Not the strongest magnet in the world but found on the ground at its host. Replaced on host where I feel it belongs. Thanks for the cache.
Dont know how I missed it the first time!I think that another cacher was in the park at the same time?.TFTC.
TFTC:). A fun and easy find. Once I got to GZ, I quickly ascertained what I believed was the best option for the hide. Luckily for me it was correct and the find was made.Of note, log is pretty full. Was able to log on one of the very few spots available. C.C
Likely location spotted on approach, employed the trusty selfie camera for a quick extraction, tftc
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Eight: Maribyrnong and Hobsons Bay. Weather: just a few spots of rain today.I was busted here - a man was playing fetch the ball with his dog, and for some reason this manic little Jack Russell decided to return the ball to me rather than his owner, who was standing at least 200 meters away and didnt look anything like me. I returned the ball into play, and with all eyes on the dog, I returned to what I was doing. Does anyone know what this sign means? Thanks for the cache Robmc.
With dot558 out for the morningFound it on ground but magnet working fine placed backThanks fir the smile
Very quick find on the way home from school. When I saw the location I decided to use my camera to find the cache as there was no WAY I was sticking my hand in there blind. After that it was a very quick find.TFTC
This was ok however it's kind of a spider nest. So be careful where you put your hands
Clue: this is definitely there. Stick your phone camera in any holes where something magnetic could be stuck.
I'm heading home now after a productive caching run. 12 for 16 is my tally for the day, for now. It's Tax Day in the USA but the IRS can't get me in Australia. Time for a glass of wine.
A need for a walk before it began raining saw me travel over the Westgate, and down a couple of streets to park up in an informal car park off Hyde St. I appreciated the short travel time and got started shortly thereafter. My logs will include this standard blurb and then a comment or two about each cache separated from this blurb by a dividing line. Many thanks to the CO for making use of the lengthiest lockdown to place these additional caches along Stony Creek. I ended up walking (and finding) half of what I thought I might find when looking at the series on the computer/phone.I was just fine with that given it fulfilled the desired distance. I was also content to limit my time around Francis and Williamstown Rds. given the sheer number of trucks and amount of particulate spat out by them. By the end of the walk I could feel my eyes smart and chest tighten a little. I have no idea how those actually living on those roads cope with the amount of pollution they are exposed too. I'd imagine rates of asthma and other respiratory conditions must be far higher than less industrial areas.---Not a huge fan of reaching in to holes sight unseen. Not only did I find the cache, I managed to dislodge and extract a snail for my troubles.
Found it a while ago came back to sign it and had a close encounter with a spider
*Tenth Day Of Christmas Rainy Cache Bikearama #17*Why? Cos we're crazy.Huge arch for a small park Thanks heaps for the cache!
bunadoorian was on this one first. I wasn't following the distance remaining and overshot GZ. Another well hidden cache. TFTC Robmc
As Grub62 and I were approaching GZ I noticed a potential hiding place that seemed to be appropriate to the hint and bingo an easy find on a well hidden cache. TFTC.
Nice quick and easy find, especially using the Hint. Liked the green wedge, loved the red sign. TFTC
In Melbourne from Perth for a few days so we decided to hire a car and head out to snag a few local caches. All well here. Thanks for the cache
Out and about again, last day in Melbourne travelling about today grabbing more LGAs. Not sure how many I got today - the goal from this trip was to pass 200!Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds todayThanks to all the COs for the hides I found.
Found at 15:40Back again for the stop on the Stony Creek trail. There was plenty of traffic but I picked a tonne when there was a big truck stopped in front and I was able to search in peace. Thanks Robmc for the cache
On reading "Trail Break", I thought this one will be my last one for today. I'll come back another day to finish off when things calm down a bit. Once again Thank you Robmc for your caches I enjoyed them all and now a bus and two trains to get me home.Greytiger
Out today for some walking and caching. I chose Stony Creek and Kororoit Creeks to walk some and drive some - truly a Robmc day with all caches belonging to him. A quick find here today.
Thanks to Robmc for the cache.

I’m scarcely over this side of town since there are very few occasions that require me to venture out to the western suburbs. However tonight was DnD night and was being hosted in Spotswood, so I figured I’d grab my cache for the day over here before starting.
This was a nice quick find once I settled on the correct side. Log signed and replaced as found. Now to head back. I certainly don’t envy those who have to regularly drive these narrow streets.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

I had come over the the western suburbs to pick up some more finds for a couple of LGA challenges that I am working... and decided to tackle some caches along Stony Creek to increase my Maribyrnong Council cache count. To reduce the amount of walking, I relocated my car to Morven St for a nice and quick find...
Thanks **Robmc** for placing this cache.

First cache in a while for me, I had attempted this one before, so it is nice to finally find it!
TFTC!
TFTC!
Logic found it! YAPIDKA too which is just as well given the industrial feel as trucks trundle and roar by. When you don’t live in Marvellous Melbs which is expanding at a mighty rate you don’t get to all the LGA’s or even across the river too often. So enter geocaching and suddenly you travel far and wide. I’m on a merry mighty multi mission that includes this LGA. Good reason to explore and get out and about on trusty treadles. TFTC and the fun.

I was now making my way towards home but at the same time, avoiding the freeway and going the back streets to the bridge.
When you go a different way, you come across all these caches that you would normally miss, this being one of them.
I figured I knew where it was going to be, it was just a matter of which side, eventually I got it and signed the log.
**Thanks to Robmc for placing this cache.**

The first day of a new job for Mrs Dromaniax at the nearby Community centre gave her a great opportunity to grab a cache during her lunch break.
It was a relatively short walk along the street towards GZ.
Once there she looked around for a little while before realising that she was on the wrong side of the fence.
Once she was on the correct side of the fence she used her geosenses and soon had the cache in hand.
The cache is in great condition with plenty of space on the log.
Thank you for this Traditional cache Robmc.

took a while but eventually found it since the map was saying it was in the middle of the road
Thanks for the series, it’s great to cycle around this area. Thanks for bringing me here.

Found by Rebel Acts in the company of Ski Pair and Omegaman1971
I had to drop the girls off a Equitana at the show grounds to today and pick them up some twelve hours later so plans were made with my caching friends to meet up to do a few caches for the day we started in the western suburbs before feeding our Side tracked obsession and chasing a few off those, we had a great day out the weather was just great for caching, plenty of laughs were had a long the way.

With Rebel Acts marooned on this side of the city for the day it was a perfect excuse to put some smiles on the map and feed my OCD regarding finding all of the current sidetracked caches in Victoria.
Was great to finally do some caching with Ski pair, and share some caching stories.
Cheers for the cache

The original plan had us likely to head elsewhere, but Rebel Acts was called on to take some keen horse fanatics to Equitania at the showgrounds. He was going to be in the area all day so we decided to meet him as we had been looking for the chance to drop our granddaughter's bike back at her home nearby anyway. We were also joined by Omegaman which led to a fun day with lots of stories and gentle sledging. A great day out that took us to a number of places we had not visited before.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Robmc.

Swung by for a quick park and grab, I was looking for an easy one. It was right where I assumed it was last time I came, so thanks to the CO for replacing it since then. I'm off to Europe tomorrow with 34 TBs so fingers crossed I will find enough larger caches!
It has been a while with all the cold rainy winter weekends that we have gone a scooter ride but my smallest geokid and I headed out today to this trail. The weather was almost perfect and there was a small section I needed to revisit to avenge a couple DNF's I had a while ago as well. There were quite a few "interesting" smells emanating from some of the industrial areas.
After completing the outer most section of the FT trail I had 3 DNF's the last time I was in this area near the bridge so we stopped by to look for them again.
Gladly once we parked and got out of the car my geokid found this in the first place she looked. Thanks for replacing it.
Thanks Robmc for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Unfortunately this was a DNF for us. We had 2 attempts, at the start and at the finish of our walk, with no luck either time...next time
More bad news. Pretty sure we were at the correct site, but unable to find the cache. Our thanks anyway to Robmc.
Pretty certain I was in the right place but just could not get it after a 10 minute thorough hands-on search. The muggle juggling nearby was way too involved in what they were doing to take much notice, but how do you juggle in today's gale force wind?
We had a lovely day caching with echidna44, even though the weather was a bit icy
We quickly spotted a suspicious looking hiding spot and sure enough found the cache within.. Thanks Robmc!!

Another nice Melbourne afternoon so what do you do after work, go and find a few caches on a trail put out by Robmc of course.
I keep staring at these green dots on my map and always think I will get to them one day so this afternoon is the day.
This was the first one I attempted and was muggled out so on the way back I noticed the area was empty so I parked in the side street and came back to it.
I thought that there could only be one place for it and after a bit of a feel around I noticed it on the ground.
Signed the log and placed it back to where I thought it should go.
Thanks Robmc TFTC.

Was in the area for an errand and needed one more cache for souvenir- didn’t bring my clubs but soon found the cache where I expected it to be. Thanks Robmc for the maintenance of this cache.
When I got here the cache was trying to make a break for it! Fortunately I stopped it and put it back.
It’s always a good day spent with echidna44, and add caching and it becomes excellent. This expedition ranged from Spotswood to Altona. Love the way locals either give a upmarket nickname, or else the opposite to some feature in their area. TFTC Robmc
