track down a drum that had recently been replaced. But was not able to locate it in the dark. So dropped in here for this one instead. The new dog was all over the rocks and the kid discovered the hint matching rock for me!
A great little spot with a nicely trickling creek. This cache has been replaced and is now able to be found. Lots of people out with kids today. I took a seat and waited for a GAP and grabbed the small of many to make the find. Thanks Net88.
As five of us had to go past this cache whilst doing the Drum geoart series, we thought it was worth a look. Unfortunately it was actually quite hard to search thoroughly due to all the Sphagneticola trilobata creeping plant covering all the rocks so without wanting to destroy these plants, we bailed!
I am almost back on my feet after a few weeks of bed rest so will be looking at replacing this one in the next week or so.
Out with Karicka targeting the Drums series today. On the bikes for most and the car for the rest.
Had a quick look for this while passing as I was going to replace the log but it wasn’t where Karicka previously found it.
Thanks Net88 for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

I would imagine that since this logbook was already damp that the latest torrential downpour and flooding in Brisbane may be enough to dislodge this one. The container *MAY* still be there, but I am doubtful. I will head down when the rain clears up and see if there is a better location.
Today was my push to 5000 finds. I needed 29 finds for today. The break down was 22 mystery, Traditional, multi and Adventure Lab with 5 waypoints.
Lots of walking done and bit of fishing done.
I did have lots of fun.
Sorry for the generic log

Out on a bike ride in this beautiful area we stopped here to find this one along the way. As it was mid week all was quiet and we had paths in the park ways to ourselves.
Our ride started early in the morning, so we did have to be watchful to keep an eye out for speedy commuters. Along the way someone asked us if we were collecting mushrooms? Actually we didn’t see any mushrooms today but plenty of toadstools.
Thanks Net88

Arrived at GZ and immediately stumbled on the loose rock [:o)]. I was about to start looking when two fishermen turned up and decided to stand on the very next rock and wet their lines [:(!]. What the hell do they expect to catch? I have a cache to find. Get the hell out of here. Of course, you can't say that, so I had to go and sit on the nearby hill where I could watch them. It was a very nice wait. There are a lot worse places I could have been. With the relaxing babble of the water and the day cooling down, I was most relaxed. It was almost a disappointment when they suddenly reeled in and left. Found the cache pretty smartly and signed my name. There was some water in the container that I tipped out. Nothing to dry it with unfortunately. Before I left, I stood on the rocky rock again, just to prove I could [^].
great location, I feel the size of this one is questionable , TFTC Thanks for bringing us here
Nice little hide. Lovely mini waterfall nearby. Found with Erm_the_worm and Sour_lemom. TFTC!
After work i decided to take my bike for a spin and pick up some smileys. At gz i used the hint and soon had the cache in hand. The log book was very wet so i left it in the sun while i found some other caches but it didnt dry out much so i put it in a plastic bag and added another log book in a zip lock bag so hope that works well. Then i admired a duck nearby. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

Friday. Out today collecting some caches in the nearby area and this one was on the way. Couldn’t let it go by without a looksee and hopefully a find. With help from a previous finder, it took a while, but eventually came up with the goods well covered. Log was soaked, but managed to imprint SP and the date on a page. Glad to have found this one
This was the 6th of 30 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***Net88*** for showing us this place

The log is very wet, stinky & coming apart as the pages are separated.
Difficult to sign without damaging.
Definitely needed sanitizer after this one.
Some CO TLC would go well here.

You can't beat a good Geoart series & this Drum Beat series has certainly earned it's place in the Top 10 in QLD.
Great puzzle mix and some top cache locations.
We have 60 of the 63 puzzles solved so it's time for a few more smilies.
Round 2 …
#19 of 22 found today.
Not one of the Drum Beat series but on the way to one so another smilie is not to be frowned upon.
Lots of muggles passing here as it was school finishing time and there were high school students EVERYWHERE!
Took a few snaps of the water to divert attention and Mrs vc soon found the cache about two to three metres from a 'wobbly rock', not 1 metre as suggested.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

I was walking past this cache to get to another one and decided that I should check it out. It was stinking hot on the rocks but, luckily, it didn't take long to locate the cache.
The log book was very wet but I managed to put my mark in red ink.
I took the liberty to
1. remove the plastic bag which only retains the moisture and
2 replace the cache upside down to try to prevent water getting in.
I hope this helps. to maintain a dry log book

A nice quick find here today with no muggles around. With the recent rain the sound of the water cascading over that little weir was wonderful. TFTC
Not a muggle in sight today, which was surprising as I cycle along this bike path to work, and it’s usually very hectic. Once we had arrived at GZ, DisSister and I proceeded to look for the item mentioned in the hint, bouncing and wiggling all over the place, while The Marble simply got down to business reached down and extracted the container. DisSister and I cracked up laughing. It is a nice spot, especially after rain like last night’s.

Whilst La Kedi and I were very busy stepping here there and everywhere finding the key item mentioned in the hint, The Marble decided to just get on with the job, bent over and picked up the cache. TFTC Net88
Aw, unfair! I walked like a kilometre to get to this geocache with skies threatening to storm - only to have a family of muggles fishing at GZ.
I can't imagine fishing here is terribly effective somehow. But, another day I'll be back!

This stretch of Kedron Brook brought back memories of a long ago today, from Brookside all the way down to Murphy's paddock and beyond. I used to live at Everton Park in a previous life.
After a search and a few dead ends so to speak this afternoon, cache found in good condition. Signed log and re-placed. Cheers. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Skyline Pigeon and I found this awesome little spot of tranquility. Cache was in the first place I looked . TFTC
Another visitor today...
I get to the Brookside area every so often and today I picked up a Campos coffee with an extra shot and made my way over here, using the recommended parking.
4pm means many muggles! I would say at least 20 people and animals went past while I was here.
Nonetheless, I made the find during a gap and enjoyed some serenity with the mini-waterfall in the background. TFTC where all is in great condition.

Out for a little ride and had unfinished business at this location. Plenty of opinions to grab a seat and take in the water views while dealing with the logging duties. Almost like the foot traffic at Central Station past here at 7:30 am but with prior knowledge and the I'm just sitting here admiring the water approach muggles pose no issue.
Thanks, I love a good bike cache

On my way to the city this afternoon I called by to collect this cache. Lately I've had trouble getting the official app to narrow down the GPS but this time the accuracy was great and the cache was in the first spot I looked at [^] TFTC, Net88.
Took the liberty of putting in a small "replacement" which should serve until the CO is available.
1.5 / 1.5 cache. Way to difficult for me. Think I left my eyes at home . No muggles for the first 15 min. Then they started swarming after that.
Beautiful spot. Really enjoyed watching the dogs frolicking in the pools. Cache found dry and in great condition. Thanks
Heading to my sister's for dinner, she lives about a 2 min walk from here so of course I stopped in to make the find.
After a bit of back and forth due to my bouncy phone, I soon had the cache in hand. Log signed, all replaced as found, i headed over for a lovely BBQ.

Sitting at home looking at what cache I can grab to keep my challenge alive and the phone goes off with new caches being published. Awesome there is one not far away.
I made my way to GZ and grabbed my headlight and my extra torch. No one is here maybe I’m in luck, with a little bit of bonus on the GPS, I searched around and couldn’t find it. Spent 15 minutes there and thinking someone is going to turn up soon. I stepped away and tried again.
Second attempt and I had a different spot and then spied the cache, opened it up and a blank page, so happy. Just then another cacher arrived, he signed the log. With both signatures in the log I replaced the cache as found.
Thank you so much for this one as it helped to keep my two challenges alive and a FTF.
