If I could guess when this work is being finished, or even what it is, I would be buying a lot more Lotto tickets.
All the work seems to be finished around here, still fenced off!Maybe they are waiting until the tunnel opens (or the next decade!)
The area around GZ is still fenced off. They seem to be doing something, but not sure what!
The area is still fenced off, but there does not seem to be anyone working there. Nor are there sign that might explain what is happening. So I am disabling this cache until they are finished.
It was worth a check, I couldn't find it either. It is now replaced and ready to be found.
I might be cache blind but this one hasn't been found in a few months whilst the others in the area have been found repeatedly over Feb and March. Worth a check, CO?
*Tenth Day Of Christmas Rainy Cache Bikearama #16*Why? Cos we're crazy.Magic view! Thanks heaps for the cache!
Had never heard of Disc Golf before today. The things you learn by geocaching TFTC
Back again to do a few caches, two trains and a bus from Thomastown got me here on a great day. Thank you Robmc for your cache a great hide.Greytiger
Found at 14:32Visiting the area yesterday afternoon, I realised that this detour didn't add too much to my trip home as long as I was early enough. Back this afternoon for the couple of caches on the other side of the road. Found quickly at gz.Thanks Robmc for the cache
Super cool! Found it quick but had a nice picnic and will look 4 more caches!
First time out “treasure hunting” in years. First time with my 5yo daughter. Lots of muggles about on this beautiful sunny spring day and lots of them playing disc golf so only got the one. Will have to come back for the others on a quieter day. TFTC!
Out today for some walking and caching. I chose Stony Creek and Kororoit Creeks to walk some and drive some - truly a Robmc day with all caches belonging to him. No problem here exept finding a car park.
My thanks to Robmc for the cache.

One cacher wasn't wrong about ants..! I think I picked up >10 at the same time as the cache. Thanks a lot for bringing me to the golf course
Found after 5 minutes I’m covered in ants. Really fun find this is my first I hope you guys can find it too:)
Found this cache while visiting Melbourne and took public transport over to get in a disc golf course. Since disc golf is my favorite hobby (even over geocaching!) I am very excited that this will probably be my 'furthest from home' cache (~9500 miles), maybe of my entire life. TFTH.
Lots of ants in the cache home. I extracted the container with a pen and removed ants by rubbing it in grass.

I had come over the the western suburbs to pick up some more finds for a couple of LGA challenges that I am working... and decided to tackle some caches along Stony Creek to increase my Maribyrnong Council cache count. Having parked at the Hyde Street entrance, I made my way through the Disc Golf Course to this cache... Disc Golf seems a bit weird but then again, Disc Golfing Muggles probably think the same of geocaching!
Thanks **Robmc** for placing this cache... and providing an explanation for the strange steel baskets throughout the reserve.

Mind the ants. Felt a bit like Indiana Jones put my hand into a hive of bugs to get this one. Been meaning to get this one for a while. TFTC.
YAPIDKA! Can’t believe I saw someone ‘practicing’ frisbee skills in the wind! When you don’t live in Marvellous Melbs which is expanding at a mighty rate you don’t get to all the LGA’s or even across the river too often. So enter geocaching and suddenly you travel far and wide. I’m on a merry mighty multi mission that includes this LGA. Good reason to explore and get out and about on trusty treadles. TFTC and the fun.

*Cache find # 14146.*
I was now making my way towards home but at the same time, avoiding the freeway and going the back streets to the bridge.
When you go a different way, you come across all these caches that you would normally miss, this being one of them.
I was muggled out at this one earlier on, but I was now on my bike again and I came in from the opposite direction, this time the coast was clear, so I headed over and was able to make a quick find.
**Thanks to Robmc for placing this cache.**

Well hidden, found it in 5 minutes and it was really fun cause it was my first geocache!
Found it a few months ago, didn't know what it was, thought it was private so I didn't read it till 2023 lol, JUST TODAY I READ IT. lol
Just over two years since our last visit to the Stony Creek trail.
Nice to be back this morning.
A cold and blustery wind was howling here. The bridge vehicle noise was substantial.
The cache was found soon after arriving at GZ.
Thanks to Robmc for this placement, no disc throwers here today.

Found by Omegaman1971, Rebel Acts, Ski pair
With Rebel Acts marooned on this side of the city for the day it was a perfect excuse to put some smiles on the map and feed my OCD regarding finding all of the current sidetracked caches in Victoria.
Cheers for the cache

I had to drop the girls off a Equitana at the show grounds to today and pick them up some twelve hours later so plans were made with my caching friends to meet up to do a few caches for the day we started in the western suburbs before feeding our Side tracked obsession and chasing a few off those, we had a great day out the weather was just great for caching, plenty of laughs were had a long the way.
This is one of the caches found today. There was a guy here playing dissc golf he asked if we were caching, he knew all about the cache.
Thanks Robmc for the cache.

The original plan had us likely to head elsewhere, but Rebel Acts was called on to take some keen horse fanatics to Equitania at the showgrounds. He was going to be in the area all day so we decided to meet him as we had been looking for the chance to drop our granddaughter's bike back at her home nearby anyway. We were also joined by Omegaman which led to a fun day with lots of stories and gentle sledging. A great day out that took us to a number of places we had not visited before.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Robmc.

Yep, lid has gone but its still dry even though its been so rainy. Was worried walking through calf high grass to get to this, never know what's in it. This was my second attempt to find it, don't know how I missed it last summer!
Found it, but missing his cap. Tftc, now have disk golf pencilled in for a date night!
Well, who knew! There were a whole bunch of people playing Disc Golf when we arrived to collect the cache. We didn't even know there was such a thing as Disc Golf, let alone a whole course here in Yarraville.
A quick find. TFTC Robmc

Getting out to cache is getting harder as the kids get older however with one on camp and the other doing homework we grabbed the geo-pooch and hopped in the car.
I have wanted to get over this side of town for a while and today was the perfect day for it.
There were a couple of people attempting to play disc golf but it didn't look too successful. A quick find. TFTC.

Found by Mary and David at at 16:35. You have given us a wonderful afternoon with much joy, entertainment and plenty of steps. Certainly a different view of the Bridge. So much better to see it from this angle and not among the many crawling vehicle crossing it. A FP. Our thanks to Robmc.
Fascinating to watch people playing disc golf...doesn't look easy though!! Thanks for bringing us here -we wouldn't have stumbled across it otherwise - so interesting. Thanks for the cache Robmc you're certainly keeping us busy today!
We loved this park and had a lovely time walking around it with echidna44 today. This cache had such a cute little hidey hole!! Thanks Robmc
Out with pinnacle333 we were caching in the Yarraville area.
We were fascinated as we watched people play disc golf nearby. Very cute hide, thanks Robmc.

Thanks man for the great cache. Found it with a group of disc golfers who lost their Frisbee in the same tree.
Nice and easy to break up the not so nice and easy ones that I’ve attempted today
