Thanks TasTyphoons for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, Blackmans Bay Adventures 4 - Jewel in the Crown, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #1969 at 08:54 on 8/9/2024. FTF: Found with: Swampy Weather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: good Cache condition: good Distance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
We Looked At The Wrong Stump At First But Then My Grandma Found Another Stump And We Found It!
Nice easy find and sign. House sitting in Kingston and this afternoon headed out to collect 4 caches nearby. This was the second of the 4. TFTC
Tasmania Trip Day 8. After arriving in Hobart yesterday afternoon and having a nice walk before dinner, today my aim was to visit some counties to the south west of the city. I did not go onto the island, but I did the rest of the counties. It was not the most successful of starts to the day, but I reached the numbers I was hoping for and headed back into town where I went for a much longer walk around the middle of the city and docks to do about six sets of Labs. By the time that was all done I was looking forward to dinner and a long nights rest.I walked down the steep steps too the area with this cache. It is great that the council have connected these green spaces even though the ground it very steep. Thanks for the cache TasTyphoons45987.26 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Flying Skull A#121**Albida**
Last little find for tonight. Thanks for some caching in lovely local places while walking the dog
I live very close by this one and have just removed it to dry it out. Should be back in the next few hours. If you happen to be going there this morning, message me in the app and Ill make sure you have something to sign
Heute bei heissem Sonnenschein vor dem Weihnachtseinkauf zuerst noch ein paar Caches gemacht. Diesen in kurzer Zeit gefunden. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
We are from Switzerland...We do houssitting all over the world and this time we are back in Tasmania the second time ...We traveled around here 14 years ago...its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching ..Today Nggi2 and I went out to make out of green ones yellow smilies ..We visited only afew caches because it was quite hot by some and otherwise windy in the shade. We spoted most Dsli (means Cache little box) straight away ..but two took us much longer. Thank you for placing this Dsli oinkoinkSorry to say..the logbook is soaking wet we can't write in it ..
So after work and going home to get changed and put on the laundry and put the bicycle in the van for tomorrows caching adventure, I ventured out and found this cache. A very quick find for me tonight. Got the info. Thanks for the cache!
Quick and logical find with aadi_is_the_best, cool staircase! We now have all the info for the bonus so I think it's time to calculate some coords!
Happened upon this series while on errands in the area, even though I don’t have a child in tow. Yet another gorgeous park in the area. This is my 900th cache, so definitely a “jewel in the crown”. Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here.
Nice one! Love unexpected cache locations like this! Thanks, also good to get some blood flowing in the legs after sitting down most of today!
Lovely view from the top of the stairs. Well built staircase too. I was driving up wondering "why here" until I suddenly saw the view. Nice one. Thanks TasTyphoons and Dragonee
With Monks 55. Glad to have our poking stick as the grass is a little long...quick find and TB deposited. TFTC
We are visiting family who live in Blackmans Bay and as we were out walking our eagle eyed son spotted what he believed was a cache. We had thought we’d found all the caches in the area so checked the map. Lo and behold, there was a new series since we had visited last. So we convinced our grandson to go on a treasure hunt with us. It was a great circuit and all the caches were easily found, partly because of the very descriptive hints. Thanks so much for this series of caches, we thoroughly enjoyed the adventure.
Just coming from the (BBA 3 - Go Home ET) cache i used the handy laneways from there, across Amethyst Drive then through to this park to some intensely yappy dogs, which thankfully there were none of at GZ.
A nicely hidden cache here in a deep recess so the cache is well out of Adventurous and Curious Wee Muggles' sight.
The cache was located and the log signed at 11:56 on Monday 19 July 2021.
The cache and contents are in A1 condition Re-hid deep in that hidey spot

Found pretty quickly. Our 4th Cache of the day. FYI, bring your own pen, we forgot to. Nice spot, we live in Kingston and we didn't even know this was here.
Today we decided to head to Kingston - Snug and surrounds and towards Mount Wellington to find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A great day out, not too cold, sun out allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors.
We collected the required information, a quick find at GZ. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Lady membsec had an appointment in town so we decided to continue heading south after that appointment. The weather was perfect for caching.
Wow, you want us to go down there??!! We did go down there and the cache was quickly found. Clue collected.

We walked to this one from number 3 and after a short up hill we made out we were out of puff old men as we waited for a couple of young whipersnappers to leave, with the coast clear, it was a quick search for this one and we added our names to the log in no time at all.
The CO has found a great spot for a cache with this one, with a lot of urban hides i'll turn and think well this one isn't going to last long, but this hide could last a long time if finders dnt give it away.
thanks for the cache.

Oh that's steep! We slugged up the hill heading toward an elaborate looking staircase only to find a girl with a scooter and a guy waiting for her. We did what any unfit middle aged blokes do naturally - we stopped to 'rest' whilst huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf! Once they;d gone SSR swooped on the cache, he has suitably impressed with the hidey hole.
Right now we had 3 our of 4 numbers and a pretty good idea of the missing one so its off to calculate the final.
Thanks TasTyphoons

Hello TasTyphoons thank you for the cache
This one was a nice quick find and the second find in this series.
Now to walk back to the car.
I didn't realize this one had some information I required until finding another two of your caches in this series, so I had to come back and find the information required.

A short walk uphill from the last. Since the area was deserted today, the youngest red tag was able to find the cache in it's nice hidden hole !
Thanks for the cache, TasTyphoons and Dragonee !

After a busy morning, RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I headed out to grab a few geocaches before the rain arrived.
We thought we had time to complete this series, and now we were up to no 4. A nice quick walk and find at GZ. Now to put that info we had collected all together.

A day caching with Oldsaint started on the domain and ended up in the channel.
Nice little walk to the cache, but worked out later that I parked in the wrong location for both 3 and 4
Great cache hiding spot.

Quickly found. Then had to get it again because I didn't realise the hint was there to collect. Thankfully TaurusSix was on the ball.
